Large house for the price. Brilliant location, felt like living in a tree house. Comfortable Queen sized beds. Showers really good. Will be back.

Excellent

I stayed with my family, my parents, partner and baby (3 months). There was a portacot for the baby, which was great. Awesome view of the sea from the front balcony. We had barbecues most nights. We also used the washing machine and dryer with no issues. I would bring my own doona cover next tome, even though they are upplied im not sure how frequently they are washed and changed.

Great location

This property is in a great spot. Easy walking distance to the shops and the beach. Great communication from the property manager, which made our stay easy and enjoyable.

Nice property close to main strip

We enjoyed our short mid week stay in Lorne at this property. Had plenty of room for multiple guests and is close walking to main strip and beach. Has a few stairs and internal level stairs to be weary of for little kids.

Perfect place to stay in Lorne

What a beautiful house to stay in at Lorne… in an amazing spot, short walk to Main Street & beach. We instantly felt at home, had everything we needed, enjoyed bbq breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the tree tops & ocean in the background. Just magical! Noel was so accommodating & lovely to deal with. Thank you for a beautiful stay, we would definitely recommend.

Perfect Location

We loved the location of this place and found it had everything we needed in excellent working order. We didn’t love the additional cost for linen and felt the doona’s were not clean. Overall it was terrific and would recommend it but bring your own linen.

Great autumn getaway

What a wonderful stay. Everything we needed was on hand. Big pluses Were:- The proximity to town- short walking distance Wood fire- easy to light and kept us nice and warm on chilly nights Comfy couch and Netflix and reliable WIFI to keep the teens happy. We’ll def be back. Thanks to Noel our host for making it so easy.

That was a wonderful experience worth repeating. The place had everything we needed including total privacy. Playing ping-pong in the garage and feeding cockatoos while cooking BBQ stake on a spacious balcony just added a final touch to our complete satisfaction.

Lorne short stay

Enjoyed our short stay, great location as only a short walk to main street & shops. Property could have had some more basics ie oil, salt pepper, paper towel. And could have been cleaner.

Great location but...

The location was great but the stay could have been better.... The emailed code to respond to the host was invalid on each of 6 attempts to respond. The floors and bathrooms were clean, but the house was pretty dusty. The outdoor areas were not clean. The TV did not work and we got 2 half empty toilet paper rolls for 5 adults for a 2 night stay.

A little dated and in need of a clean.

We stayed 2 nights in Lorne and was a little disappointed with the overall cleanliness amd presentation of the Bel Air. Cob webs in the showers, outdoor table had bird poop and tree litter on it. Had to make the beds and the linin is all fairly old and some was not as clean as it could have been. We had to be pretty vigilant in washing anything we used beforehand in the kitchen as most of the glasses and cutlery are pretty grimy. The first bedroom has a musty smell. With a spring clean and update this would be an amazing place. "No steep hills to climb" is a bit of a stretch. My dad who has had a hip replaced found the hill from town and also the very steep driveway and steps difficult. Apart from the hill the location was amazing!!! It was beautiful out on the balcony looking out over the trees and to the water. A little spruce and update would do wonders for this place.

Below the usual standard of Stayz

Our first experience was the lack of information provided by The property manager was that no access code was provided. Notwithstanding 4 emails we had to contact Stayz to get the manager to provide this information on the day we were to access the property. No apologies were forthcoming. The property was dirty. We had to hire linen and make our beds. Unfortunately the linen was stained and had to be replaced the following day. The bedding was stained and damaged. The whole house was unclean with spiders and spiders' webs everywhere. There were very little inclusions i.e. coffee, teas, soaps, shampoos, body wash, etc. Having spent the last 3 weeks travelling and staying in Stayz properties this property rates zero and falling.

Great location

Good stay. Given time of year could have had more kindling and firewood brought up to house. Linen would have been good to have been provided but we managed to BYO. Very close to shops and main strip. Would definitely stay again.

The perfect holiday house

We absolutely loved our stay and were so pleased with the set up of the house. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very tidy and we felt at home. The fire place was lovely and the spa bath was perfect for the chilly weather. We would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Lorne and it’s in a great location. The communication with the owners was great and they were really clear with all the information! Overall great experience and we would love to stay again!
