A wonderful surprise!

Our attentive but unobtrusive hosts Emma and Alf provided a wonderful escape away from the city. We booked not knowing the area at all (from the US), and from the moment we arrived, we felt transported to a quiet, calm, and peaceful retreat. The home has all we needed for our stay, except wifi, but we used a hotspot to get local info as we needed. The waves crashing, the birds— oh the wonderful birds! Surfers, cafes, and beach, will all be a lasting sweet memory for us. Beds were super comfy, including the pullout for our college age son, and we fought over who got to be chilling and napping on the daybed. Wish we could stay longer! We appreciate the hospitality and will cherish the photos!

Mini break

I had a 3 night mini break at the villa and it was very relaxing. Such a beautiful property and a great location. I just wanted to chill and do nothing for a few days. The owner was very friendly and accomodating. He did try to get the TV going was it didn't want to respond however. But I had a book so all was not lost!

Perfection.

Easy booking, lovely people, FABULOUS apartment with views of the sea from every room. These guys thought of everything, wine, a BBQ, a fire pit, and even binoculars to peer through as you relax on the day bed. The house is decorated and equipped to perfection. VERY comfortable bed and perfect shower too. Thank you so much Emma & Alf for the courtesy. What can I say? We will be back ASAP! ??????

Great view and perfect location

I loved our stay at Blue Seas. Emma and Alf were really easy to deal with and enjoyed the extra touch of vino and chocolates! The view was spectacular and liked we were up high. Curling up on the day bed reading my book while listening to the waves was a highlight. Quick 5 min walk down the hill and we were on the beach. The kids didn't complain once on the walk back up! Loved it. We'll be back.

Absolutely wonderful!

We three sisters wanted a beautiful relaxing retreat away and could not have found a better place! (2 of us had to share a queen bed but that was no problem). Amazing views, quirky and colourful mediterranean decor, a kind and friendly host who provided delightful treats throughout the weekend, and everything was clean and fresh and lovely. Perfect!!!

Blue Seas Villa, Avoca Beach

My partner & I had a much needed week of total rest at the Blue Seas Villa. We were delighted with the location with extraordinary views, and the general style & feel of the place. We also met the owner, Alf, who was absolutely delightful. He had left wine & chocolates, and made it really feel more like a home away from home rather than a rental property. We had two guests join us over the weekend; staying on the sofa bed. They too were so impressed with the property that they will most likely stay themselves. We will be returning without any question. John

A lovely stay.

Thanks to our hosts for a truly unique and charming property, full of love and creativity. The view is unbeatable and we three (one couple + teenage son) fitted in well, with plenty of special spots for reading and lounging (the only thing we wanted to do when not at the beach). The kitchenette is small but it was adequate for our needs. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches eg first aid kit (which we needed after a cycling accident!) and umbrella (for the one rainy day). Not to mention all absolutely pristine. Avoca is a lovely spot and this is a lovely spot in Avoca. (We stayed in Jan 2016, but the drop down menu only goes as far as 2015!)

Misleading and over rated one bedroom granny flat!

Where do I start. After paying good money for a 4 night stay for 4 people we had the most uncomfortable stay ever experienced to the point that it ruined our holiday. * Only one old towel per person for 4 days. * Old and uncomfortable sofa bed in with the small kitchenette! * Had to sleep with no block out blinds in an east facing room and next to a noisy and dodgy old fridge that turned itself off leaving our food to go warm. * Only 2 dining chairs and no room to move in the small living dining area. * An old filthy grass mat that would have been used repeatedly in the bathroom and full of germs! * Plates cracked and mismatched cutlery provided was barely enough for 4 people. * Nosey owner upstairs and visited without notice. * Harassed for balance of payment and received a cold text at 10pm on Christmas day to vacate by 10.30 the following morning. * Falsified reviews with any constructive/negative feedback ripped out of the guest book.

Best beach view stay we have ever experienced

Stayed in the Greek Villa. Incredible panoramic views from every room. Watched the sun rise over the Pacific Ocean from the comfort of our bed - unforgettable! Beautifully furnished in white and blue with unique pieces of artwork. Large, bright, clean and homely with lots of gorgeous areas to relax and dine - indoors and on the balconies. Access to beautifully manicured gardens and BBQ area. Walking distance to beach and restaurants, though we wanted to spend most of our time in the villa as it was so lovely. Friendly, helpful owner. Perfect for a couple getaway. Felt a bit like Greece, a bit like Bali, a bit like Monte Carlo, a lot like home and totally like Paradise! Unique experience, don't hesitate - book it!

Wonderful

I was looking fro a place to stay in Avoca at the last minute and within 10 minutes of enquiring online Emma had called me and organised my stay. Within an hour we were settled into this beautiful Villa and couldn't have been happier. We had fantastic weather but I would be happy to visit on a cold rainy weekend. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer than 2 nights. Convenient (close to shops and beaches including Copacabana and McMasters), comfortable and very relaxing.

A great escape

This is the second time I have stayed at Blue Seas Villas. The first time with friends and this time as a solo escape. I love the location, the views, the hospitality and being able to watch the sunrise over the ocean from bed and the moon rise brightly at night. It provided good inspiration for my creative ventures. Majic place

We recently spent the weekend at the Greek Villa and recommend it highly.The owner,Adolph is an incredibly charismatic man with a happy, wicked sense of humour that we loved.He has created a wonderful retreat decorated with beautiful vibrant colours and a lot of his own creative pieces.The decor is very comfy with heaps of ambience and is utterly charming,the sort of space that you want to spend lots of time in,which we did.The first night we walked down the hill and ate out but we loved the villa and really wanted to be there as much as possible so the next night we cracked open a bottle of wine,had chinese delivered and ate at the little table at the window with the sound of the waves crashing on the beach-pure bliss ! We had to tear ourselves awaywhen we left as it was the perfect place to chill and recharge the batteries.

Beautiful and Serene

One of my favourite places in Australia. The Greek villa exceeded my expectation and I felt like I belonged. A magical five days spent with my husband and two sons ( 18 and 3).  The views are magnificent and so inviting. The villa itself is gorgeous and full of Art Deco made by the lovely owner himself. Alf and Emma are friendly and make you feel welcome at the first point of call.   Highly recommended for everyone a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing holiday haven.

My partner and I have stayed at Blue Seas Villa twice now and it's a really special place. It's so peaceful, with stunning views down to the ocean and Avoca Beach. The villa is beautifully furnished and has air con/heating so is great for all seasons. There is a kitchenette which allows you to eat in, or there are a number of restaurants within a short walk to enjoy. It's a great place for a couple to escape from the city and stresses of everyday life.
