Tydes - Take time out relaxing by the river

TAKE TIME OUT AT TYDES !

This unique waterfront family holiday home has everything and more for you to enjoy a fantastic getaway.
This large spacious open plan house sleeps up to 6 adults plus children, ideal for sharing with family and friends.
Bring your own boat or enjoy the supplied row boat and kayaks.
With amusement machines, pool table and table tennis on-site you won't need to find something to do if the weather's not ideal.
If you do go out, located 5 mins drive is the Tuggerah Westfield Shopping Centre with its cinema complex, DJ's, Target and Woolworths.
Just around the corner are the local shops with Coles, chemist, post office and tavern.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT:
While the standard check-in time is 4.00pm and check-out is 11.00am I am always happy to offer earlier check-ins and later check-outs where possible. This is especially significant for weekend bookings where my regular check-out time is 4.00pm on the Sunday (or Monday).

ACCOMMODATION:
Tydes has 3 bedrooms and is ideally suited for up to 6 adults and 2 children.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed
The 2nd Bedroom is a large "family-friendly" room with a queen bed plus a double fold-out sofa bed.
The 3rd bedroom contains 2 single beds.

All 3 bedrooms are located upstairs.
Also upstairs is the main bathroom (with bath, shower, toilet), and there is also a separate toilet adjoining the main bathroom.
There's another toilet & shower downstairs.

Please note that as Tydes has only 3 bedrooms it is not suitable for more than 6 adults.

Everything you could want in a holiday house and more.

This is an amazing property right on the water. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking right from the backyard. Our kids enjoyed the two wonderful games rooms. Chris, the owner, answered all our questions and offered early check in and check out (which we glad fully accepted). We loved the opportunity to have our dog with us as well.

Excellent Property!

We were staying 7 Jan - 13 Jan 2018 (4 adults, 1 child of 11 years old and two small Chihuahuas) in Tydes house and couldn’t be happier. The house was spacious and had everything!! You would only have to bring clothes, food and beach towels – everything else was provided. The house included a den that was great for entertainment, which included wifi, Foxtel, music system, fishing rods, table tennis, pool table, bikes and a few arcade type games that were a hit with the kids. The teenagers went kayaking, bike riding and fishing (no luck with fishing, unfortunately). There is a Westfield Tuggerah shopping center, a small shopping corner with Coles, pizza, Aust Post, bottle shop etc that was only a 15 min walk. The backyard was huge with dining table and BBQ, and of course, the lake. I could not get enough of it, as well as our two dogs. I highly recommend this house. Thank you, Chris, for your hospitality.

Excellent Family Friendly Property

Our family absolutely loved staying here including our dog! It has absolutely everything for everyone at any age, with plenty of room. We enjoyed relaxing in the backyard while throwing in a line or two. Our family will definitely be staying here again!

Amazingly well equipped and maintained property

We chose this property because it was close to my parents who wanted to host Christmas but were very impressed with how well maintained this property was (they even provided a large, fully decorated Christmas tree). The house was spotless and the bed linen in the master bedroom was brand new. Even a slightly cool and overcast Christmas Day was no problem in this place with kayaks, pool & ping pong tables, arcade games, fishing gear, a bbq. There are plenty of places big enough for groups to gather, and also spots to get away and relax quietly. The internet also worked perfectly (essential for teenagers). The negatives - none really but the cicadas are really loud this year!

Terrific for families

A spacious and well appointed holiday house. Of particular interest to my teenage children were the two games rooms and the pinball machine was a particular favourite. About 15 minutes from Shelley Beach and another 5 mins to The Entrance. Would definitely consider staying again.

Fantastic property

We had a wonderful stay at Tydes. So happy we found your accomodation. With 2 young adult children, spending quality family time doing something that suits us all (plus 2 dogs) is not always easy. Tydes is perfect because you offer so much to entertain indoors or on the river. We all loved our stay and all look forward to making it our regular place to enjoy family time together. One hour from Sydney, a million miles from care

My family and I (plus dog) enjoyed our short stay at Tydes. Its ample space and so many choices of activities had us forgetting all our worries and enjoying time together. We made great use of the provided kayaks/rowboat and games room and our dog enjoyed the chance to run around the fenced back yard and explore Ourimbah Creek with us. Our group of impatient fishermen even managed to catch a decent sized fish from the back dock. Would recommend Tydes for any family or group looking to escape the rat race.

Fantastic place to unwind

This place was amazing! So much to do, and excellent facilities. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. You can tell that a lot of love and care has gone into this house, and the experience for its guests. It's difficult to get bored here, but very easy to relax. We will surely stay here again.

Excellent property with everything you need!

We had a short but wonderful stay at Tydes. The house is large, bright and airy and had everything we needed for our stay and more. The beds are so comfortable (hotel quality) and the backyard, right down to the river, is peaceful and serene. We hardly saw the kids as there was so much for them to do in the two games rooms and we all had a ball rowing on the river and fishing. To top it off, Chris was extremely helpful and accomodating. We will be back!

great place with loads to do

Our family had a great weekend at Tydes and enjoyed all the extras that the house had - the games were winners and the backyard was lovely and so peaceful. We were able to entertain the kids and the parents enjoyed themselves just as much! We will be back, thanks Chris :)

Outstanding River Getaway!

This property has it all! Tydes is beautifully presented and is immaculate. The cleanest property we've stayed in to date.....and we've stayed in many. Everything in the house has been well thought out. There really is something for everyone, rain, hail or shine at Tydes. The games room was a big hit - arcade machines, pool table, ping pong, darts, and bar area. The garage was well stocked with bikes, kayaks and fishing rods (yes we did catch fish from the front yard (the raw chicken hint worked a treat). The view is very pleasant, the area is very peaceful and the gardens are lovely - ideal for a BBQ. Bedroom layout is separate from the rest of the living areas and very comfortably accommodated our party of 6 adults and 1 child. Chris, you really have an amazing property! The only downside in writing this review is I hope you don't become so overbooked that you can't squeeze us in for another visit. We highly recommend Tydes at Chittaway Bay!

Wonderfull getaway

Great garden and access to the river

One of the best things about this property was being able to easily get into a kayak and paddle away - fabulous. Great also to have a lush garden to sit in to view the river and bird life. Brilliant selection of activities when it was raining or just to get out of the humidity - pool and table tennis, darts even a pinball machine! as well as Foxtel to catch up with movies. Love this area and Chris was great to deal with. Highly recommended.

Great holiday house

We loved our week at Tydes. Our teenagers loved the Games room, the dogs loved a dip in the creek and we all loved lazily kayaking along the creek - all from our back yard! The air conditioning and foxtel were great for the really hot days this week too!
