Please note: Our rental schedule is set to the schedules of the two local baseball parks in the area, Cooperstown All-Star Village and Cooperstown Dreams Park. They are six-day tournaments. Our calendar is set up in six-day intervals to go along with the baseball parks.
From the moment your car turns off the main road, you will find yourself secluded and enveloped in nature. Enjoy 200+' of water-front property on Goodyear Lake near Cooperstown, NY. This brand new house completed for the 2021 rental season is located 10 miles (Easy 15 min. drive) from Dreams Park in Cooperstown and 13 miles (Easy 18 min. drive) to The All-Star Village in Oneonta. The area is a favorite for families coming to Cooperstown for these two attractions.

Cancellation Policy: If we receive a cancellation notice 90 days or more prior to the arrival date, the rental payment will be refunded, less $300. If we receive a cancellation notice less than 90 days prior to the arrival date, there will be no refund.

Great Lake House

This was a perfect spot for parents of players at the local baseball tourneys. Plenty of space and only about 15 minutes from the facilities. Really beautiful home.

Wonderful House- cozy

We had a great time at this house. Had everything we needed. Location perfect for Cooperstown dreams park and a nice get away from park when needed. Couches were super cozy. Kitchen great although we didn’t use a whole lot! Thanks again!!

Great house and great location

The house was amazing and had everything we needed. It was close and direct to All Star village. The owner was very responsive. I have already recommended the house to a few more people going to Cooperstown for baseball next summer

Amazing House!

We had an excellent stay! Everything felt so clean and updated, and the kitchen had all supplies to make home cooked meals. We didn’t get to spend as much time in the house as we would have liked thanks to the CASV schedule. But it always felt like a retreat going back each night but still close enough to the Village. Don’t hesitate to book!

Away from the hectic ballpark

We had a great time here! Our son was playing at Cooperstown and we didn’t want to stay right there. The pictures and descriptions are very accurate. It was nice to come back from long stretches at the fields to relax before going back. It has a lot of food, gas, coffee, bjs, Walmart like 20 mins away. The park is 15 mins away. I have a 7 and 9 year old. My 7 year old has some health challenges, the hike up from the water was a lot. It definitely isn’t a light walk up. We enjoyed the canoe! The boys were hoping to go swimming but it was very slippery looking on the rocks at the shore and there wasn’t a way to get up onto the dock. So if you are planning on swimming make sure you bring water shoes. We aren’t a family that closes our doors to sleep, but if you do bring a fan, the ductless split for air conditioning is in the downstairs hall and if you close the doors it will get a little stuffy. We didn’t have a problem(we enjoyed the AC), but just helping others to plan. We would absolutely rent again if we were to come back!!

Great Location near Cooperstown Dream Park

The house itself was great in many ways. It was fully stocked with everything we needed which was great! And was also very clean! We were not there much to fully utilize the Viking range in the kitchen or grill out on the deck. My husband and son were able to get a little fishing in off the dock to help pass a little time away before heading to the ball fields. A few cons of the home was that 3 rooms were in the basement. It was cold and damp. There were no dressers and only a few hangers. Some area rugs would be nice on the cold hard floors as well. We felt like we had to wear our shoes the entire time. The major issue we had with the home was the grossly awful smell of the water. It was hard to brush our teeth and had to use bottle water to do so. The scent of rotten eggs just permeated the bathrooms during a shower as well. For $500 per night we would suggest a water softener or treat the water/well to avoid such a distasteful odor. Would we stay again? Probably not. Again, although the home was lovely with amenities, we weren’t aware that majority of the rooms were in a basement and the order of the water was unbearable.

Baseball Family Stay

Wonderful lake front cabin close to All Star Village. Our family really enjoyed our stay. The home is open, bright and has a very cool rustic feel. Kitchen was awesome and open to the main living area. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, especially the upstairs loft bedroom! Would definitely recommend this home. The only suggestion I would have for the owners is to trim the trees to allow for a more amazing view of the lake through the huge windows and from the deck

Cooperstown Group Trip

The property is updated and clean!! Just about 20 min from ASV (which is typical for any house rental) and a gem. Honestly, many other properties are old but this is a rare find. Property manager Issy was outstanding with communication and her responses to our needs. At one point during our stay, we realized we didn’t have a spatula for flipping eggs, so Issy left two on our front porch the same day. We have done many rentals in our past and realize this is rare! Loved the house - just wish we had more free time to fully enjoy it! Thank you for all you did!!

New and clean house!

We just stayed at the house while our son played in the All Star Village tournament. House was recently built and well equipped. Great place to stay for a relaxing family trip and the drive to All Star Village is very easy. The owner, Issy, responded to any questions I had very quickly and was pleasant to deal with. Only recommendation if staying at the house would be to bring your own bath towels with you. Towels provided at the house are very small and thin. Perhaps an easy upgrade for the owners moving forward.

One Word: Gorgeous

If you're reading this review, hurry up and book this property now! You won't be disappointed. The only thing not perfectly captured in the owners' description is just how unique this house is and how stunning the grounds are. The drive up Bob Wilson Road alone is picturesque and then upon arrival, you'll love the view and walk down to the serene lake. Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the large deck overlooking the lake were amazing. The house is warm, inviting, modern and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and the kitchen/dining area/great room are perfect for family game nights and gathering for meals. The owner was wonderful to work with and if you're coming for baseball, it's an easy 18-20 minute drive over to CASV. Truly, we cannot say enough good things about Timber Lodge.

Baseball Stay

This property was fantastic for our stay during our All Star Village baseball tournament week. Check-in/Check-out was super easy. The home was beautifully appointed and fit two families (4 adults + 3 kids) perfectly. The house is about 15 minutes from ASV so convenient from that perspective. The location is just as advertised, right on Goodyear Lake with a small dock and canoe for visitor use. We loved the place and hope to book again when we visit ASV with our younger son in 2024! Thanks to the Issy and Jamie for their hospitality.

Great place to relax

My wife and two kids enjoyed our stay here with my sister and her husband. The owner checked in with us during our stay and made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. From coffee on the dock to fishing and swimming with our girls, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this one of a kind home.

Beautiful Property to Relax While Enjoying All Star Village Experience

Shared this gorgeous property with another family. It gave us the "get away/ vacation feel" while our kids played ball at All Star Village. Even when the kids stayed with us a few nights, it provided plenty of room. Location is about halfway between All Star Village and the Hall of Fame and was an easy drive to and from both places. House provided all the amenities we needed. Communication with owner was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Lake house nestled in the woods

Loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again!! The drive up to the lake house through the woods with the sun peaking through is serene. The driveway fit three SUV's very comfortably. The inside is just as pictured. The basement has three bedrooms, two with queen size beds and one with two twin beds. Our girls enjoyed the twin bed room. We brought a twin air mattress that fit comfortably in that room for all three girls to sleep together. There is a full bathroom downstairs. There is a washer and dryer too!! There is plenty of space upstairs and highly recommend utilizing the kitchen. We cooked almost every night and had enough cookware to accomplish some delicious meals. We did leave some spices for future guests to enjoy!! There is just a Keurig coffee machine so we purchased a drip coffee machine to make more coffee in the am. There were a few paper towels, garbage bags, kitchen soap and pump hand soap. We only needed to purchase more paper towels for the week. There were also sandwich bags, aluminum foil and saran wrap. If you desire to cook, would recommend bringing any wanted spices along with cooking oil or cooking spray. There is a full bathroom on the main level as well. The master bedroom was a perfect size with a full bathroom and the overlook to the main living room was unique. The Lake house fits 8-10 people very comfortably. We utilized the back porch and the dock. The dock has a built staircase making access easy and safe. The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and utilizing the canoe in the lake. The Lake is small but perfect for a kayak or a canoe. There is not much space for outdoor activities, but we did utilize the front of the house on the gravel driveway for Can-Jam. Our boys and husbands stayed at All Star Village. It was only an 18 minute drive to All Star Village and the Lake house is only a few minutes to the thruway. This made travel back and forth VERY convenient, especially with constant schedule changes and rain delays. I can appreciate this VRBO not allowing any team parties and personally think it would be difficult as there is not a lot of space for boys to run around. Our team arranged for a team dinner at Pizza 23 West and would highly recommend this for any team!! Overall, would absolutely recommend this location to anyone traveling to Cooperstown for the baseball tournament. Loved how the owners even left a shadow box for our team to leave a trading pin!!

Great Cooperstown Stay!

We recently stayed here with family for our games at ASV and we had the best time! Super clean, quiet location, fun lake access. Perfect for a family and only about 12 minutes from the fields!

Why they chose this property

-One of the reasons we chose to build on this site is because it is very close to the water - and we've also dreamed of owning a waterfront property.
-Goodyear Lake appealed to us because it's picturesque 344 acre lake, not extremely active (there is no public launch) and is very quiet and relaxing.
-We choose the Cooperstown area-not only because of its location to the baseball hall of fame, but also because of the many other features, it has to offer. Within a short distance, there are several shops, restaurants, parks, and hiking/outdoor recreation facilities.
