Why choose The Breakers?
Location, location, location! The Breakers is a 120 unit complex right on the beach at beautiful Hilton Head Island. It has a heated pool (as needed March - November); there is also a separate children's pool (unheated). There is wireless internet access and cable television. It is directly across the street from Coligny Plaza with its variety of shops and restaurants - so a very short walk to restaurants, shops, a cinema, a grocery store, a coffee shop and several ice cream stores. You can leave your car in the parking lot for your entire vacation and walk or bike everywhere you want to go.
Why choose this unit?
The location offers a wonderful view of both the pool and the ocean. Breakers 226 is directly in the ''center of the horseshoe''. The quality furnishings and lovely beach decor make this unit a great choice. There are beach chairs for guests to use.
We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen. There are tile floors and granite countertops. The bedroom and living room are carpeted.
There is a HEPA air filter that is supposed to catch dust, pollen, allergens and even the COVID-19 virus.
Please Note -
The Breakers units are small - 518 square feet - so they are best for a couple or a family with small children. There is a queen sized-bed in the bedroom, children's bunkbeds in a cubby in the hall (kids LOVE these!) and a very comfortable queen sized pull-out couch.
The kitchen has a refrigerator (with icemaker), dishwasher, stove, convection oven/microwave, blender, crock pot and coffee maker (standard and KCup). There is a stackable washer and dryer.
The complex does not allow pets or grilling. There is no smoking in the Breakers' common areas - including the pool. This villa is non-smoking (including the balcony); sadly other units do allow smoking on balconies.
You must be 25 years old to rent.
Finally, there are now 2 elevators at The Breakers!!!!
There is cable TV in the living room and bedroom but there is no landline telephone service. Our cell phones work great in the unit; yours should too. We offer wireless internet access.
Finally...
Cleaning is included in the rates but 11% South Carolina taxes are not. VRBO/Homeaway is now charging a service fee.
One parking pass is issued for each stay. No boat and trailer parking. Check-in time is 4:00 PM; check-out time is 10:00 AM.

Note - a national pest control company sprays the whole Breakers complex the second Monday of each month. They do come inside the units to spray.
