I’m a senior lady on my own. This accommodation gave me security and yet was peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful walks be it to the shops the Manly ferry or spectacular coastal walks. An added bonus of a free bus to most areas close by.
Dean the host was at hand for any questions and knowledge of the area.
A clean and well equipped garden flat!
Comfortable and warm in spite of the rain. Regrettable that there was no oven. A halogen oven would be ideal! Light and with some character. Helpful proprietor
In a good location for Manly and the ferry with good exercise up and down a steep hill.
It would have been nice to have meet the owner face to face rather than speaking on the phone which I initiated on two occasions.

Great position close to wharf
Good value for money and situated to Manly wharf. Dean was so friendly and provided us with lots of info on best places to eat and walk. Highly recommend
We enjoyed two nights at this property and Dean our host had thought of all the basics we might need. It was beautifully clean and comfy; gave us a safe park for our car; quietness at night and the perfect location, it being just a 15 minute walk straight down to all that Manly has to offer, including the ferry to the City. A bonus were the beautiful Art-Deco windows through which we enjoyed sunset skies and bird life.
The property is a bit tired, and the construction noise from next door could be a problem for some. That being said, it’s a good studio with adequate supplies. The owner has great communication. It’s easy to get to and a good place just outside the city to visit.
Wonderful Rental right in the Heart of Manly Beach.
The rental is within minutes walking distance from Manly Beach and suited my needs perfectly. It's kept very clean, has a nice garden and a good size Kitchen for all your cooking needs. It's very roomy with a comfortable bed and bath, and a good size TV. I want to acknowledge in particular the Host of the Property, Dean Olsen. I've been doing property rentals from Verbo and Home Away off and on for ten years. Never in those years have I found a host more responsive to my needs. He's extremely personable and gave me some wonderful suggestions on things to do while I was there that met my interests. He was quick to respond to anything I asked of him and he ensure the rental space remained spotlessly clean. I cannot highly recommend this property enough.

A hidden gem in Manly! Perfect for beach getaway, swim, eat, drink and be merry. Will definitely be back to do all over again.
I was traveling on a father-daughter trip (12 yrs old) and was looking for a place near the beach with a kitchen and off-street parking. This property was perfect. It's clean and bright/sunny with lots of windows. Its tucked away towards the back of the building (with a long driveway) - so lots of privacy from the street. Its laid out as a studio (1 large room, with the kitchen on one end, a dinette table and couch, and then a bed at the other end near the bathroom). The offstreet parking was very helpful and it was only a 10min walk to the ferry (to get into Sydney) and Manly beach. Our host, Dan was amazing. Very responsive (reponds in minutes or an hour at most), and takes care of every request. He was able to allow us to check-in early - which was nice since our flight arrived at 8:30 AM - and it was nice to be able to freshen-up/shower when we got to the property at around 11 AM. Also, at some point I was looking for a can opener and sent a message asking Dan if he had one. Next thing I knew, when we came back a few hours later, there was a brand new one waiting for us on the patio table by the front door! (I really wasnt expecting that!). Dan goes out of his way to accommodate. Absolutely would stay here again!

Owner Dean is a great communicator and made the check in seamless as we were later than expected. We took the Ferry and walked the 400m to the apartment. The last 100m is an uphill challenge, the unfit or elderly may struggle with, but there's an onsite parking option right outside the front door after you come thru the Gothic gates with the 'Sphinxes' on each gatepost.
There have been layout changes internally from the advertised photo and Dean advises that there are more, much needed reno's happening at the end of November 2024.
Excellent location close to Manly Wharf eateries and within an easy downhill walk to the Corso and its many casual and upmarket eateries, then onto the Manly Beach boardwalk.
Looking forward to the upgradeas we will be back in a few months
The apartment is light and really well appointed and has everything you would need. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Easy walk down to Manly wharf and shops. Would def recommend
