A short stroll only two minutes away is Four Mile Beach. A ten minute walk to the centre of Port Douglas for shopping or dinner. The villa has a private heated pool and has a large timber deck for relaxing on the lounges. The kitchen has folding windows, to serve direct from the kitchen.

The main bedroom with a large ensuite and walk in robe has it's own balcony. The main bedroom is located upstairs, so provides total privacy from the other two downstairs bedrooms. The second and third bedrooms are downstairs. Also with a second bathroom, separate toilet, laundry and lock up garage. Also a security gate from the street provides peace of mind to the six villas.

Port Douglas

Port Douglas is located less than an hours drive from Cairns International Airport by bus or private rental car. Driving from Cairns to Port Douglas is one of Australia's most scenic coastal roads. Port Douglas is the ideal holiday location to relax and escape the hectic city life. Beach villa 6 has beach access to The golden sands of the unspoilt Four Mile beach with a short stroll to the restaurants, cafes and shops of Port Douglas.

Port Douglas is a relaxed town with great food, wine and cafes and a base to plan your fishing adventures or other activities including tennis and golf. Revitalize yourself and enjoy the beautiful Four Mile beach and then cruise down Macrossan street and enjoy the shopping. Every Sunday morning there is a wonderful crafts market on the Esplanade.

For dining, there's plenty of options Melaleuca, Salsa, Zinc and also great pub meals at the Court House and Colonial Hotels.

Port Douglas is the closest mainland port to the Great Barrier Reef and an hours drive to the spectacular Daintree rainforest and a bit further to Cape Tribulation. Nearby to Port Douglas is Mossman, a spectacular freshwater swimming hole where you can experience the local culture and explore the Daintree rainforest.

Port Douglas is also where various private and commercial day trips depart for fishing, diving or lazy daysat the nearby Barrier reef/Low Isles beaches.

Good but not great

Pool area took an hour each day to clean up ready for use due to overhanging tress dumping leaves into the pool. I don't think it has been cleaned prior to us truing up as there were a lot of leaves and debris in the bottom of the pool also. Pool towels had stains all over them. Otherwise, quiet spot, very close to 4-mile beach and in a good location.

Great Holiday Home

We are a family of 5, we loved the space in the home plus the private pool and BBQ were fabulous. A short walk to the beach and a few restaurants. We will definitely be back! Well stocked with every day essentials too was a great bonus.

Very nice 3 bedroom, 2 storey villa, hop, skip and jump to beach. Lovely upmarket area. Pool is a good sized plunge pool, water is light aquamarine colour, solar heated. A lot of leaves from overhanging gum leaves but owner will call pool cleaner to remove if they get too much. Water pressure in bathrooms was excellent. Lots of pantry supplies, books, and lock up bicycles. A little bit too far to walk to main street for us. Overall a very nice stay. Owner was very communicative if any issues arose. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location and pool

Sally’s place was the best place we’ve stayed in Port Douglas! The location was great - a two minute walk to 4 mile beach and about 10mins (easy walk) to the Main Street. The pool was super - 28 degrees just like Sally said it would be. Parents bedroom was upstairs with an ensuite and kids bedrooms were downstairs. Enough space and privacy for everyone. Kitchen was well set up. We had SO much fun in this house.

Great place in convenient location

The villa was conveniently located with great facilities. The photos online don’t do it justice- it is more spacious than it appears online. Only drawback is the tight turning circle in/out of garage if you have a large car/suv. In any case I would definitely recommend.

Prefect break from cold & wet UK

The property was fully up to the standard as expected. Air conditioning and fans worked and the pool was clean and maintained. We were there for 3 weeks and Sally ensured that the laundry was looked after. Sally was a great host who was able to give advice on our queries about a nephew driving up from Brisbane with a small motorboat. It was was the perfect space for us, and an adult nephew. We arrived shortly after the cyclone had been through so there was some localised damage to the local road network. But this is the tropics so you need to expect high temperatures and high humidity in January. Hence the air conditioning! The location is great for a short walk up the road to the centre of town either along the very quiet road or along the beach. Past a Surfy bar and the jellyfish netted off swimming area. Plenty of walkable places to eat and drink in town but our best find was the Tin Shed. Community run with very good food and superb views out to the Coral Sea. It made economic sense to us to become members even for a few weeks. Also our old favorites Lady Douglas, reef trips, Huntley Crocs and a fishing trip up the estuary, even spotting a salty croc. New for us this time was the Wildlife Habitat centre. Do not know how we missed it before but really good walk-through. All in all great area to visit with lots to do and Sally's place was perfect.

Needs a little tlc

House had everything needed to enjoy our time away. However had problems with the pool filter, 2 days without a filter meaning pool full of leaves. Back door very hard to open. Overall was a fairly relaxing time away

A Wonderful Villa

This was a wonderful villa situated close by to the Main Street and Barry a 1 minute walk to the beach. We loved the kitchen windows that opened up in to a bar - not quite a swim up bar but the next best thing :) the villa was clean, airy, large and well considered.

Great house in a beatiful location

This is a lovely home , very well appointed in a great location close to 4 mile beach and shopping. The private heated swimming pool is excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Winter break

We had a restorative 5 days at beach villas. Proximity to beach and town were excellent. The heated pool meant we swam each day. Kitchen a bit old now but clean and with everything we needed. The upstairs bedroom gave us some separation from our young adult children. The addition of bikes gave our teenager additional freedom. Beautiful environment. Friendly communication from Sally. The only hiccups were delayed email instructions which may have been an inbox problem and managing the gate entry to the complex. We would stay again!

Relaxing and private.

A house with all you need for a relaxing tropical getaway. Close to everything Port Douglas has to offer. The pool is great and there’s plenty of room for multiple cooks in the kitchen if that’s your thing. The house was very clean and the beds are comfortable too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A home away from home

Check in was smooth and as described. Sally provided us with all the information prior and we could just settle in and take it from there. Pool and outdoor area was a favorite of our kids. Kitchen is equipped with everything you can think off. Neighborhood is quiet but close enough to Port Douglas to enjoy the local restaurants and beaches. We had the best time.

Private pool is a winner

Great experience staying at the villa, we loved our stay and would return again. Very convenient location with the beach and shops both a short walk. The villa is well equipped and we spent so much time in the pool with the weather being so hot. Requested the king bed split into 2 singles which didn’t happen so kids shared the small room. We were able to have a later check out which made our last day easier, thanks to Sally for being so accommodating.

Perfect for our family

Just stayed for one week with our children including young toddler. The house was brilliantly set up for us in every way with loads of games, pool toys, beach toys etc for the kids. And everything we could need for our toddler. Kitchen and bbq are very well set up and we appreciated the house having plenty of the basics like paper towel, dishwasher tablets, washing powder etc. The pool is beautiful and such a nice setting under the trees with bird life and afternoon shade. We were able to relax completely while our older kids spent hours in the pool. Super convenient location, it really is only 2 mins to the beach and 10 mins (if that) to Macrossan Street. We didn’t even use the bikes because walking was so convenient. Communication with Sally was terrific. Thanks!

Perfect All Rounder

Location is great. 2 min walk to beach, 10 min walk to shops and restaurants. Close enough to everything but away far enough it's not noisy. Communication and check in was easy.

Excellent stay, great with a toddler!

Brilliant stay, villa has everything you need, particularly with a toddler. Pool toys, beach towels, a high chair, cot, pram and even baby gates for the stairs made for a great stay. Lots of thoughtful touches. Kitchen really well set up, great location, so close to the beach, short walk to the shops and close to the surf club for meals and drinks.

Brilliant Location

Location is fantastic, some initial issues were disappointing. Sally was excellent in her communication and trying to correct problems. The Villa has all that's needed for a great week to explore Port Douglas.
