Developed and designed in the 1800s by the Baroness de Pontalba, who was dubbed one of the most dynamic personalities in the city's history, this beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo highlights the authentic New Orleans character. We are centrally located, making it ideal for vacation renters looking to be apart of our beautiful city for a couple days. We are close to all of New Orleans attractions: Cafes, Restaurants, Jackson Square, Bourbon Street and upscale nightlife. Parking is available all around the neighborhood.

Bringing in 40 in Nola!

Came in as two couples for a bday weekend! The property is clean, safe, updated, cozy and perfectly located. Access to all things French Quarter are literally within walking distance including grocery, restaurants, bars and shopping. The rooms are nice, the bathrooms are clean and the beds are super comfy! My only advice to anyone staying in downtown Nola not just here, bring ear plugs to sleep b/c the location is in the middle of the action (party people, boats, trains, work vehicles, and cars). We would 100% stay here again!

Great location in the French Quarter. Comfy beds with a cozy living room. Only downside was the street noise and sirens but that is what you get in the Quarter. We had a great time and would stay there again!!

Great weekend in NOLA

Our long weekend in NOLA was amazing and this place was close to everything! The property was clean and well maintained. Had a minor issue with gaining access when we first arrived, but no problems after that. The street noise was loud, but I expected as much staying right in the heart of the city. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the property and found the representation of the property to be accurate. I am probably just old school but enjoy the personal touch of being met and greeted by the host. Less efficient, time consuming and sometimes a pain but what great customer service. Thank you for this option and opportunity.

Clean modern condo in a great location

We had a great stay. The condo is just as pictured and the location is a quick walk to anywhere you want to go in the French Quarter. I would highly recommend.

Great stay! Can be a bit loud but I'm sure that's part of the French Quarter atmosphere. My only confusion was with the check-in process as I did not receive the check-in email until the day after I checked in. However, it was very easy to find the contact info and Jessica responded to my phone call immediately and allowed us to check in early as our plane had landed at noon. Nice, clean apartment. I would recommend.

Had a great stay. The host was amazingly accommodating for our group. I would say honestly, location was a bit noisier than we expected. But overall everything was great.

Does not sleep 6 people and smells like smoke.

Unfortunately, the residence is located right next to a cigar shop. Which means that all of the smoke from there incorporates the property. This was one of the first things we noticed as coming into the property. The residence was furnished nicely with an updated kitchen and bathroom fixtures. The bathroom in the main/master bedroom had black mold in the shower the shower lights around the mold did not work. Also, the door to the bathroom would not close. We had to hold the door closed in the master bedroom bathroom with our suitcase. It was also noted by our guests that the spare bathroom light flickered or turned off, making it hard to shower or use the facilities. For the money we paid and the amenities that were said to be provided, we think that this establishment was not on par with what was listed and fell short of describing the property fully to what we experienced. It clearly stated that the residence slept six people, this is not the case. It had a king bed, a queen bed, and a tiny couch (loveseat) that was not capable of sleeping anyone but a child. My sister had to sleep on the tiny couch and put a chair next to it to put her legs and feet on. This is unacceptable to pay for accommodations that were said to be provided that we do not have. Also, the TVs in both bedrooms did not work, and the main tv only showed local channels. I tried to connect with my subscriptions to the smart TV but the internet would not allow. Not what we thought we were getting!

Good but some flaws

Great location close to all the action. Property manager made getting in the condo super simple. Some issues were the black mold in the master bathroom shower, the tv in the other bedroom is broken and falling off the wall. There were lights hanging from the ceiling by wires. The master bathroom door also doesn’t close.

NOLA in January

We loved The Rousseau! So convenient to Jackson Square, restaurants, and shopping. The unit was airy and very comfortable. We plan to return!
