The house was clean and beautifully set up for a great vacation! Fishing was a little rough but we landed enough to have a good meal. Overall my wife and I had a nice, relaxing lake home vacation.

Stay on Moose Lake

The accomdations were delightful. The house was well appointed and contained everything we needed for the week. The only issue we encountered was slow internet. Most of us were not affected but one person had some on line work to do and he had problems. Not much the hosts can do. But potential guests should be aware.

Remote Cabin in the Woods

The cabin was beautiful and full of amenities. There was even a basket of toys in a play area for our kids. We had a nice paddle on the kayaks and kept our pontoon at the dock. It's a hike into town. The beds were big, soft, and comfortable. The closets were big.

Moose lake stay

Your property offered something great for every age group. We had some fishermen, some chefs, some young teens and one invalid (me). We were all pleasantly surprised how convenient and how well we fit into the property. We had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing vacation. We used everything available to us and played lots of pool.

Family Vacation

Property was clean and warmly decorated- very much a Northwoods vibe! The owner was responsive to questions prior to our stay. There were some nice amenities- kayaks, rowboat, games, toys, etc. All the kids, young and old, loved the lily pad and we enjoyed watching the sunsets from the dock! There was definitely enough room for our big family. The property was a little farther from Hayward than we would have liked & the Wi-Fi a bit slow, but overall it was quiet and relaxing!

Quiet & remote with beautiful lake views

He house was very clean and comfortable with many amenities-kayaks, row boat, pool table, foosball table, poker table, grill, fire pit, and a dock. There was so much to do even on a rainy day. Our only disappointment was that we have a bigger pontoon boat and the dock was not big enough for it. From the pictures it appeared we would be fine. Great stay!

Remote and peaceful

It was a great stay, not a busy area and access to shopping is about 30-40 minutes away. There are great places to eat and fun activities in town, as well as lots of local boat rentals if you want to sit out on the lake and enjoy.

We were blown away when we arrived. The house is beautiful & the location & view even more. Tranquil, calming, & quiet place where you hear the loons on the water and an occasional fishing boat off in the distance. We made this our headquarters so we could go into Hayward for the day & also for the lumberjack world championship. I recommend this place to anyone who would like the experience we had.

Fish Haven Stay

We had a fabulous stay at this home. We had two families of four with kids ages 2-9. There was more than enough space for all of us and plenty of activities available for the kids to do at the house. We enjoyed fishing and using the provided kayaks and paddle boat. The pool table was a hit and we enjoyed the outdoor space in the back to relax and for the kids to ride their bikes and play outdoor games. We had a great time with our utv’s with access right from the house to the trails. We enjoyed Louie’s Landing right down the road for a pit stop from riding and for the kids to swim in the lake. The dock was the perfect place to sit and watch the beautiful sunsets. The house had all of the kitchen utensils needed and the house was stocked with amenities. This is a great place to unplug from your devices. Thanks for the great stay!

Such a beautiful place. Super clean, fully equipped kitchen, great deck with plenty of seating and level to the dock. We had 10 crazy women in our group that were celebrating our 30th anniversary of trips together and we were so impressed when we got there. The owners of this property are so helpful. Even gave me information on pontoon rentals. We are definitely going to look at their other properties for next year. If you can get a chance to vacation here definitely do it!

Private Location

House was as pictured, clean and well-stocked. Very private location...you cannot see another house when in the house or yard. Listing said DISH TV and DVD player, but there was no DISH TV and the DVD player was not working. We do not have any smart TV apps, but a couple of them were still signed in, so we were able to watch some movies at night and during the rain. Overall, the house was as-advertised, the beds were comfortable, the location was great, the lake was beautiful even though the fish were not biting. Would definitely recommend this property. Owners had yard treated for mosquitoes, so as long as the sun was up, they were basically non-existent, which was wonderful.

Stay at moose Lake

This property has to be by far one of the best places we’ve stayed at. We have been coming up to Hayward area for over 20 + years and stay at a different place each year. The beds are super comfortable!! Have everything in kitchen that one needs to make meals with. They even supply towels, garbage bags, toilet paper and even the small attention to details as shower soap and lotions things one might forget at home. Definitely recommend this place and can honestly say will be book again!!!
