By day, the white sands will warm your feet and blue waters will welcome you and by night, watch the pretty lights across the shores to Nelsons Bay all from the comfort of your back yard, A 4 bedroom home with built in robes sleeping up to 6 adults plus children, 2 bathrooms and large kitchen. The bay is the main attraction, you can jump down from the font yard onto the beach to fish, moor your boat meters from the yard or just fish right from the lawn...

You will also get to feed the local Kangaroos, best time to do this is early in the morning or just before sunset...

Another major attraction is the dolphins, you maybe lucky to see them come close to the house while you are dining but to be sure to see them you just take the Kayak out in the morning and you are almost guaranteed to have a close encounter... AMAZING...

The property is located an easy 10 min drive from Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest or 45 minutes drive from Nelsons Bay.. or.. if you have a boat is only 5 minutes from each.. you can Moore your boat just off the front lawn or use the boat ramp located on our property.

The waters close to the house are sandy, warm and shallow so it is great for kids or just paddling... just remember not to feed the Pelicans too much as they can start to get demanding...

Magical location

My family and I stayed for 6 nights at Blue Bundaleer and we did not want to leave. Dale was a most gracious and friendly host, very easy to talk to. The welcome gift was a lovely surprise. Waking up to lake views was so relaxing. Sitting on the deck at night having a drink and watching the lights across the bay was lovely. Wonderful spot to fish straight from rear yard, caught a few small whiting but had to throw back. Our dog loved running and swimming. Thoroughly recommend this lovely property for a peaceful getaway.

Just perfect

This venue provided the perfect setting for a wonderful Christmas. It allowed all ages to enjoy themselves by providing excellent facilities. Dale was more than friendly and this helped to cement positive feeling right from the start. Thanks so much Dale. We look forward to a return family visit here.

Amazing Family Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Blue Bundaleer. Dale was amazingly communicative and welcoming and when we arrived we felt at home right away. Its always a bit nerve wracking entering a new house and looking for hazards with our 4 small children but we were at ease at Blue Bundaleer straightaway. The house is on one level and there is a safety gate on the stairs leading off the outside balcony. The kids were delighted with the visiting kangaroos, and there was even a mummy with her joey. We spent our days with bucket and spade, exploring the treehouse on the beach and bundling up with one of the provided DVDs when it got a bit cold. Next time we'll take the kayaks out! We were provided with a hamper of treats on arrival and these were so handy for the road trip to Nelson Bay. Everything was so thoughtfully provided, we were thoroughly impressed. The setting is exquisite, at night you are looking across at the lights of Nelson Bay. In the day, we were able to see huge rainbows after the rain. Dale looked after us so well and the house and host absolutely exceeded expectations. We just loved it. Highly recommended!

Amazing property perfect for a family getaway

We had an amazing time at Blue Bundaleer. The location is incredible. Peacefully quiet with breathtaking views. The house is so well equipped with everything you need. The layout of Blue Bundaleer is perfect for families. We loved being able to cook in the Kitchen, while taking in the views and talking to each other in the lounge room. Our babies were able to sleep peacefully down the hallway away from the main entertaining area. Sharing the sunshine on the front lawn with the kangaroos was just divine, not to mention eating breakfast and watching the dolphins swim by. We also loved being able to take the Kayaks out for a paddle and a fish. Dale went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing less than perfect. We would highly recommend this property for a weekend getaway or family holiday. We will definitely be back soon.

Outstanding location!

Me and my family have stayed at various amounts of holiday homes listed on stayz but nothing compares to this one, the location was amazing! Great for my young kids to play in the shallow water to and we were even greeted with a little hamper full of goodies on the kitchen bench on arival, even made great use of the kyaks avalible for use. We could not fault this property and wouldn't hesitate in recommending anybody to enjoy a holiday there! We will deffinatly be returning in the near future. Thanks again dale!

Great Property. Excellent

It is a great house in a great location. We love the place thoroughly. Except that, the backyard has the Kangaroo poo everywhere and we could not use the backyard much. There was no gate to block the kangaroo coming into the property. Also, the heating system was not as expected. The AC is in hall and we had to keep our bedroom doors open to keep us warm. No heating available in the bedrooms. Otherwise it is a great place and very enjoyable.

7 star relaxatation

We are an elderly couple who have just spent a wonderful week at Blue Bundaleer. The minute you walk through the front door you feel at home. The view from living room and dining room is beautifully peaceful. A lot of thought has gone into making this a holiday to remember. Our dog Bobbie loved the freedom he had outside. The property was very clean and had all the items that you would need. It was a little bit of heaven and Dale and Alice are the best hosts we ever come across. Alice thoughtfully had a welcome basket made up with biscuits, lollies, all sort of nibble plus essentials like tea / coffee and milk. Nothing was to much trouble for Dale to help you with. So if you are young family, or oldies like us, you can be sure that this is the holiday for you. We give the highest recommendation possible. Thanks Dale.

Amazing property. Great owner!

We couldn't have enjoyed our time any better and Dale was great to deal with. The house was amazing and we were so thankful to be able to use the Kayaks at the house. We fished every day and caught plenty. We have decided this house will be a regular holiday for our family. Can not praise the property enough.

Beautiful house and great location

We had a very lovely weekend at the Blue Bundaleer. The house is spacious, clean and has an amazing view. It's the perfect location to relax and enjoy the water. The little crabs were a fun sight to see at low tide, and we also spotted a kangaroo up the road. For those who like fishing, you can definitely catch fish close to the property despite the shallow water, no boat needed. It would be wonderful to return to the property in the future. I would highly recommend to anyone, and would also recommend staying for more than 3 days to fully enjoy the property and the area.

fantastic time!

I had family over form the UK and we had a fantastic time staying at ‘blue bundeleer”. The house is clean and tidy and in a great location right on the water. We had a blast watching dolphins, kayaking and swimming in the bay, it’s a great place for families. Dale the owner was very helpful and made things easy. I am sure we will be back again

Kids friendly beach house with so much fun

We had 4 adults and 2 kids stayed here during Australian Day weekend. Every one of us had fun. Kids enjoyed paddling in the water and climbing on the tree house. Great view as well. The owner has given us very detailed information. We felt very welcomed.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Perfect Family Escape

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed! It had everything you could ever desire to make wonderful family memories. The location is fantastic and the house is lovely. So well equipped for every occasion. We loved going for an early morning kayak, feeding the kangaroos, chasing crabs, boating and fishing from the back doorstep and enjoying a late afternoon wine watching the sunset on the water. Dale was the most gracious and accommodating host, I cannot speak highly enough of him. If you are looking for an extremely relaxing and picturesque getaway it doesn't get any better than Blue Bundaleer.

Fantastic property

We had a wonderful time at the Blue Bundaleer. We chose this property for a family reunion weekend (four couples, two small children) and the layout was perfect for our group. The verandah was gated, which made it easy to monitor kids, and the water's edge was shallow and perfect for paddling. A beautiful outlook, short drive to necessities, longer (but scenic) drive to activities and comfortable amenities made our reunion the best we've had yet. Highly recommended.

AMAZING STAY!

Location, location, location!

Fantastic Property

The Blue Bundaleer is a beautiful house in a great peaceful location with amazing views looking straight at Port Stephens. There are plenty of things to do like fishing, Kayaking or even feeding the kangaroos right from the property.

Peaceful paradise

The views are wonderful whatever the weather and the house is in a peaceful setting. It is well equipped as well as comfortable and uniquely different. The host is extremely welcoming and helpful which adds to the joy of being there.
