Aquatica is comprised of an entrance foyer, 2 bedrooms, 3 bedroom/study with double bed fold out lounge, 1 designer bathroom, living room, gourmet chef's kitchen, laundry, BBQ facilities and 2 private patios for outside dining and relaxing.

Aquatica is surrounded by lush tropical gardens meticulously maintained. The large resort style saltwater pool has magnificent views of the mountains and is totally private. Everything you need for a relaxing tropical holiday.

Relaxing home away from home

Aquatica is clean and beautiful with well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful pool area and gardens. Lyndal, the property manager, made herself completely available and is friendly and personable. We loved our stay.

Great Location

We stayed at Aquatica for 5 nights at the end of August 2017 and were very happy with our choice. The house was spotless and had everything you needed to have a great holiday. The pool and garden was lovely and added to the whole experience.Perfect location in palm cove , only 2 min walk to beach and restaurants. The house is completely private in a very secluded spot, perfect for couples or a small family. Nicola was great showing us around upon arrival and all communication was prompt with owner and Nicola. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Super property

Aquatica is in a quiet location, but with a supermarket and restaurants nearby. It is within a few minutes walk of the beach at Palm Cove and it was a wonderful location to visit Cairns, Kuranda, Daintree etc. The property itself was very smart and well equipped, with parking space outside. The property manager, Nicola, was extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and secluded. We are not social media addicts so did not miss wi-fi. The TV/audio system was great.

Exactly the rest and privacy needed!

I have be in and out of hospital for the last 8 months and in haste decided that I needed to go somewhere warm to heal and get some energy back in the tank. Property was perfect, close to the main strip of restaurants and beach whilst maintaining privacy required. Nicola and owner were very attentive.

A lovely stay

We just stayed at the Aquatica and had a lovely stay in Palm Cove for the week. Pros of the place: the pool area is great with the step providing a great play space for little ones as well. The kitchen was well equipped with some great basics available, tea, coffee, olive oil etc so didn't have to buy everything to self cater and the milk in the fridge waiting was a really thoughtful touch. The place is also a really great location, a very easy walk to the main strip of ships and beach which is a big selling point, we hardly used our car and probably didn't need to hire one at all. Cons: The place was clean but not impeccable with a few corners here and there needing a bit more of a thorough clean and an insect spray could also help. Overall a good stay for a family get away.

Peaceful, private and great location

We loved our stay at Aquatica. Great for a couple or small family. So nice not to need a car as it was 5 mins walk from beach and fabulous restaurants. House very clean and well maintained. Pool was great - also very private. Would defiantly stay here again.

Ideal holiday house

A perfect place to stay for a couple or a family with all the comforts of a home away from home. Perfectly located in a court and only 5 mins walk to the beach/esplanade. Breakfast on the verandah each morning was a delight with awesome mountain views and various bird sounds including kookaburras. Loved being able to just lie around relax and read in the various places, beside the pool or one of the two verandah areas. We found the house clean, light, airy and well equipped. Booking was straight forward and simple and the complimentary wine on arrival a lovely surprise. Thank you for making our holiday most enjoyable and relaxing.

Perfect position, pool, AND private!

Aquatica in Palm Cove was our warm tropical home for 10 nights in July to escape the cold of Tasmania's winter. This property has an excellent location, less than a 5 minute walk from the heart of Palm Cove with its cafes, shops, restaurants and of course the beach itself; and yet the property is exceptionally quiet and private, ensuring a perfect nights sleep. Communication with our host Patrick at the time of booking, prior to arrival, and with Annette upon arrival and upon departure, was precise, open, accurate and helpful, without being intrusive. Everything that was promised from the photos shown on this site and from our host direct, was delivered, and more besides! This property is well equipped for a couple, two couples, or a family. It is very clean and well presented with a lovely tropical garden around the perimeter fence and surrounding the excellent pool. The fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor dining options were all first class, equal to or better than most resorts. But the pool was the biggest highlight ... Our family absolutely loved the pool, with our young children busting for a dip every day! The pool has various levels and is a good size so that all ages can enjoy a swim. We were very pleased with our choice of Aquatica for our Palm Cove holiday, and would have no hesitation in recommending this property to others.

Peaceful & Private

My husband & I stayed at Aquatica for a total of 2 weeks. The house is in a great location in Palm Cove, walking distance to the beach, shops & restaurants. We spent most of our days by the private pool, surrounded by lush tropical plants. The gardener was very respectful & a joy to talk to. Patrick was a warm & friendly host!

Lovely House, Perfect Setting

The garden, house and pool were all tremendous. The location is also perfect - close to everything but in a quiet court away from the main road. This is a great house, but is really only a 2-bedroom property, not a genuine 3-bedroom house as listed. The third bed is a fold out couch located in an alcove off the kitchen with no doors or curtains for privacy. This was OK for a tolerant teenage boy, but others seeking an actual bedroom might be disappointed. Overall we loved staying at Aquatica and the property manager Belinda was very helpful.

Relaxing holiday

Great family house in perfect location

We stayed in April 23 for a week during autumn school hols. The house is perfect for a small family and a superior alternative to all the Palm Cove resort hotels. Located next to the Palm Cove esplanade the house is located in a cul-de-sac thus avoiding any street noises. The generously sized pool is the highlight here and it was really hard to get our kids out of it. A few small maintenance issues were immediately addressed by the friendly property manager Neil. All in all we had a great time and can only recommend this place.

Location, location, location

The second time we’ve stayed here - the outdoor space is amazing with lush gardens and a large pool. There is plenty of undercover space to eat and hang out with views over the beautiful planting. The place is spotlessly clean and quiet, ideal for a getaway and only minutes walk from the centre of Palm Cove. Some of the décor and furniture is a little dated but you spend most of your time outside. Particular thanks for the warm welcome when checking in. We’ll be back!

Fabulous location and a beautiful tropical garden

This beautiful property is set one block back from the main street in Palm Cove, away from the business but close enough to enjoy all of the restaurants and cafes in palm cove and stroll on the beach. The house has a most divine garden, truly a paradise. A few small things would have made the stay outstanding, not enough toilet paper, more towels if guests are staying more than a couple of days, no paper towels or serviettes, and no washing powder, we had to buy these things ourselves, which was disappointing. Other than these minor issues it was a beautiful stay.

Utopia

Gorgeous house with lush gardens and pool. Perfect family holiday accomodation and wonderful location. The property manager was wonderful and welcoming, giving us some great tips on local places to eat.

Tropical oasis

This place was even better in real life than what you see in the photos. Step behind the front gate and you enter a tropical oasis - the gardens are spectacular. The pool was large, secluded & warm and there's enough shelter to avoid the hot sun throughout the day. A short walk and your at the beachfront, along with a variety of restaurants and cafes. It was our first visit to Palm Cove and I would definitely return if coming this way again. An Uber ride cost us $50 each way, while car hire at Palm Cove was far cheaper than the airport! Getting back to the property, the house was very clean and the gardens/pool are maintained throughout the week to ensure it stays as you see in the photos. Ideal place for a couple, although there are two queen beds if you are travelling with others.

A Piece of Paradise

We would definitely love to come and stay at this property again. It was clean, quiet and in a great position to be able to easily access shops, restaurants and Palm Cove Beach. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and well kept. There are a few little things that could do with some updating, such as new steak knives (as the old ones are rusty), and some of the light fittings need replacing as they constantly flicker. The hot water system also only seems to put out lukewarm water after the first few minutes of showering. All in all though, the property is great, given the opportunity we would stay here again, and certainly recommend it to others.

Aquatica was a very comfortable and private holiday home. The gardens were magnificent and pool a bonus. Only a 5 minute walk to cafes and restaurants and the beach at Palm Cove. A very relaxing holiday. Didnt want to leave!

Wonderful property and location
