UNIQUE Home with lots of hardwood throughout, lofted carpeted bedroom with queen size bed, pellet stove in great room, full kitchen , full bath. A second open sleeping area ( not a private bedroom ) with full size bed is on first floor. Sleeps 2 or 4 in beds. ( Plus 1 on Futon upon request.) Situated on 18 acres is the house, orchards, woods and ponds. Free to explore the entire estate. Excellent for bird watching or wildlife viewing.

Peach, Pear and Apple Orchard on Ashland and Wayne county border. Small hobby orchard surrounded by woods and farm land. 1.5 acre stocked pond with pavilion and fire pit. Also have a fire pit in the fenced back yard. Mowed hiking paths around property can be used for bird and wildlife watching :Deer, Turkey, Woodcock, Pheasant ,Rabbit.

Fishing can be done without a license. Bring your own equipment. Firepit with wood is provided. (Two mountain bikes and/or axe throwing upon advance notice). Corn hole , horseshoes, board games, puzzles available.

We accept most pets. We reserve the right to accept or decline pets based on breed and weight. You are renting the original part of our building. You can add the rear addition building with two bedrooms and second bath , and second kitchen. In all can sleeps up to 10 /12 in 3 bedrooms plus the 2nd floor common room. PLEASE NOTE WHOLE HOUSE WITH FIRST FLOOR ENTRY CAN BE AVAILABLE AT ADDITIONAL COST TO GIVE YOU EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE ENTIRE PROPERTY. (See HA 9136298 for pictures of the rear rental. )

This is a great place to host a small meeting , family reunion, small wedding party.

Surrounded by other orchards, soybean and corn fields. Great views of sunrises and sunsets. 15 minutes north to Ashland via 89 to 250; 15 minutes east to Wooster via 89 to 30; 15 minutes south to Loudonville via 89 to 95 to 60; 20 minutes west to Mansfield via 89 to 30. 3 wineries and 3 golf courses within 15 to 20 minutes. 25 minutes to Snow Trail ski resort.

We have good well water but we stock spring and bottled water for our guests. Heating is natural gas forced air. Very comfortable throughout not drafty. Nice natural light during the day and well lite interior at night.

Archery Hunting on a limited basis can be arranged. Our deer season is Oct. through Jan. Call to discuss. Possible of leasing other property in the area available for hunting.

Peaceful and relaxing

We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay. LOVED the stocked pond which is where we spent most of our time! Our dog and our grandson both had a blast running on the property! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect peaceful getaway!

This was the perfect location for me and my husband to enjoy a lazy weekend without kids for our anniversary! Our dog loved to roam the orchard and Wooster was beautifully decorated for Christmas and a short drive for us to go out to eat.

Amish and Wine country getaway

Great stay with excellent guidance for area must sees and great communication from the owners. We took our canine kids and the house was perfect for the four of us. Quiet and peaceful and a perfect location to see historic Wooster, wineries, and the Amish community.

Sleepless nights

As we opened the door; we were welcomed with a cozy feeling; highlighted with Christmas touches! Added to our enjoyment. All kitchen necessities were provided for; as promised. The mattresses on both beds were our only complaint. Extremely uncomfortable for a good nights sleep.

Loved our quiet getaway!

We loved our relaxing stay in Mike and Pam's beautiful orchard home. They were kind enough to walk us around the gorgeous property and provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It was even decorated for Christmas! We will definitely be back again! Thanks so much for everything!

Perfect get away

We took a long weekend with the dogs and had a great time. My wife spent all her time fishing catching bass and bluegill and I was able to get the dogs over to Mohican State park for some hikes. Sitting by a fire at night watching the star filled sky was amazing. The owners were super easy to communicate with and the sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. Basically had a great time and perfect weather😁👍

Beautiful country location

The property is gorgeous. We enjoyed fishing and ax throwing. One negative: we speciically chose this location because the description said it had a fenced in back yard for our dog. There was no fence. Other than that, we loved our stay and would go back again. The home with its wood trim and somewhat rustic look was just beautiful. Thank you!

Freedom for my dog to roam

It was lovely walking through the orchards and many paths off leash. The only problem was when she saw her first horse and buggy racing down the street and gave a short chase. Huge house (upstairs). Spotless. So many beds! (I only needed one) Sad to see all the trees of the orchard in decline but I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Nice folks.

A quiet Off-Season

I enjoyed the casual atmosphere of the place! It was clean and accommodated my needs for an intense week of "work away from work" very well. Owners are very friendly and personable; they even reached out when inclement weather might've caused me trouble (it didn't). I'll be back! :)

Very cute

Very cute property and overally nice! I will say that the bed set up in the photos and the listing was different. when we got there, the was a couch and queen size in the loft, the full off of the kitchen, and the futon in the living room. This all work perfectly fine for our needs! It is a tad warm when you first walk in in the summer, but with the fans going it cools down and gets comfy quite quickly. I will say, i did message here some questions i had before check in with no response, but then texted pam when i recieved her number and she got back to me fairly quickly. Overall we would definitely stay here again, cant beat the price and the space you get for it!

Nice place, few issues

The property is nice and quiet. We loved the apple and peach trees. The back yard is fenced in and it makes it private and comfortable. The problems that I have may be just me being picky, but it should be known if someone is renting the upper or lower area prior to renting. The pond wasn't as pictured and the red fishing dock is not very clean. Also the air inside the house did not work very well as it was pretty warm both days. Other than these issues this place is still pretty nice.

Nice place to stay

The home itself was lovely. Very well done and great space. It wasnt an issue during our stay but there is no air conditioning in the home. Just fans. So just an FYI. We rented this place to explore the land and fish at the pond. We were disappointed that the paths were not mowed and were quite tall with weeds. The pond had very limited access to fish and the pavilion was cluttered. The orchards were beautiful and the trees were full of apples. Just wish the paths and pond had been better. Great communication with the owner. We left a day early due to the paths and ponds, as that is what we had planned to do with our time. Overall the home is a spacious, quiet getaway. Close to Mohican Stake Park and Charles Mills Park.

Exactly as promised!

Mike and Pam are truly generous and warm in their hospitality. Although we didn’t get to meet in person, they were very accommodating and flexible with my schedule. They me my every need and helped me to have a really comfortable stay The home is cozy and the grounds are charming. This location is on our short list to return to.

Great Base of Operations

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The hosts were very responsive and accomodating and the property clean and orderly. There is no air conditioning in the facility, but we stayed there when the outdoor temperatures were high 80s/low 90s and the home stayed tolerable the entire time. We only had 1 real complaint. The backyard is advertised as fenced-in. It is not. The fence was pulled back and open on one side and the wooden fence has very large gaps where a small dog could easily get through. We simply kept our pet on a leash when outside and it was fine, but this one aspect was not as expected. I would recommend the property and the hosts to anyone. It was a nice stay.

Nice property

We went to a festival in Mansfield and found this property which was perfect for our group. Very nice with all the amenities and very clean. There are 3 beds as well as a futon. My only suggestion would be to update the photos to show all the beds and have more/newer towels for shower use. The towels provided are rather threadbare. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. Nice property to walk around also.
