A private retreat on the Loyalsock Creek located 10 minutes north of Montoursville, PA and less than 15 minutes from Williamsport, the home of Little League Baseball. Our retreat sits on the pristine waters of the Loyalsock Creek with access right behind the home to swimming, fishing and kayaking.
Our 5 bedroom vacation home is meticulously maintained and is completely furnished with all necessary linens/towels, dishes, utensils and cookware. Creekside Manor has a unique character with the abundance of richly appointed wood and mountain stone harvested from the surrounding forests many years ago. We like to refer to it as "rustic luxury"! It is truly a home away from home in a beautiful setting.
You'll have the entire house and surrounding grounds available to you during your stay. Our property is set up as a vacation rental so you won't have to worry about navigating through an owners personal items and searching for your own storage space or working around someone else's refrigerator contents. Our bedroom closets are empty as are dressers, drawers and bathroom cabinets.
There is a separate garage not connected to the house and this is not accessible to guests.
During the summer months of June to mid-August, we have a one week minimum stay and our weeks run from Saturday to Saturday. So, check in on a Saturday and check out on a Saturday. During the Little League Baseball World Series period starting in mid-August, we provide the opportunity to reserve any 10 consecutive nights desired. Our rates during that period are also adjusted to reflect the market pricing. Other times of the year we have either a 2 or 3 night minimum and any available nights can be booked.
One bedroom and one bathroom on the ground floor.
Four bedrooms and one bathroom on second floor at the top of a 13 step staircase.
We are located in an area that draws outdoor enthusiasts including those who like to fish, hunt, hike and camp. The Consolidated Sportsmen Club of Lycoming County is located in our same valley. Don't be alarmed if you hear shots coming from that area.
The area is served by a rural electric co-op and there are times that the power goes out. It may not happen for months at a time, but on the occasion that it does occur, it generally is out for no more than 1 to 2 hours.
We do not provide watertoys, canoes, or kayaks for liability reasons but welcome you to bring your own or rent them from a local provider.
We offer a beautiful flagstone patio with a gas fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs.
There's also a great campfire ring along the creek for your use. Campfire wood is provided.
Additionally we have an indoor fireplace that is available for guest use during the appropriate season. We provide the fireplace wood as well.
