Incredible Timeshare at the Sandos Playacar Spa and Beach Resort. Sandos is a 5-star rated all-inclusive resort complex, ideally located on the magnificent white sandy beach, within a short walk to downtown PDC. With my membership, you are entitled to a FREE upgrade to the VIP Black Wristband. It is the highest class of wristbands at the resort. There’s no better. :)

Great location and property for family vacation

My husband and I and our two year old son came here for our 10-year wedding anniversary for a week. We stayed on property the whole trip. The pools were very nice, diverse and well maintained. Our son enjoyed the mini water parks with slides. Food at the restaurants was good- our favorite was Gourmex for dinner. Check in at the resort was very slow and took over an hour. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. The beach was so beautiful and close and had plenty of lounge chairs available. Our room was clean with some outdated and poor design but overall well kept. The night shows we’re super fun and impressive. We had a relaxing and fun week together!

Family Vacay

Let's start from the beginning. This almost sounds too good to be true...right? Well it's all as it sounds :) Allan was very responsive with every email sent. He also helped us organize transportation to and from the airport and hotel with a private car company. Arriving at the hotel the staff were all very friendly. The Check In proccess TOOK OVER and Hour and a half of waiting. Yes we get "VIP Access" for check in and out, only if its in the time frame that they are open. This service closed at 4, we arrived at 8. So be prepared to wait. There are bathrooms to the right and a bar to the left ;) Our check out process was quick and easy using the Royal Elite concierge. We still had access for the day after checking out at the resort at Noon, we got picked up at 430. The black wrist band was good mostly for High End booze and having breakfast at the sit down restaurant, but the food was all the same, we preferred to have the bigger selection and variety. We liked the breakfast restaurant right by the room as it was less busy than the international cafe. The french and Italian were all our favorites ( pre book a couple days before you go, however we didnt and they made it work) Lots of space in the room for our family of 5. Looks out onto a little water park for the kids. Another pool next to that with a swim up bar. That pool was very quiet. I dont think many ppl knew about it. The main pool with the other water park and VIP pool were just a trolly away or a short 8-10 min walk. The trolly's ran constantly. All in all the trip was GREAT, the hotel was GREAT and we would go back. The sister resort Caracol has a large water park that we went to for the day but 100% preferred our resort. The beach was 100%, the ocean was clean, turquoise and amazing. Caracol is rocky and crowded at the pool. I would for sure recommend this VRBO and we will be booking again with Allan in the future. Family Vacation

Everything was just as described, parts of the property were a little dated but overall we loved it. One staff member really pushed us hard at the time share to a point that I ended up just ignoring him. I booked all my dinner prior to my arrival which made the process even smoother. The host was great from beginning to end and I would absolutely consider booking again in the future.

We had a fantastic Family vacation at this property !! Specifically the kids!!

The resort grounds are very well kept and beautiful. The food is great and lots of options. The night shows are amazing, the spa a must try! Isabel is the best! The beach is absolutely gorgeous. The Staff at the resort is amazing. There were a couple of issues at arrival with our room but they went above and beyond to fix it and they did in no time. They always make sure everything was going well and you are happy. Huge shout out to Rox ( Royal Elite concierge ) Armando and Vivi. Our cleaning lady was amazing , our room was spotless every day and stocked up with everything we needed, gracias Concepcion! Everyone at the resort very helpful! We certainly enjoyed all the perks that the Royal Elite members get with the black band. So if you are looking at this listing, just book your vacation with Allan! You won’t find better deals! Allan was great to deal with. He always answered ALL of my questions right away ( and trust me, I had lots of questions! I think he’ll agree with that ;) Allan was also very helpful with booking our Airport transfer to the resort and then back. Thank you Allan! We came back home with nothing but great memories and a good time! Looking forward to our next family trip. :)

A great get away!

From the beginning it was easy booking. Allen was awesome at setting it up. It will take a day or so for it to get booked in your name through Allen. The whole resort was amazing. You will save money by upgrading to the Black wrist band. The only down side was wifi. The resort has wifi but the connection is weak. Food/ Drink and staff were great. We will definitely come back.

Destination Wedding

Allan was a great host. He was very informative during the booking process and immediately responsive during our stay. We had some issues with the location of our room due to "availability" according to the staff at Sandos Playacar that would have made a huge difference to us had it not been corrected. Allan went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of even though it required alot of extra work on his end. He is definitely a host that you can trust! Thanks again!

Clean, Organized, and gorgeous beach!!

I was worried on how the resort and town was handling the pandemic. But realized during my stay that I was in great hands. I can’t believe how clean and organized everything was. We definitely felt safe and comfortable during our stay without ruining the quality of our trip AT ALL. We were upgraded because they didn’t have a lot of people because they can’t be at capacity so not only did we get a free room upgrade but the resort almost felt like it was dedicated just to us. That was such a great feeling. The ocean beach everything was gorgeous. Allan was very helpful and took great care of us. Our two kids were free they didn’t need to pay the all inclusive fees which saved us a lot of money and the black bracelets were a huge benefit to us. We did so much here and we will come back for sure. Highly recommend this.

Amazing food, beautiful Spa. & great location!!!

We just returned from our trip. Was so nervous booking this listing because of how too good to be true it was. But after arriving everything Allan told me all came true. I’m so happy I made this decision to book. This whole process was made super easy by Allan. We received the black bracelets at the resort which made my stay such a better experience. We had lots of perks with it and felt more privileged. My 3 children were all free and that deal which only Allan can give us (trust me I looked everywhere) and that saved us so much money as it’s so expensive now a days to travel with a big family. This is so great. My kids had bunk beds and we were able to optimize on the kids club benefit which allowed us to use babysitting for free and that gave us the ability to enjoy the amenities at the adult section. LOVED the food so much there was lots of choices and always something to eat at anytime. 7 high end restaurants all free, beautiful spa and all the amenities are free there. We used the private VIP bars and lounges all the time which gave us premium alcohol and gourmet snacks and we just felt like royalty. I’ll be back this year in December again. I’m excited to keep booking with Allan he was great. Loved it!!
