Great Getaway

Cute little cabin in the woods and short walking distance to Big Bear Village. My husband and I had a really great weekend.

Wonderful retreat!!

Was happy to have the text message check-ins and 100% contact with the conciere. Everything was taken care of upon arrival and for departure. It's a spacious yard, cozy inside, plenty of supplies provided. We look forward to staying again!

Big Bear Vacation

I really enjoyed my stay and loved the location and property was nice and walking distance to town. Only think, the dishwasher was broken and had to wash dishes by hand.

Great Location

Great location right near the village. Love the wrap around porch. The place was clean and had enough cooking utensils. Carpet needs to be replaced. Love the hot tub and the back yard.

Great Stay with Dogs

This is the perfect place to bring your dogs. Nice wrap around porch that has a gate to the large yard. King Bed in master was comfortable. Right above and walking distance to the village. It had everything we needed! We will definitely be coming back!

Perfect Location

This is a very nice little cabin that is close to shopping and dining. Easy walk down to the shops and the restaurants. The hot tub was amazing and the fenced in backyard was a huge plus. The only thing that didn’t work that we wished it did was the TV in the master bedroom. We like to lay in bed and watch TV in the evenings and morning but we’re unable to because the tv wasn’t getting a cable signal. Definitely not a dealbreaker, though, we would definitely stay there again.

Such a great little house

My husband and I brought our little pup up to get some R&R while our kids were away at camp. The house was perfect. Not too big but with a nice big yard and wrap around porch which were all fenced in. The hot tub was clean and worked great. Everything was clean and in working order in the house. We are planning on returning here with our kids later this year!

Funky and Fun

Knotty pine everywhere! Great location to the Village. Comfy bed and nice small kitchen. Only complaints: ice maker not working. Only 2 jets in hot tub functioning. 3 TVs but no instructions on operating them

Perfect rustic cabin

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin! The backyard is completely fenced, large and has so much character for our lab to enjoy. The porch is awesome for sitting with coffee. The hot tub was perfect for the snow day. The cabin had plenty of room for the 4 of us and our pet. We were a 3 minute walk from Oakside restaurant in the village, a must go! We will definitely come back to this cabin. Only downside was a hole in the driveway but it was quickly repaired once reported. Check in and out was so easy! Love Big Bear and this cabin.

do not use big bear vacations rental company...

I will never use Big Bear Vacation company again. They charge you $50 for checking in after 7pm but do not disclaim this prior to you reserving with them. Other than the terrible stench of cigarette smoke and pets, the cabin was okay to stay at.

Perfect getaway cabin for our family

My family and I had a great time staying at this cabin. Everything was nice and clean. The pictures didn't do this cabin justice. Great fenced-in backyard. Perfect for a family and petowners. The kitchen had everything we needed. Location was great. Close to the big bear village. You can pretty much walk there if you wanted to. Only downside was that the check time was pretty late at 4pm. And it was a little cold in the cabin and the wall heater didn't really warm up the cabin. But there were space heaters in both rooms, which made nice and toasty.

Superb Location!

Location was superb! Just a short drive down to the village where there are many restaurants, shops, etc. Also had a beautiful area in back of the property for sledding and playing around in the snow. Our two little ones loved it! Hot tub was a nice extra as well! One thing to note is that the tvs in the unit were very outdated and slow- they play then stop and continue “loading” on and off. I would also recommend noting there is no hair dryer available in the unit. This was extremely disappointing as even low star motels offer hair dryers for their guests. Especially being in such a cold weather climate area, a hair dryer would have been nice to know there wouldn’t be one available. But other than having to go an extra day without washing my hair, everything else was great!!! The location made it all worth it!

Beautiful cabin !

I loved everything about this cabin. It has a huge enclosed yard with several sitting areas. Great views and very cozy inside. However, I was disappointed to find that the dishwasher had a sticker on it that said “Do Not Use” and the oven didn’t work. I was very unhappy to have to wash all our dishes as I am very used to using a dishwasher. Also, not too happy to have to drive my trash to a dumping site. People next door were very loud on my last night there which was a Wednesday night. Overall it was a beautiful cabin with a nice outside area . The heater in the second room clicks all night as if the pilot is trying to go on and kept me up. Pillows were uncomfortable. Couch was very comfy as I had to sleep on It due to heater clicking all night. We enjoyed lots of snow play in the yard and the jacuzzi which was warm enough but not hot. I love to bake so a non wok oven was disappointing. I’d rerent I’d they fixed the issues. Lots of snow and. Lose to cute village.

Cute cozy cabin

We absolutely loved this place and plan to come back. The check in was easy and the cabin was adorable! Super close walk to the village and the jacuzzi is very secluded with a stunning view. The backyard was huge. Can’t wait to book again!

Great location, bad management company

The location of this property was wonderful, walkable to the Villages, which was very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the management company is TERRIBLE. We checked in at a different location with an extremely unfriendly check in person, broken dishwasher at the property, and were subject to an additional fee when we did not take our trash to third and separate location upon checkout. Would not recommend renting from this management company.

Great Getaway!

My husband and I came to Big Bear for a romantic getaway, and this home was perfect. Every day we walked down to the village. The location was far enough away from the traffic to be secluded, but was still close enough for Convenience. It was very quiet. The heater worked amazing. The TVs were a bit outdated and complicated. The check in was a bit odd because you have to go to the office, but they don't give you the keys there. It's all sent via text or email. But other than that, it was truly perfect. We would definitely come back.

Quiet and cozy

My wife and I had a quick weekend trip here and it was great. House was just the right size for us and it was very close to the village to shop and dine. We especially liked how secluded from neighbors the property was.
