A great cabin to enjoy a relaxing vacation. You can both stay in this peaceful place with a great view and might even enjoy the northern lights in the winter time or take trips to see everything this beautiful area has to offer. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and sleeping area for 4 grown ups and a room for two kids. And a hot tub in the garden. We offer very good information about everything to do in this area, for example there are two great swimming pool in short distance and Gullfoss and Geysir from the Golden circle. You can also find stuff to do like go horseback riding, golf and swim in Icelandic nature pools that are close by. You don't have to go far to find a grocery shop or restaurants so this area has everything you need.

The cabin was fantastic - absolutely perfect for a young family (the kids loved playing in the garden, the hot tub and colouring). Location is really good to see all three sights in the golden circle and the Northern lights. Highly recommended!
This guesthouse is in the middle of everything Golden Circle has to offer. A cozy cabin in the woods for our family of four. Owner is extremely responsive too.
We split our stay into two areas on opposite ends of the golden circle. This was our second spot and we really enjoyed it. The hot tub was perfect, beds comfortable, and kitchen and bath really well stocked with necessities. No laundry/washer is the only downside but we managed as we only stayed four nights and were able to do laundry at our first spot.
This was a great little place for me and my family to stay while visiting Iceland. The cabin had everything you could need and the host was super responsive to any questions we had. We truly enjoyed our stay and the wonderful town of Fludir.
We enjoyed the location of the cabin - very private, very quiet, and surrounded by trees and open views! The proximity to local attractions made this a great base for exploring the Golden Circle.

Cozy, warm house with everything that you need when traveling, we enjoyed hot jacuzzi and the dinner outside at the table with beautiful view.
End-of-the-road privacy, a hot tub on the porch, and a cozy comfortable homey vibe made our stay at this cabin absolutely delightful.
There is a market a few minutes away, and the cabins' proximity to the Golden Circle make it a perfect option for our stay.
Im ready to move in!
This house might be the most beautiful setting in a rental I've been to. I love the fact that it is set at the end of a road, which is very quiet and peaceful. There are so many windows that you can see the entire view which goes on for miles. We felt comfortable in this house, being very cozy. The fact that all heating comes from geothermal energy was amazing! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook a meal. The blue tooth speaker in the living room was great for music. The hot tub was great to sit in and enjoy the scenery.
Great location just make sure you put the entire address into the sat Nav, our Toyota Nav only suggested one wrong location until I added all text. The cabin is great, watch the hot tub, it is hot and if left gets hotter! The cabin is full of the owners bits and bobs which gives it a great homely feel. Also the secret lagoon is 5 minutes by car.
Cute, cozy cabin that clearly has a lot of love put into it. Very quiet and peaceful. Elisa is fantastic about communicating, and offered a number of great suggestions (food, site seeing, etc) when requested. Rural area that was a great base for our explorations around Iceland.
Very nice, the hot tub works well and it was relaxed sitting in the tub during evenings. Every need was provided. Nice conversation. Elisa always took care of us. Thank you

Not what I expected, should not be a rental
First, there is a hot tub at the place, but not what you think. You have to fill the hot tub to use it with hot water. I think that is called a hot bath. Takes 20 minutes to fill so when you are back from a long day of sightseeing that is what you have to do. This information was sent to me a few days before check in, but I missed that info and was seriously surprised by an empty hot tub. The place is also very cluttered, do not expect what you see in the pictures. The light switches do not work and there are power bricks all over the place to plug some extra light into. The place is quiet and the location is OK. Not much around there and for the days we were there most restaurants close by were closed.

A lovely place. Two things that could use improvement:
- there are very few lights, especially in the living room/kitchen area. It was definitely hard to cook like this, and not possible to read unless one had a back-lit ereader.
- the owner communicated very clearly, but the VRBO app made a point of hiding the messages, not including the photo that the owner had sent to help us find the place, or simply declaring that I was not allowed to access the messages. This is not the owner's fault, but I suggest they pass this on to VRBO, or find a different system to use.
- all of that being said, it was a lovely place and I would have loved to stay longer.
We really enjoyed the cottage. The interior has a quaint and cozy feel, with everything needed for a good stay. The windows are expansive, so people can sit on the sofa and gaze at the mountains in the distance.
I do have a few points that need improvement:
- the host forgot to send the lockbox code but did respond quickly, when asked. I’m also a VRBO host; at my property, I provide guests with a full description of what to expect upon arrival. I approach my property, as if I’ve never been before and spell out the areas that might be confusing for guests, well in advance of their arrivals.
- the lighting and electrics are very confusing
- the hosts left a decent amount of food in the fridge/freezer, which is already small. We didn’t have much room for the food we brought with us, to the point that we had to throw away some frozen items we’d purchased because the freezer was full. I think vrbo refrigerators should be mostly empty for guests.
Besinders gut
