Muskoka Lodge on Lake Glenville is in the gated community of Glenshore. The Lodge was designed as a place for family gatherings. The entry-level has a wood-burning stone fireplace and couches, a dining table for ten with two additional tables that can attach for seating for eight more and a wet bar that seats four. A den with couches and lounge chairs and a television allows more space for entertainment. There is also a kitchen on the main floor that has a double oven, gas range and an island so food prep is a snap. The upper level has 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms; three with queen beds, and one with two twins. The lower level has 14 "roll-away" beds, separate men's and ladies' restroom and changing area, a fireplace and television to play your favorite DVDs. The back deck has a great view of the lake and a fireplace with plenty of rocking chairs for relaxing with a gas grill. There are 70+ steps down to the private dock so don't forget your favorite beverage or towel before you head down.

There is NO KING bed, I was a director for Hilton hotel this is huge. I'm going to fight & I mean fight over that. Every other bed is 20 yrs old absolute junk! There is one little tv about 10 yrs old with direct tv but no channels their cheapest package maybe 20 channels. We were there during Fred storm so 7 people no TV's. The internet is so bad if you are out of the room it's in it doesn't work which was a big problem 3 of my kids work remotely. Don't waste your money
Our family had a wonderful trip. The great family room is large and so conducive to hours of quality time, eating, playing games and visiting! The views are stunning. The WiFi works great if you’re on the side of the house where the router is. A couple of things to mention. We had air conditioning problems while we were there. The top level unit did not work and that is where all of the bedrooms are. The rental company was responsive in confirming it wasn’t working and offered a few different solutions to make reasonable accommodations. Unfortunately, it was still uncomfortable for most in our party because it couldn’t get fixed until after our visit was complete. I would recommend that next time pest control comes, try to schedule it when there is no one renting the home or in between renters. I understand bugs and that pest control needs to come, but since the visit happened in the middle of our visit, you can imagine that the bugs came out in droves afterward. My last comment is about the dock. We knew from the posting that it was many steps down and expected that. What we did not expect was that the dock was floating and that the step from the path to the dock was much greater than a larger step - we had to sit down and then jump onto the dock to be safe. This is not something unmanageable but knowing going into it would have been helpful as we had elderly people in our party. Overall it was an enjoyable week on beautiful Lake Glenville.
Wonderful house, gorgeous views. We cooked in every meal and enjoyed looking out at the lake and mountains from the great kitchen. The kids loved having their own huge downstairs room and we enjoyed the dock and lots of QT on the lake. We would definitely go back!
This is a Large, great house in a great location. However, I’m not sure we would book this again given certain issues that would be under the owners purview. Black ant infestation. House needs a deep clean. Dust is everywhere. Mattresses need immediate replacement. House has no king beds, FYI. Kitchen is dated with appliances that are on last legs with exception of dishwasher. We ran out of propane and the management co did replace immediately. The basement is gross, smells musty, there are a lot of bugs/large black flys (endless that were coming from the drain) down there. The outdoor fire place and deck was amazing and the dock and access to lake was perfect. With a few quick remedies this would be a 5 star stay.
Excellent lake home perfect for family getaway. Beautiful and peaceful views.
We enjoyed the views from porch and the fun activities the area offered. This property makes you feel cozy and right at home. We would love to return one day!
