A first floor newly remodeled beach house located on a private beach at Buckroe Beach in Hampton, VA. Panoramic view of the Chesapeake Bay. Covered deck. Fully furnished. Washer and dryer provided. 2 bedrooms (with one queen size bed and one full-size bed) a pull out sofa bed in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen. Outdoor beach shower. Cable TV and internet access. No smoking or vaping allowed. Great restaurants downtown just 5 minutes away. This is a bottom unit. Keep in mind there may be guests upstairs. Please be respectful of the guests upstairs.

True Beach House

The moment we walked up the stairs to the front door and saw the view through the glass windows, we knew our stay would be amazing. The property is right on the beach. We loved sitting on the deck, watching the sunrise, going for walks. The neighborhood is nice. Norfolk and its attractions as well as historic sites are just short drives away. The perfect location. Host was very responsive. Would stay again for sure.

Family and fishing

The place was nice on the beach, great view, and convenient except if you have problems with stairs Unfortunately you can hear the people above walking around. You depend on them to check below before cleaning their deck. And fortunately that my wife remained behind one day to stop the flood. Plumbing for outside hydrants had not been used or inspected and when they started using the upstairs one water came through the ceiling into our unit. The wife got them to stop , called the owner, and he got someone there quickly to take care of the plumbing, She still cleaned up our unit.

Super beach location

We loved the location, right on the beach with great weather. The almost perfect house but some areas need a little improvement and tlc. Bathroom downstairs is a little bit older then the rest of the house that was updated/renovated. But Jim made all of that up as a great host. He solved all small issues and that made our stay very nice.

Wonderful family vacation!

My husband and I just spent a week here with our 2 boys and had a beautiful time. I had great communication with the host who made sure we had a perfect stay. The location is wonderful and the porch was my favorite place to be! If you are looking for an easy beach get away then this is the place. Thank you to our host for providing such a pleasant experience. We will definitely be back!

Perfect beach house

My family and I loved every minute of our stay at this beach house. We had all the fun and enjoyment of the beach, but with the peace, quiet, and privacy of the private beach, away from the hectic, tourist-trap areas - but still with easy access to all the attractions. Virtually everything needed was provided, which made it extremely easy to just enjoy the stay. We will certainly stay here again whenever we visit the area, without a single moment of hesitation. Perfect Beach

Amazing property for laid-back enjoying the waves from the shaded deck, walking on the beach, or playing in the water with the kids. The beach and water were clean and inviting. Neighborhood is quiet, but there's a lot to do nearby. We visited Busch Gardens at Williamsburg, The Space and Science Museum at Langly, and took the Bay Bridge Tunnel to Virginia's Eastern Shore. Wonderful fresh seafood.

Wonderful family vacation spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, just as advertised, and the perfect size for our family of 4. It was so nice to be on the Chesapeake Bay so that we could walk, see the sunrise, watch the birds and just enjoy the beach.

Wonderful time!

Jim's house is lovely, and we really enjoyed our time. Being able to wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean was amazing! The house itself is wonderful and well equipped with everything you need-linens, towels, plenty of kitchen utensils and baking/cooking items. We could not have asked for a better time. Additionally , Jim is super responsive and quick to respond to messages. We will definitely return.

Relaxing

Wonderful location, view, and atmosphere. Had to do some deep cleaning of the bathroom when we arrived but we let the owner know and he acknowledge the situation and addressed it immediately. The view of the bay was awesome and the location was very peaceful. Local to all the sites and convienences required. Thank you for a relaxing get away from the stresses of daily life!
