We love your home and thoroughly enjoyed visiting the donkeys across the road. Very comfortable beds and beautiful home to relax and enjoy our time together. Thank you!
When you rent a property online, there’s a certain standard you hope for and are usually met. Upon arrival, we knew this would exceed expectations. A quaint farmhouse next to a pasture with cows and two friendly donkeys. The farmhouse is wonderfully decorated and the layout was perfect. Overall, great experience!
We only had a couple of days to spend in the area and this was a great place to stay. Our 5 year old grandson was thrilled to meet the neighboring donkeys and feed them the treats supplied by the host. The host was very responsive to questions and even adjustments due to flight times. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.
Great location as we toured around different areas of Texas (Waco, Austin, Fort Worth, Arlington, Dallas). House was perfect for our family and we loved visiting the cows and donkeys next door!

This is a cute and roomy farmhouse out in the country but very close to the Baylor campus. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We had six guests and never felt crowded with the various living areas to spread around. The kitchen had all of the necessary appliances and utensils. We appreciated the Christmas tree in the front living room to keep us in the holiday spirit. A great place for a medium size group.
We 5 college roomates from 50 years ago, had a great time! We had lots of space and with 3 1/2 baths, it was very convenient. The grounds were peaceful and relaxing and we enjoyed feeding the donkeys. The house is only about 5 min outside of Waco, but still in the country. The house is very clean and comfortable ensuring a return visit!
We loved our stay at this farmhouse within 10 minutes of Waco! It was nice having the peaceful, country setting and animals right across the street! Perfect for the kids. The only things we encountered were a plethora of birds that seem to love the trees on the property (so many we had to use an umbrella while running to the car to escape being pooped on) and also had to get a car wash. Not sure how you avoid that but just a "heads up" it could be bad depending on the season. It doesn't last all day:) We also encountered 2 cockroaches which the owner said were water bugs and had something to do with how the house was structured/built. They do spray the property and we thought the house was clean. Being this is a farm property, it doesn't go without smells so if you're sensitive to smell, you might want to find something in town, we didn't mind it however.
Enjoyed a peaceful beautiful house in the country. Loved the pictures/articles of the history of the property. The house provided everything you need & was very clean. Definitely recommend!
Great property and great location. Very close to Baylor. You feel like you are in the country, yet you are very close to town. Owners are very responsive.
