The winding road will lead you to a cozy Lakeview Cabin surround by tall pines and oaks. The circle drive will be convenient to your vehicle and boat and the large deck will welcome you as you enter an almost new, coz,y one-bedroom, fully furnished cabin.
This cabin sleeps four with one queen bed in the bedroom and an easy to fold out couch. The new refrigerator w/water and plenty of space to cook in or a close drive to downtown Mineola and grab a burger at East Texas Burger Company or head to Seth's Steak and Seafood for the best catfish and crawfish you have ever had.
There is a boat launch just 100 feet away and you can fish off of one of our docks if you would like. We are 14 miles from Lake Fork Marina if you are fishing in a tournament there.
An economical get-away to think, relax, write, fish and enjoy the outdoors. There are a number of day trips if you want to do a great week vacation with many things to do on and around Lake Holbrook.

Little piece of heaven

We had a very pleasant stay, this cabin was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The owner was very nice!! And made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The views were gorgeous and it was so peaceful. My kids had such a good time fishing and using the paddle boat. Thank you so much. We will be booking again. :)

Wonderful and relaxing stay after the holiday madness

We enjoyed the home, ability to relax and just a clean comfortable place to visit. It was close enough to Mineola to make several day trips to the train museum, sample some of the sights and visit Cleta’s treat shop. Pleasant and friendly owner that made our stay very welcoming.

Just what I needed

Perfect getaway. Not too far from home but far enough to give me time to relax. Forgot that it was in a neighborhood, it was so quiet. Owners were incredibly kind and welcoming! Even offered a late check out. Will be back!!!

Such a peaceful stay

Wonderful Cabin!!

We came to Lake Fork for a fishing trip. This cabin was really cozy, close to everything we needed, and exceeded our expectations. The hosts were great as far as answering any questions we had before our arrival. Awesome short weekend vacay!!

Great Location, Cute Cabin

The cabin was small, but very cute and clean, with a view of the lake and fishing was good. It was winter weather, but still OK for my husband to fish in his boat, which he launched a few steps away. The owners made you feel special and always answered any questions promptly.

Great Lakeside Cabin

What some may think this cabin lacks in size, it absolutely makes up for in charm. The hosts went above and beyond to welcome us and ensure that we were comfortable during our stay. The view is amazing. We would have loved to enjoy the large deck more, but it was raining most of our time there. We are looking forward to staying here again when in the area.

Quiet, relaxing getaway

The property was clean and welcoming, in a quiet neighborhood with a nice view of Lake Holbrook, and close to many great bass-fishing lakes as well as friendly small towns with good restaurants!

Nice little place for a getaway from DFW area!

We were looking for a getaway that was close to Monday Trade Day. This was a perfect little place, just 25 mins on back roads to Canton, very nice drive. Close by grocery stores (Brookshire's). When we got back from trade days "daily" we enjoyed the evening with grilling and fishing at the lake. Host : Brent and JC were kind people.

Wonderful get away

This property was so amazing! The owners made sure everything was perfect... the house, the lake, use of their fishing poles, paddle boat, etc. Top notch!! Don't forget to visit the town of Mineola, one of Texas' gems. The local shops are wonderful and full of personality. Lots of great options all within minutes! Can't wait to go back. Thank you for a relaxing time and fun memories 🙂

Heaven on earth

The environment, scenery, peace and serenity were unbelievable. The lake and lake view were awesome in so many ways. The cabin was very nice ,neat, clean and gave you the feeling of a dream come true. The feeling of home away from home is a wonderful feeling, especially when you're welcomed as soon as you open the door. The host were very easy the deal with and to communicate with and were very quick to respond to my inquiries. I loved the inviting feeling that I was welcomed with even though I never met them. The lake was very cool and calm, even though it were people fishing from boats and people having a blast on jet skies. Everyone was friendly, kind and respectful to everyone on the lake. I went kayaking for the first time and spent almost 3 hours just cruising the lake and enjoying the opportunity to experience the relaxation, nature and the mind clearing sound of the water. By the way the kayaks are very nimble so make sure that you're very balanced when you first get in or you'll roll over very quick and smooth into the water, lol, just like I did. I can go on and on and on about all the nice and wonderful things about the cabin, lake and the wonderful host Brent and J.C. but I would run out of space. So if you really want to relax and wake up to birds chirping, squirrels playing then this is the place for you. Oh, I almost forgot about the clear night skies and the moon shining in at night. I enjoyed more than I can explain or express and I will be going back soon to experience the ice cream and candy store.
