Daytona Resort

The property was beautiful and the location terrific other than some other homes in the area still rebuilding from last years hurricane. The beach was quiet and no driving in the area. Beautiful decks and sunrises. I have visited Daytona Beach my whole life and have family in the area. The property was a welcome relief from staying with relatives and the owner was very communicative.

Paradise in Daytona Beach

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary during our stay and let us tell you that this beach home was incredible!!! The view to the Ocean is the first thing your senses are hit with as soon as you arrive!! The Home was clean and beautiful and featured everything we would need for our 7 day trip!! The jacuzzi was such a great surprise as well as the NEW HUGE big screen TV in the front room!!! The Master bedroom upstairs features all glass with the view facing the ocean!! The sliding glass doors on our balcony allowed us to enjoy every moment of the ocean plus sunsets and sunrises. We were surrounded in paradise and can’t think of a better experience for an anniversary!! Look no further because the best place in Daytona beach is here!! We WILL be back!!! All our best from Nashville Tennessee!! Thank you for being a consummate host Gary!! Frank and Paula Wilkens

Beautiful view

Loved being able to walk off the deck into the sand. Keep in mind that this house is right next to a public access if privacy is important to you. House is a bit dated but still nice. The deck was amazing! Had to contact owner about door lock not working but she was super nice and got it fixed asap for us.

Amazing Location

This house is amazing! The host was very accommodating and replied very quickly. The location is the best and has amazing views. Was so enjoyable. We were hardly in the house except to cook and sleep! The views were to amazing to be inside. And we are from south Florida but the beaches up north are beautiful. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful home on the beach!

We absolutely loved staying here! The home is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. The deck actually has a lot more outdoor furniture than is shown in the photos. This place was perfect for the purpose of this trip!

Nice place

This listing is OK. A little more run down then pictures show. Roof has leaks when it rains and has a misty molded smell at times. Called management to let them know of leaks and was told they are aware. If so they need to have to roof fixed so rain does not come in thru ceiling in upstairs bedroom and leaking they ceiling in living room. Not due to rain blowing in from ocean. House sleeps 8 and was left 8 towels which included bath mat and hand towels so first night didn’t even have enough towels for everyone to take a bath. Had to buy bath towels to even have enough for one night. I don’t mind washing them but expected to have at least enough for the first night. In pictures there was a game table which was not there. Overall we had a good time but for the price we

Beautiful location

The home was spacious and situated right on the beach this made it very accommodating to enjoy our stay . The views from the deck are breathtaking even on a rainy day because of the large windows throughout the back of the house. Thank you very much we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at home.

5 Star Price but 3 Star Value

Have been renting on VRBO (HomeAway) for 11 years and generally pay top dollar for the places we choose. In this case, it is quite obvious that the pics are very dated...the property is in a state of disrepair outside and in. The location is great and would be worth a 5 star price if the property were better taken care of.

Very Nice Beach Visit and House

Home was exactly as presented on line. Very clean inside, modern and well designed for 6-8 people. Kitchen well equipped, living and sleeping areas excellent. Appreciate the extra effort to have a instruction brochure and the owner responded quickly to simple question. Beach access very nice, and of course the Daytona Beach is always special.The outside front of the house needed some cleanup of the landscape, and the entrance area that was somewhat putting off as a first impression. Drive way is tight. Perhaps have address more easily viewed from the street. Clearly would return to this house were the opportunity to present self. Thank you.

Awesome location. Nice to set up on the beach and just walk up and down for drink refills and bathroom. House is great too. Loved the Jacuzzi but it took a while to heat up and we didn’t get to use it the first night. Great place. Highly recommended

Bait and Switch

Buyer beware. This property was not in the same conditon as the pictures listed online. When we arrived to check in the prioperty had not even been cleaned from the previous tenants. After speaking with the property owner and asking for a partial refund, which he agreeded to, I still have received no refund. The property was no where near the conditon that the pictures showed listed online. Broken blinds, broken shelves, broken closet doors, broken shower handles, lights burnt out, extremly dirty patio furniture and the water in the hot tub was nasty. The entire house was just dirty! I have pictures of everything that we experienced. 1 star rating at best!

Excellent Customer Service

The house getaway was in a perfect location. The house was very personal and cozy. We felt like home. Excellent view to the ocean. Clean and and excellent customer service. We had a question on regard of the wifi, and Mr. Gary was very quick answering our e mail. We will rent this location in a future.

Two sisters and a great getaway

BONNY and I absolutely loved our stay at Wilbur by the sea. Gary the owner was absolutely wonderful and receptive to everything we needed. We had so many things in that house to use if we needed to, it was incredible. Very well stocked. The views were breathtaking and the weather, although we were there during Tropical storm ETA, didn’t phase us one bit. The coziness of the inside of the house during the bad weather was wonderful. Thank you so much for a wonderful memorable time in which my sister and I could make sense of the last year kindly, BONNY and Cheryl

My sisters bday trip

The house is beautiful and spacious! However, there were some minor things that could be fixed/upgraded. The couch had stains, some parts of the ceilings looked brown like there was a leak there previously. The tv in the master bedroom was very glitchy while watching and they could use upgraded washer and dryer. Other then that our stay was excellent!

Amazing beach house!

We had our honeymoon here and this is the best beach house you could ever stay at! The walk way in the front is remarkable, the views, the bedrooms/ bathrooms are so spacious. The dining room chandelier was amazing for pictures after our perfect day. The hot tub overlooking the beach was surreal. It’s private & the beach is not crowded. I couldn’t thank them enough for making my week so special. You wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful

This home has everything needed for a wonderful time and was very clean. Close to everything -20 min to New Smyrna - ocean is right out the back door. We will return next year for another amazing trip.
