You will love the flexibility of this three-bedroom, two-bath unit because it not only has a pull-out sleeper sofa (NEW mattress in 2019) in the living room but has a separate bunk room with bunk beds. It can therefore accommodate a party of 8 persons. The master bedroom contains a king-sized bed. The second bedroom contains a queen-sized bed and the bunk room contains a bunk bed with twin and full mattresses. The master bedroom is gulf-front with direct access to the twenty-five foot balcony. So is the spacious living/dining/kitchen area. NEW in 2020, full size front loading washer and dryer in your utility room.

The 14th floor will assure you breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, the Dan Russell Pier, and the indescribable sunsets over Panama City Beach. Calypso offers two pools (1 seasonally-heated) directly on the gulf for your swimming and sunning enjoyment. Between the two is a large tiki bar providing smoothies, beers, wines, and dry snacks.
This unit is located just around the corner from the elevators - close & convenient access! This Unit also has an enclosed assigned parking space on the beach (directly under west tower) so it is very convenient to get to and from your vacation rental. Directly across the street is the Calypso beach style restaurant (not affiliated with Calypso Resorts)and Fatty's Sandwich Shop (Delivery to Calypso - Your Condo, Beach or Tiki Bar).
Walk down the steps off the deck and you are on the white coral sand beaches of Panama City Beach that stretch for miles in either direction. The summer water temperature is like bath water and vendors in Panama City Beach offer a variety of water activities such as pontoon boating, jet skiing, Shell Island cruises, etc. But what really makes Calypso special is its location directly beside the City Pier which provides fishing and sea life viewing unlike any other spot in Panama City Beach. Walk the pier on a calm day and you are sure to see all kinds of interesting sea life.
Calypso Resort and Towers is located adjacent to Pier Park, Simon Property Group’s extensive tropical-feel life-style center. Pier Park brings a new level of shopping and entertainment to Panama City Beach. Pier Park boasts approximately 150+ stores and restaurants in an open-air setting and includes entertainment venue such as a park for summer concerts and annual festivals and Southern Theater’s Grand Theater containing sixteen movie theaters with stadium-style seating. Included amongst boutiques such as Ulta Cosmetics and Ann Taylor Loft are large retailers such as Dillard’s, JC Penney, Borders Books and Music, Target, Old Navy, Ron Jon Surf Shop, and an upscale grocery. In addition there are numerous restaurants including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, Panera Bread Company, Johnny Rockets, Reggae J’s Island Grill, Destin’s Back Porch Seafood House, Longhorn Steak House, and Olive Garden as well as two Starbucks. With a short walk to these locations, you would never have to leave your condo in a car!
Check-In & Check-Out Times..........Check-in time will begin after 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is at 10:00 a.m. IF your condo becomes ready early, we will notify you right away and give you a new door access code.
Facility Amenities may close at any time-No refunds due to these closures. We provide starter soaps only. We will not be leaving out decorative pillows or large bed comforters at this time. Guidelines, Facility Amenities, Policies and Regulations are subject to change. No Refunds.
NO refunds due to weather unless mandatory evacuation given by the NOAA. Then refunds are from the evacuation date through your remainder reserved dates.
PLEASE NOTE: NO SPRING BREAKERS. THERE MUST BE SOMEONE OVER THE AGE OF 25 IN THE UNIT AT ALL TIMES. AS PER NEW CITY ORDINANCE, NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED ON THE BEACH DURING THE MONTH OF MARCH.

IF YOU HAVE A 2ND VEHICLE, THERE IS A SEPARATE AND ADDITIONAL $60 REGISTRATION FEE THROUGH CALYPSO THAT I WILL EMAIL YOU SEPARATELY FOR YOU TO COMPLETE AND PAY FOR. NO PARKING REGISTRATION FOR THIS UNIT IF YOU WILL ONLY HAVE 1 VEHICLE.
This condo has 1 reserved parking space under your west building. You may request another parking space across the street but there are no guarantees. If they do not have, you would have to find parking elsewhere in the area. Many park at Pier Park parking lot areas.
Calypso Resort has a bar code system for entering and exiting the North Parking Garage, which is located just across from your condo. Clearance in some places inside is as low as 6'7". If you need further parking, we will send you a separate email directly from Calypso Resort, so that you can pay for your Parking Registration Pass ($60).This is in addition to and separate from your VRBO reservation payment.
IN ADDITION TO ALL VEHICLES, EACH MOTORCYCLE IS REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED SEPARATELY AND MUST PRESENT A VALID PASS TO ENTER AND EXIT THE PARKING GARAGE IN SINGLE FILE ORDER. Signs will be posted on property directing over-sized vehicles to park on the ground floor or outside the garage. Trailers park on the north side of the garage and motorcycles on the 2nd Floor. Over-sized vehicles and trailer parking is limited and is on a first come-first serve basis. Additional parking for over-sized vehicles and trailers will be provided at THE CROSSROADS located directly across from Sharky's Restaurant on Front Beach Road (approximately 1 mile east of Calypso. The cost to park is $1 per foot/per day. (Subject to change).
No Daily Maid Service..........The housekeeper will clean the unit after your departure. An initial set-up of toilet paper and paper towel will be provided. These items will not be replenished during your stay.
