Welcome to our family home on the lake with a beautiful view and peaceful nights. Three bedroom and two bathroom house in a family oriented community. You would be renting the main house (new build). Owners may or may not be in guest house but would not be sharing the entrance, yard or dock during your stay. General store, sandy beach and children's playground all within walking distance. The lake is stocked with trout for excellent fishing in summer or ice fishing in the winter. Our dock is equipped with a 10ft aluminum boat with electric motor and a 5 seater peddle boat. Lake permits electric motors only. Nearby Jandana Ranch for horse lovers and many hikes and trails to explore. Boat launch is at the end of our road if you have your own boat. Harper Ski Hill is 20 mins away. Sun Peaks Resort is about 50 minutes away. The city of Kamloops is only 20 minutes away if you have a need for city life or shopping. Fire pit for your marshmallows. BBQ available for your use. Relax on the deck with a cool drink and enjoy a break from your busy life.

Great family getaway.

It was pretty perfect! The kids had a blast trying to catch minnows and frogs. Everything we needed was there. Fishing was ok too!

Great stay at the lake

We had the perfect week right on the lake for a group of 4 with our dogs. The house was clean and had all we needed. The huge fully fenced yard was nice for the dogs to roam safely. It was great to have access to kayaks, a small boat and the peddle boat was fun. The hosts were quick to respond whenever we had questions. Would definitely recommend for a fun, peaceful getaway.

Beautiful Property, Great Location

The house is beautiful and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom essentials. The view off the dock is lovely and we really enjoyed taking the boat out around the lake. Overall a wonderful spot and a great little get away not too far from Kamloops.

Beautiful place and cool little community. We visited for a bike race at Harper Mountain and the place was super convenient to the venue and great for dogs. Kind considerate host!

What a great little spot on the lake. There are tonnes of amenities on the property and the house is stocked with everything you would need. It was a great family lake getaway and highly recommended if you have kids. Thanks again!

Beautiful house

Excellent location, right by the lake. Private dock is a big hit. Very beautiful house, nice and new, master bedroom is massive, master bath is very nice. Excellent communication with the owner.

Peaceful retreat

Lovely view of the lake from a comfortable and beautifully decorated house. Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions and requests and made us feel welcome immediately with wine & chocolates ☺️ We didn’t have time to use the boats but enjoyed the garden games. A great place to relax.

Wonderful stay!

Such a beautiful property. Fully gated backyard and a gate between the yard and the water. Lots of yard games and the kayaks were great! The water was wonderful and the lake was calm and peaceful. Well stocked home with wonderful character in the decor. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Our only downside was that it was obvious that this is a very dog friendly home. Lots of dog hair around despite the unit appearing quite clean. This wasn’t a huge issue for us but would have been if there were allergies in our group. Overall great stay and we would definitely return.

Beautiful House on the Lake

The house and location were perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It was clear the owners put a lot of thought into making sure we had everything we needed, and more. It was such a nice bonus to have use of the boat and paddle board too. We even caught a few fish! There is a general store within walking distance. Highly recommend this place!

Rainbow fishing trip

The house on Pinantan Lk was very nice. Clean and well supplied kitchen. For 3 men it worked well with 3 bedrooms and 2 bath. Extra bonus was have a good boat with motor included. Hosts were good to communicate with and stayed in the background during our stay. Wonderful experience.

Peaceful spot on the lake!

This is the perfect spot to reconnect with friends and family. The owners were highly responsive to our inquiries and everything was as described. The deck, yard and lake access were just what we needed on a sunny day, and the fireplace in the living room was perfect to cozy up beside in the evening. There’s plenty of parking and there are so many well thought out details inside. I’m sure we’ll be returning to enjoy more quiet time on the lake, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely Home, Great Lake

Our family, (Grandma,Gramps, Dtr. Son-in-law and 2 grand kids) were able to totally relax and enjoy our time together, swimming, boating, & playing many games. The books and games at the house were great. Lovely fenced yard which our dog love as him being able to swim. Outdoor games were fun which they supplied. Store 3 minutes away by the lake. House beautifully decorated,Good washer/dryer. Had a great time. Lake warm & clean. Thanks

Awesome getaway with family

Our family enjoyed our three night stay very much! Mitchell and Laura-Lee were very prompt to accomodate to our needs and were respectful to our privacy. The house had everything we needed: ample utensils/pots, neccesities and life jackets etc. The house was clean and modern. We appreciate the private dock and the boat very much. Fishing was great and we caught some decent trout. The neighbourhood was very quiet and got two playgrounds close by. Wifi was stable and we had no problem. The entire family loved our time there. Cannot wait to go back someday!

Lake Fun

The process was great. Quick responses to my questions and when we arrived there was wine and chocolate in the fridge. The black cat made friends immediately and we enjoyed his visits. The air was smoky but that was expected. The owner gave us an overview of the area prior to us arriving and it was actually not a bother. The lake was perfect. The swims and the pedal boat were lots of fun. The loons serenaded us and we enjoyed the middle of the lake on mirror perfect lake watching them. A really nice time with family in a quiet and serene location.

Nice getaway

We had a nice quiet 2 night family getaway here. The place was quiet. The kids enjoyed the paddle boat and a dip in the lake. It's tastefully decorated and the owners included some generous little touches like fresh eggs, fresh creamer for our coffee and several other little added food items that were a thoughtful add on. An overall a great stay! Our only point of concern, which we let the owners know about, was that we found a lot of animal hair in several places around the house. It would have been nice to know that there have been cats and dogs in the house prior to renting, as my husband is allergic to cats. Thankfully we had no adverse reaction as it was clear that they had cleaned the house and since the floors are all hard surfaces, it didn't end up being a major issue. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

The best vrbo for us!

The house was very well kept in a large property attached to the lake. The owners had a park model attached to the house by a breezeway and were seldom noticeable. When we had a question, they responded through vrbo quickly and thoroughly. The place was stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and basic supplies and condiments… along with a welcoming gift of a bottle of wine and chocolates. The house was updated and in good shape. It had a nice deck on the main floor as well as another deck connected to the upstairs bedroom, which was huge! The main floor had a large eating area with a dining area and sitting room Downstairs were double bunks, as well as a bathroom. There were two queen beds upstairs in two separate bedrooms as well as a large bathroom and laundry room. To get to the lake, we had to walk on grass to a short dock leading to the water. They provided a small motorized (10 hp, I think) fishing boat as well as a pedal boat. We used both every day. The community has only about 500 residents and is a rural area. A general store is about 1.5 km away It has a liquor store and some basic food supplies, as well as ice cream cones! It was one of my best vrbo experiences. I’m going to try to do it again in the future.

Great with a Dog and Kids

Mitchell and Laura-Lee's place was perfect for our short family vacation. The communication was excellent and prompt and the photos of the house and property are an accurate representation. We thought it was going to be touch and go with the wildfires west of Kamloops and Mitchell and Laura-Lee were very accommodating while we waited to see if coming was viable (ultimately, it wasn't an issue). A few things that we really appreciated: - Their house is part of a small community and there is an elementary school nearby with a really nice playground (two actually, one for little kids and one for older kids) - Our dog loves swimming but doesn't like jumping from a dock and there is a very small and quiet boat launch just a few minutes away where he could go in - The kitchen is very well appointed with plenty of dishes, cookware, staple ingredients, etc. - The master bed and bath are enormous with a beautiful and large deck overlooking the lake - The lake is very quiet - The WIFI was very reliable (no cell service, but it didn't matter because of the WIFI) - It's quite close to Kamloops (25 mins) but feels nowhere near a city (more cows and horses around than people) - The back yard is very large and flat (perfect for throwing the ball to our dog) One thing we learned the hard way is if you are driving to Sun Peaks, you have to go the long way around (back toward Kamloops). Both Google and Apple Maps will insist that there is a shorter route heading east, but it's an unmaintained forestry road that is only realistically passable with a serious 4x4 vehicle.

Relaxing getaway

Great vacation destination to escape to a quiet lake with all the amenities of home. Mitch and Laura-Lee provide everything that you require and then some. No cell service; however, the Wi-Fi came in handy for the teenagers. The peddle boat and aluminum boat with electric motor were a huge bonus. The lake is great for swimming with a deep entry dock.
