LOCATION: Just one block away from beautiful Miami Beach, The Carmela by Roami is your gateway to the best that Miami has to offer. Be it stunning beaches, delectable restaurants or insightful museums, The Carmela lets you make the most of your time in Miami.

The Space:
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time after 4PM and check-out is any time before 11AM. An early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about pricing at the time of booking.

ROOM ASSIGNMENT: We furnish all of our properties to a uniform standard, but individual units may differ slightly from the pictures shown. Exact unit is assigned at check-in. Views and square footage may vary slightly.

BEDROOMS: This property sleeps 4 guests in 2 beds and 2 guests on a sofa bed. The TV is located in the living room. See bed count below.
- Bedroom 1: 1 King (Sleeps 2)
- Bedroom 2: 2 Twins (Sleeps 2)
- Common Area: 1 Queen sofa bed (Sleeps 2)* Additional beds cannot be provided.

BATHROOM: The fully renovated bathroom is stocked with toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), plush towels and washcloths, and a hair dryer.

KITCHEN & DINING: The kitchen is fully renovated and stocked (100-piece culinary set) and has a full line of new appliances (blender and drip coffee maker included). The dining area has seating for 4, along with all the necessary dinnerware, and more.

PARKING: Valet Parking at Hampton Inn $45/night (The price may be subject to change without prior notice).

WHAT'S INCLUDED?: Iron and ironing board, steamer, 1 pack-n-play crib, 1 high chair, 6 beach towels, free WiFi (Up to a max 75 Mbps) and Smart TVs for your streaming apps like Netflix.

On weekends Miami Beach comes alive with many bars and restaurants. We provide a white noise machine and ear plugs in each bedroom for light sleepers.

The place is clean and fresh. Beds were very comfy! However, it was a three story walkup, which was not clear from the information on VRBO. There was coffee and plenty of towels. The noise level was not too bad, especially because we are on a busy street. The neighborhood is a little bland but the beach is so close and the buses and free blue shuttle take you down to South Beach very easily. I loved going to The Tavern for a casual neighborhood dinner. Also some good shopping near the Faena.

Nice place, but horns and traffic are loud.

Its a quick walk to the beach, next door to CVS and walking to many restaurants, that's great. The entire building is managed by this company, the apartment is very well equipped, bed was very comfortable and pillows good. 40 to rent two lounges and an umbrella for the day on the beach, not bad. Downside, is the building smelled a bit musty including our room. Couldn't get rid of that musty smell/feeling very humid inside. Lots of horn honking and loud vehicles all night long, I went with earplugs after the first night.

Had a really nice stay here. The apartment is a great value for the location - just a block from the beach and close to several restaurants. The place had everything we needed, plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioner and a fully equipped kitchen. It was clean and comfy. :)

A good stay

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay here. When we were looking for a vacation rental, the reviews for this property (and others) were all over the place. In the end, it turned out to work very well for us, though we did have a few issues.We had an issue with the remote controls not working in two of the rooms, and it took a day and a half to get replacement batteries. Since this was a minor inconvenience, it didn't bother us. But that turnaround could be an issue if the problem had been more pressing. Of course, they may have responded sooner if it had been. I don't know.We also had issues at the end of our stay with circuit breakers tripping for kitchen appliances. The fridge was off for part of the day, and the coffee maker and microwave would also trip the breakers.The location is okay. It's close to the beach and surrounded by hotels and other condominiums, so the beaches nearby were not too crowded. The building is at a busy intersection in Miami Beach, so there was a lot of street noise (trucks, car horns, etc.). But that's probably par for the course at Miami Beach.

Stay at Roami

Showed up first day, air conditioning was malfunctioning. Apartment was hot. At first they said it would be 24 hours to fix it. Said that wouldn’t work. After some back and forth, they gave me a new room for the night while they worked on the air conditioning. The next day, the AC in my unit was fixed and I returned to that apartment. Day two was ok. Water pressure in both apartments was lacking. Day two in the evening, the WiFi went out and stayed out for the rest of my stay. So no TV or computer. Day three there was no hot water, so it was cold showers before heading out. The staff was responsive to messages, but aside from the AC being fixed, they just apologized for the other issues. Overall, people seemed nice enough and location was good, but experience was just ok.
