3 Generation Family Retreat

The house was perfect for 6 adults and 4 children. Everyone had their own bedroom and the living area allowed us all to cook and eat together comfortably. The kids enjoyed the dock and playing in the yard.

Perfect!!

My family absolutely loved the stay at this house. It was everything we wanted. Everything was perfect. The owner was very easy to get ahold of and take care of anything we needed. We also rented the boat and it was also perfect. We will definitely rent again in the future.

Cozy Cove House

Great property - very clean and well-stocked kitchen for our large family. TV and game nook next to dining area was great for the two toddlers. Living room is a little small but we spent most of the time outdoors on the large front porch or down at the dock that is right down the hill in front of the house. Perfect cove for swimming off the dock and space for.some to hang out on the dock while other swam. Very cozy place!

Amazing property and lots of fun!

We loved it at The Cottage. Plenty of room for our family of 10. There was not a single issue that came up while we stayed. Great amenities in the kitchen from lots of spices and dishes to an air fryer. The access to the house and dock was easy for the 70 y/o+ grandparents too. We loved having the boat anytime we wanted and the dock was great to hang out and swim at. The local neighbors were welcoming and very nice. Absolutely loved our time there.

Weekend get away.

We just love this house. This is the second time we have stayed here. Three bathrooms are great for us. The house is all on one level so it makes it easier for us. Could have had a little better cleaning. Kitchen was also very good to cook all the meals.

Long Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay. We took our peddle boat and kayak si the dock access was perfect. Our great grandson had a blast. Just had a couple of issues: the kitchen sink is leaking so the plumber came by but it's not fixed; the 360 was missing the power cord; there was no kitchen sink plug so washing pots and pans was difficult.

Absolutely Remarkable

My family booked this location for a fun weekend getaway and we were not disappointed. 100% hands down one of the best places to stay with the most friendly people. The owner was very responsive. The ability to rent the boat for the weekend and have it there when you wanted to go out on the water made it that much better especially not having to load everyone up and go to a marina for a rental. The house had everything we needed, super clean. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend.

Good location.

Hosts were easy to be in touch with. Place had plenty of parking and beds for our fantasy football group. Plenty of amenities within a 15 minute drive. Our group how close the house was to the coves golf course for morning tee times. Only complaint was boat slip in dock was not wide enough for our boat so we had to tie to the outside of the dock. Our boat has a 10’ beam and the slip would accommodate boats with 8’ beams. We had no issues with the jet ski hydraport.Overall our group enjoyed our stay and plan to come back to the area again for our annual get together.

Had a great time with my grandkids visiting them they live in Oklahoma. The property was perfect. Plenty a room ask the property owner Matt I was out of propane and jumped on it right away and refilled the tanks. Overall stay was cold at the time. Plenty of games in the house to play with the kids. Thank you again for sharing your home with us

Great Property, Great Trip, Great Host

We had such a wonderful stay in this house! The location was fantastic, we loved the lake, the dock was wonderful. We have stayed in some houses with dicey walks down to the lake, but this is a very nice easy walk to the dock. The owner reached out a few weeks prior in case I had any questions. Communication was great! I thought very highly of that and really appreciated being able to communicate directly with the owner while I was there should I need anything. Beds were comfortable. House seemed very clean. It was also well stocked with some basic seasonings and a generous supply of paper products. This is our family's 4th annual 3 generation lake trip and this house/location/lot/dock has been our favorite!!

Wonderful stay.

We decided too take our daughter and her boyfriend to the lake for a graduation gift. Let me just tell you. This place was in a beautiful spot with fantastic views of the cove and the lake beyond. Every amenity was taken care of and the beads were very comfortable. The kids had a blast with the paddle boat and fishing and swimming off the large dock. If you have a boat you are really going to like this place. If you would rather just sit and watch nature at its finest you are really going to like this place. We will be back!

A Dream Come True

When we walked into this place, we all fell madly in love with it!!! We all said it was our dream home!! Matt has designed the perfect place, it’s spacious, comfortable, has fabulous decor, and all kinds of amenities!! We had 11 people in our party, and we had more than enough rom for everyone! The kitchen is state of the art, there’s two washers and dryers, a pool table, darts, corn hole, and numerous tvs throughout the house. There’s also a long table, numerous chairs, and a grill on the upstairs balcony. There’s a wonderful view of the lake!! The place is pristine, so I would give them an A+ on cleanliness!!!

Such a good time!

The house was beautiful with plenty of sleep space for everyone. We enjoyed the deck and the dock all weekend. Didn't know we weren't supposed to shoot baskets at the nearby hoop, so neighbor was upset about it but we stopped. Very close by Angry Rooster bar was great.

Very nice and spacious house

This house was very nice and spacious and exactly as was described. There were a few issues inside the house but nothing that affected our stay. There was plenty of space for all 12 of my family members. The offer of a boat rental was nice for the kids. Matt was exceptionally helpful with my numerous emails and questions. There is a drip coffee pot, a fully functional kitchen, and plenty of parking. The previous renters had left some food left some food and stuff, that was nice. There are two grocery store with 12 miles, one in Vinita, and one down by Disney. This is not a lake with options for bank swimming. It is very rocky, everywhere. Note, the anchor for the Pontoon is not heavy enough to hold it in anything but calm waters. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because there were a few things wrong. The dishwasher top shelf was a bit broken, a drawer in the fridge was broke, and one of the showers still had bugs. Also, we don't wear shoes in a house, all of our feet were black by end of night. However, the area and amenities more than made up for it. Also of note, the plates and some glasses were plastic, which was nice for the littles. Would definitely rent again.

Great location, perfect lake house!

The house is great! This was a work trip, but everyone commented about how great it would be to rent the house and boat, another time with friends and family. Plenty of room, great location, and clean.

Can't Beat This Location

Really enjoyed our stay! The location is right off the main lake making it easy to access the main lake and other channels including party cove. Short boat ride to ramps and Monkey Island. Beds were comfy with plenty of amenities.

Lake Weekend

We loved this lake house. The option to rent a boat from the owner was a bonus. We were able to take the boat out and come back for lunch or a float in the very calm and private cove, then head back out on the water. The boat was in pristine condition. We enjoyed the house as well, cute decorations and plenty of room. The bunk room was great for our teens.

Nice house, cranky neighbor

The house was nice and newly updated. There were plenty of bathrooms which is a plus. The back porch and deck was a nice, quiet place to relax with a nice view of the lake. The dock was great to jump in the water and swim and was shaded on the hottest part of the day which was a definite plus in 100+ temps! However, if you have seadoos, beware of the grumpy neighbor across the street. I have never been yelled at by a neighbor while renting a house on the lake. Apparently he thought 5mph in the No Wake Zone was too fast. Where we come from, that is acceptable but not in this area. Our seadoos naturally idle a little faster than he liked, making a minimal wake. After yelling at us from his front porch, he contacted the owners. We were appalled. We are not irresponsible or loud and are always respectful. That was the lowest point of our stay. Another issue, are the wasps! They are EVERYWHERE! If you are allergic to bee/ wasp stings BEWARE! Overall, it is a nice house. Next time, we will look for a house on open water :)
