This is a cozy comfortable property, the owner was very responsive to any questions that we had and was very helpful. This is a small property, 1 BR, 1 Bath but it is perfect for a couple or small family who wants to escape from the city and enjoy a little peace and quiet. The Hot Tub is fabulous, the fire pit is great, the back porch swing and front porch rockers are great for coffee, music, laughs and a good cigar! Its very close to the Lake and the "Downtown" area...

Good enough

The place was clean and in a great location. I don’t mind cleaning up before leaving, but there’s no dishwasher, so the dishes have been hand washed by whoever stayed there last. You have to wash the towels before you leave, and there’s no bleach, so the towels are badly stained. We used the pull-out sofa. The linens provided were a flat sheet and an old duvet cover. There were 20 extra pillowcases, but the extra pillows were square- like giant throw pillows. There’s a keurig but no regular coffee pot. They provided 2 K-cups. We would have brought our own coffee pot if there had been ANY communication from the owner. It’s clearly a managed property, so expect to have your concerns addressed by a VRBO staffer. They did provide hand soap, dish soap, and laundry soap. Random spices were in the cabinet. There was a toaster. This was a budget find and met our needs on short notice.

Quaint Cabin

The Azalea House was in a good location and easy to find. The inside of the cabin was small, but nice for two people. There were thr things that kept me from leaving a five star review, (1) The front yard of the property looked nothing like the pictures on Vrbo. Yes, it was the end of fall, however, no effort was made to clear any leaves and considering the fees, not nightly rate, one pays to book, some effort would have been appreciated as even where to park was not clearly defined. (2) The hot tub is listed as a perk, however, neither myself or my friend could get it to turn on. (3) The booking/cleaning fees were quite high, yet I had a rather long list of "chores" to do before I left as to not incur any additional fees. Overall, I had a good stay.

Great place for price

It’s not the nicest cabin or neighborhood, but it was great for us. The hot tub was really nice and everything in the cabin worked like it was supposed to. Mr and my friends had a great time and it was perfect for a weekend getaway. Good location in relation to the stuff to do in Broken Bow.

40TH Wedding anniversary getaway

Had a little trouble figuring out the Hot Tub but got it working. It is a nice feature on this property. Very quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed for cooking and relaxing was in the cabin. Close to fishing and Talahina Drive.

The Cabin itself was great….. but

The home itself was Great very clean, very Nice. There was only a couple of issues, the doors didn’t lock very well and there were lights out on the front and back porch. The property is not as private as it looks in the photos. Overall we had a great time and again the cabin itself was very nice and clean.

Book It!

This was such a relaxing weekend, the perfect getaway! I was skeptical of the RV park, however there were only a few RV’s and it still felt really secluded. Very peaceful weekend, I’d definitely come back!

Honeymoon stay

First off, the house was beautiful , clean, and in a great location. We did have a few issues with this rental. I received my "instructions" email approximately 2 1/2 -3 weeks before we were do to check in. I read the instruction's, and had a few question's about the "cleaning fee." The instruction's stated that if I had any question's to email or call and provided the info for both. My question that I emailed to the email address provided was, Why am I being charged for a $122.00 cleaning fee, if I am responsible for washing and putting away all dished used, taking out all trash and doing the laundry that was used? I never got a response. I tried to call and wasn't able to speak to anyone either. When we arrived to the cabin, there was a dirty air filter sitting on top of the trash can in the kitchen....guess that was my responsibility to depose of also!? Don't tell your quest to ask question's and then don't respond. This was my honeymoon and the last thing I wanted to do was laundry and dishes that I was charged a fee for to begin with!!!

Quiet, soothing experience.

The cabin was clean, well organized, and well appointed. It had almost everything we needed and there was a little store right down the road where we could pick up what we forgot. All the appliances, A/C, water faucets, etc worked as expected. The hot tub was wonderful once I figured out how to raise the temperature. (instructions would be nice) The only issue was keeping the sliding laundry area doors on their tracks. We spent 5 nights and had a relaxed, restful time. Beaver's Bend State Park is right down the road with lots of activities, and Hochtown is also close and has numerous options for dining. We liked the "down home" style of food most offered. Overall, we were very pleased and are planning to return again when we can.

Great getaway

Everything was almost perfect. There was no propane for the grill so I had to cook my steaks inside. The hot tub didn't work but that could have been because of the freezing temperatures. Otherwise we had a relaxing and peaceful weekend.

Lovely little cabin in a rural setting but next to an RV park

The cabin was great. We enjoyed ourselves. Two things that took away from our experience. There are no window coverings for the high windows in the bedroom that face the RV park. So the light at night in the bedroom can be a problem. Also the hot tub didn't warm up.

Nice stay

Enjoyed our time. This would have made it better: 1. We didn’t get an email beforehand on how to check in. There was also nothing in my VRBO inbox when I called customer service to help. 2. There were no instructions on how to use the hot tub. We didn’t want to mess it up, so unfortunately we did not get to use it. A short “how to” on the hot tub would have been helpful. 3. It said to take the trash out. We didn’t know where to take the trash. We we just gathered it and set it by the front door on the inside so no animals would mess with it. 4. The baking pan didn’t fit in the small oven. So we had to cook with the oven door open slightly open
