Il Taylor Lodge è una cabina A-Frame con 2 camere da letto e 1 bagno che può ospitare comodamente fino a 4 persone. C'è una vasca e doccia combinate nel bagno ed elettrodomestici costituiti da un frigorifero, scivolo nella gamma elettrica, piano di cottura a microonde e lavastoviglie per le vostre esigenze di cottura. C'è un grande camino a legna nella camera familiare con un grande televisore a LED montato sul camino. I servizi includono anche tv satellitare e internet satellitare con wifi gratuito. Questo lodge vanta un ponte avvolgente con viste incredibili sul lago e sulla cresta e molti posti a sedere all'aperto per rilassarsi per ore. Dai un'occhiata al Cash lodge se non hai bisogno di internet wireless e TV satellitare. Vicino a Castor River, parchi statali, Taum Sauk, Johnson's Shut-Ins, Millstream Gardens, Pickle Springs, Elephant Rocks e molte cantine. Godetevi la pesca o seduti sul ponte con vista sul lago. Fun time at the lake

Could not have been better

From the check-in process to checking out, everything was perfect. The property was in incredible shape and my son and I had an absolute blast fishing, exploring, and walking the paths. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway or a trip. Dan was great to deal with. Thank for a great father son trip!

Great Family place

This place was amazing something for everyone in the family. My husband enjoyed the fishing. The kids had a blast swimming and exploring. I had fun watching it all and the nature.

Great property great owners very respectful

Was very impressed property was very well taken care of owners were very respectful and courteous we had a very great time and are looking at coming back next year if we don’t buy property in Missouri first if I could give a 10 star rating I would because they deserve it owner even brought us donuts out which was very unexpected but very thoughtful best of wishes to the owners and family we really appreciate the hospitality shown to us

Quiet nature stay

The property was very clean and decorated nicely. The view from the deck was relaxing and amazing at the same time. We enjoyed the trails, the swim dock and the paddle boats. And in the evening we had a nice fire. The wood pile helped ! All the extras supplied where just a bonus to make us comfortable. We’d love to come again!

Great Getaway

What a great place! Dan made the check in/out process very simple. The house was clean, cozy and accommodating. Everything was well stocked… even fire pit was ready to go. The land was beautiful and well kept. Perfect getaway from our crazy covid lives. Thank you!

Excellent getaway

Most of our spring/summer plans were cancelled due to COVID, so we decided to try and find a rental for a long weekend away from most other people. We came across this listing and instantly fell in love with the pictures! The property was even more beautiful then the pictures depicted and so peaceful. The house was comfortable and well stocked and we enjoyed the waterfall, the lake, and the trails in the woods. This rental was a delightful experience and we hope to rent again in the future!

Perfect Weekend Away

Our big summer vacation was cancelled due to COVID-19. We decided to turn lemons into lemonade and find a place as far away from others as possible. Carver Lake did not disappoint! The Taylor Lodge is such a fun, unique cabin. We had a great time hiking both the property and local trails. We played in the creek and watched sunsets over the lake. Having the comforts of home after a full day of exploring was much needed. Casual decor, lots of natural lighting, plenty of fans. Loved all the windows, the deck and the VIEW!

Great, relaxing spot!

This cabin was just what our family needed for a quick spring break trip. The cabin itself was in great shape, everything was clean and comfortable. The extra attention to details made everything more enjoyable - firewood, bottled water for the city folk, the basket of welcome goodies on the table. We went on a few hikes that were well worth the drive. The first was to the Castor River Shut Ins and the second was to Pickle Springs. We also brought our own kayak and paddled around the lake on that and the paddle boat, despite some pretty frosty temperatures. The private waterfall is beautiful and those who were willing to risk their shoes getting wet crossed the spillway to walk the trails on the other side. As with most places in the country, do plan to arrive in the daylight.

Peaceful Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Taylor Lodge in July. The cabin is very well taken care of and exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable. The upstairs where the queen bed is located, is a loft open to the downstairs. The cabin is near the water with a small dock, and a short walk through grass (or drive) to the larger swim dock and boat entrance. We saw deer, an armadillo and lots of birds. We loved having a camp fire and making smores by the lake. We highly recommend renting the boats which made the lake more enjoyable. The bass, while small, were biting during our stay. The water was clean and the dock has a ladder to climb up. We were the only ones at the property during our stay, but if the other cabin was rented you would share the swim dock. The water level was low, so no waterfall, but it would be stunning if the water level was higher. The trails were a little overgrown and maybe more for ATVs than hiking, but we did venture out on them. The whole property is beautiful and well taken care of. There is a small creek nearby that the kids enjoyed walking through and catching crawdads. We also greatly enjoyed the Castor River Shut-ins. One word of caution is that the roads are very curvy and arriving in daylight would be beneficial if not familiar with the area.

My Birthday Weekend

We had so much fun and caught lots of fish. The A-frame was amazing. The pond below waterfall was so nice and a great place to catch a fish on every cast! 🤣 If other people would have have stayed at the Cash Property we would have felt uncomfortable asking to use the boats and dock as it is all at the other property. The city of Perryville is 12 miles, but about a 20-25 minute drive so make sure you take everything you need, including supplies. On the joking side, I was watching the KC Chiefs game and TV is on a timer so didn’t see the last minutes of the game! Be careful of the spiral staircase down to the lake and going upstairs to the main bedroom. What a Beautiful and Peaceful place! 5 STARS ⭐️!

Paradise lost

Carver lodge/ Carver lake were exactly what we needed. Serenity, calm, relaxing. What more can I say? It's very rural! Extremely peaceful, and beautiful. I caught 40 bass between a pound and pound and a half. I also caught the biggest bluegill that I've caught since I was a kid. We used one of the row boats to ferry our cooler and things to the swim floatila. We spent hours and hours, drinking, and laughing, and just being together. It was a very memorable time. The cabin was comfortable. Satellite TV and internet. We had a campfire one evening until the thunderstorms came. BBQed and ate at the picnic area under the umbrella. Then we watched the beavers swimming around in the lake until it was too dark to see. Absolutely terrific!

Relaxing getaway

Property and house are spectacular. Beautiful views and lots of wildlife. The grounds and trails are well manicured and easy to navigate. We hiked the trails daily. House was very clean and well stocked with water, linens and some snacks. Owner provided plenty of brochures for things to do close by. We took many field trips to state parks, wineries and St. Genevieve, as well as Perryville. We highly recommend Jackson Street Brewhouse. Excellent brick oven pizza. Overall, a very nice experience.

Private and relaxing

Our family rented both cabins on the property and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed fishing and swimming from the dock and using the paddle boats to get out to the swim deck. Property is beautiful and provided a perfect family escape.

Great place for quality family time.

This property is amazing! The Taylor Lodge very clean and comfortable with lots of seating inside and out. There is a dock right out the back of the lodge that is great for fishing. Our sons especially enjoyed being able to swim, paddle boat, canoe, and fish in the lake. For me, it was great to relax on the large dock overlooking the lake, sitting in a lounge chair, reading a book. This place is great for anyone looking to escape the real world for a while and relax with family and/or friends.

Country Paradise

Us high school friends for 45+ years had the best time & this is the perfect place to unwind. Owners have put in all the special touches to make people feel welcomed & love the spotlight on family with service banners & road signs on trails. Appreciated the tour of this beautiful property by Dan. Enjoyed the sounds of the waterfall & sitting areas throughout the property as well. The lake was great for chillin & fishing.. We will be back!!

This 100 acre farm was purchased by the Carver family in 2016. For many years, Dan Carver Jr. (the father) and Dan Carver III (the son) often talked about wanting to own a farm. Needless to say, this was the second farm they looked at, and once they saw it, had to own it. They were impressed with the fact there were two separate lodges at opposite ends of the property, a 17 acre lake stocked with largemouth bass, channel catfish, and bluegill, and a natural 30 foot waterfall with a large plungepool, the sound of which could put you to sleep in minutes. They were also impressed that two spring-fed creeks runs through one whole side of the farm and there were hiking/ATV trails throughout most of the property. The abundant wildlife that often come through the property and lake views from both lodges sealed the deal. The father and son were so excited, in fact, that they made an offer on the farm right then, and quickly realized they would have to go home to explain to their wives what they had done. Fortunately, their wives were excited and quickly went down to see what projects the family should start first to begin making the farm as fun as possible. This farm is a labor of love for the Carvers and they are excited to allow others to enjoy the property by renting out both lodges, the proceeds of which will be reinvested into the farm to continually improve it for future guests. They are excited to share their recent projects on their Facebook page and on the Recent Project Page on this website. Now included free of charge: one jon boat and one paddle boat per reservation is free to use. The Taylor Lodge is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath A-Frame cabin that sleeps up to 6 people. It has central air and heat and offers 1,040 square feet of cozy country living. Besides the queen bed in the master and the bunk bed in the kids bedroom, there is also a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the family room with an upgraded memory foam mattress. There is a tub and shower combo in the bathroom and appliances consisting of a refrigerator, slide in electric range, countertop microwave, and a dishwasher for your cooking needs. There is a large wood-burning fireplace in the family room with a large LED tv mounted on the fireplace. Amenities also included satellite tv and satellite internet with free wifi. This lodge boasts a wrap around deck with unbelievable views of the lake and ridge, and plenty of outdoor deck seating to hang out for hours. Close to Castor River, state parks, Taum Sauk, Johnson's Shut-Ins, Millstream Gardens, Pickle Springs, Elephant Rocks, and many wineries. Enjoy fishing, swimming, or sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. You can also check out the natural 30 foot waterfall or hike along the various trails leading throughout the property.
