Great cabin in the heart of the Rockies

My family and I loved it. We were greeted in the mornings by wild deer. It was amazing. Great cozy cabin with all you need to enjoy your stay. Will definitely book again.

Hiking vacation

Nice cabin a bit far but exactly what we were looking for our winter stay. Snow storm before we got there, and another while in the cabin. Nice and cozy, but wished had a fire place or a working/accessible fire stove. That said, do recommend based on what you want.

Perfectly located

I loved how centrally located this place was from all the adventures around, bet I Garden of the Gods, Pike National Forest or the Royal Gorge. The property owners were easy to contact and willing to assist with any questions. The home was beautiful and just right for our girls weekend away.

Quiet cabin beautiful scenery

We decided last minute to come to Colorado Springs area but wanted to be in the mountains. This cabin was perfect. 20 minute drive to pikes peak or Colorado Springs but nestled in the hills.

Wonderfully scenic view

Great property to get away with amazing views, quiet stay, and nice location for drives into different towns/cities. Good place for kids to explore outdoors but not to be kept inside. We would definitely stay here again!

Great weekend getaway

My wife and I loved the cabin for a beautiful weekend getaway. Exploring Woodland Park, touring the Ice Castles, and seeing wolves at the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center was amazing. The area was beautiful and quiet and much needed retreat. The house was clean, warm and welcoming and watching mule deer from the deck was awesome.

Clean, equipped and great views!

The cabin was a nice place to relax and just take in how beautiful the mountains are. It was quiet, even with a new cabin being built nearby. There was even a deer that was grazing near the cabin daily that we got to watch up close. Great stay!

Quiet, scenic get away

The location was perfect for beautiful drives to all the local city/towns. The view from the cabin was amazing and peacefully located. It’s a wonderful place to get away and the kids have plenty of outdoors to play. The cabin had most anything you could need, but it’s best to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels, not much available to use.

Cabin in the mountains

We enjoyed our time at the Divide cabin. Quiet and scenic, house was great, plenty of room for our family of 6. Felt very much a home away from home but with the "get away" feel. Had everything we needed stocked which was so helpful! Property smelled wonderfully of pine, and had great views! After a not so great flight for me (the mom), I rested well in the fresh sheets and was comforted by the message on the wooden sign in the upstairs bedroom:) Thank you for that!

The road into the property can be rough, but access to this particular cabin is limited to AWD or 4WD vehicles. And add rain or snow, and it would be 4WD in low gear only. The cabin was well equipped in all areas, i.e. kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms, and included a washer/dryer which come in handy due to the remote location. Grounds were clean and well kept. Too bad the wood burning stove inside is not available.

So relaxing!

Had a great weekend stay. The cabin was well stocked with everything we could have needed and we enjoyed lots of time on the front porch with the fire pit. Our only issue was the steep driveway. The Chevy Equinox we were in couldn't quite make it up so we had to back it up the drive. Other than that we had a great stay and look forward to staying again.

Family Trip

The cabin itself is exactly what you would want for a mountain vacation. Very quiet and secluded. Cabin was clean and as described. The beds were not very comfortable (especially the queen) but otherwise it was great. Had mule deer come right up to the back deck within 10 feet of my daughter which was fantastic. The drive into the property can be a challenge - we arrived at night and even with turn-by-turn directions from the manager, we went down wrong road. It was difficult to see road signs, but during the day we had no issues. The driveway is very steep as described - we made it up without too much issue with our minivan with a running start. Be aware of this if booking when snow could be in play.

Family Vacation

Overall our stay was great! Just a few things to note, there’s absolutely no service. Which is my bad because they do have WiFi. Our only issue was our little one split his leg open on a rock, I couldn’t find a first aid kit and couldn’t get ahold of the manager because they don’t have an iPhone. Not a reason not to choose here just something to prepare for. If you have little ones (under 5) be prepared to have eyes on them all the time. A lot of rocks, and fall offs. There isn’t any AC and we of course stayed during the 90s, night time was completely fine with fans. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and I would stay here again.

Cozy cabin in the woods!

This super cute cabin in the woods was just awesome for a getaway weekend. Close to Cripple Creek and Victor. Very clean and a fully stocked kitchen with enough stuff to make just about anything you want. Plenty of towels for everyone. Plenty of windows for nice mountain breezes. We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck while watching the stars. We'll definitely be back!

Quaint mountain cabin with scenic views

Clean place with easy check-in & checkout. The location is great and full of scenic views and wildlife but if you intend on traveling toward the surrounding towns with more entertainment, it can be a lot of driving. With that said, we still enjoyed our stay. 4-wheel drive most definitely recommended!
