In the summer of 1980, my parents opened our house to the public and ran a bed and breakfast. I'll never forget the people that I met. Filmmakers from Boston and Israel, singles wanting to experience what it was like to live and work on a hobby farm, a young single mother who wanted to bring her daughter to the countryside for respite. These were experiences imprinted on my young mind.
By the time our first two children were born, I knew that I wanted to operate a BnB. Fast forward many years and many locations. My husband and I have lived short or long term in many cities, including Winnipeg, Toronto, London, Dublin, San Francisco and White Rock before we fled the suburbs for a more rural, quieter life giving us the opportunity to host.

Our suite is quiet, clean and serene. If you come from the noise of the city, you'll marvel at how quiet it can be. Occasionally you can hear the roar of a truck bringing supplies up or down the coast or the clucking of a chopper motorcycle and you may even hear a floatplane land in the water near our stretch of coastline but mostly, it's the hum of bees, the songs of local birds and even the frogs in our stream that make the most noise.
