Grand property marred by maintenance issues
This property has a lot going for it: location, spacious, fully appointed kitchen, games for the kids and comfortable beds. Very sad that the realty management company failed at so many opportunities for customer service. Prior to arrival I received a phone call from a rep, stating I could call her any time with issues and she would be my contact. From the day of arrival, however, she informed me she was "off", and we were passed to 3 other reps, who were not able to solve the issues. The night we arrived, we wasted 7 hours trying to turn on one TV. We finally figured out on our own that all the remotes were mixed up from room to room.The plumbing in the first floor (brand new water heater) was not fixed until our last day there. Their installers set the temp to tepid and the hot/cold cartridges were crossed. They fixed the torn lanai screen and two door handles that were broken off three days in. Nice to have games like ping pong, but no balls. Fire table would have been a nice touch with the colder weather, but it was broken. The pool was serviced, but the kids continued having symptoms so I took a sample to the pool store and the chemicals were all high. Also, there was so little salt in the saltwater pool, it was not making chlorine. This property could have been A, with a property managment company that communicated. How their team missed so many issues before we even arrived is unblievable, but once notified, they were easy fixes.
