Home Sweet Home

Deep clean needed

The hallway to the room 1801 smelled like cow poop. When you got closer it smelled like dirty bum. The unit smelled clean when we went in though. The back of the chairs at the table were dirty. Like could scrape the dirt off them with your nail. The hutch I ended up wiping down cause their was dried things stuck to it. Bedspread had a hard crusty brown spot on it. The sofa and loveseat had a stain on the back of each. Thankful we brought blankets to put down cause….eww. Rooms are small. Don’t expect to sleep on the pull out couch. Bars to the back. Very thin and worn. No one would ever describe it as comfy. The bar below was entertaining. Expect to pay $10/drink. People also sing until 11pm. They sing very badly too! Stray cats are everywhere if you like cats. Also geese and ducks. All over the place strolling around and pooping so wear shoes. They closed the water park on site so they could paint buckets. Not sure what sense this made when they could’ve just waited a few weeks when they officially closed it for the season. Lazy River was great. Pool was great. Ramps to the beach were great.

Beautiful vacation with!

This place is so nice. We stayed in Renesance Tower (Myrtle Beach Resort), in the 18th floor, had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen, living room and dining area was an open concept and the balcony was huge to the front of the ocean and it was great. Nice gated resort on the beach. Lots of amenities for families, several pools including lazy river, tennis courts, basketball courts, etc. Large resort with several picnic areas with cookers. Nicely landscaped with ponds with ducks, geese, and a swan and so much more right here on the property. Really you could park and not need to leave. The location of this property is very ideal for families. The "gated community" feel with on site security is a huge plus. Quick walk to the beach. My family really enjoyed our time there.

Family vacation

When we arrived, I knew the place would be nice. It has the perfect view of the ocean. I'm glad we picked this condo. If I would've pick downtown Mrytle, we'd probably have left early. The beaches are nice. Quarter deck had great food and drinks. So many pools. Overall great family trip

A lovely place to stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The resort had everything we needed. It was exactly as show in the photos. We took advantage of all the pools, hot tubs, and other amenities offered. Our children had so much fun! We used the laundry facilities and they were priced well and worked nicely. The restaurant and cafe allowed us to not need to leave the resort. Everything from our stay was wonderful and we will likely be returns and try to stay in this condo again. The only small con was the karaoke. We were staying with small children and it was incredibly loud until 11:00pm. I could tell the guests weee having a good time but it made it difficult to get the children to sleep. Once it ended at 11, it was very quiet and serene to hear the waves outside our unit.

Fun time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The view of the ocean was incredible, the weather was great, and short walks to the beach and pool were perfect. The big downside was the “Takeover by Ocean Lakes”!! Every freaking night, the bar on Myrtle Beach Resort property was taken over by the people from the campground. The bar had Karayoke every night from 7:00 - 11:00p, and it was HORRIBLE!! We couldn’t enjoy the nights on our deck because of the drunkfest going on at the bar, and the bad sounds of Karayoke singing. We couldn’t even enjoy a night at the bar because it was not what I’d call a family environment.

No need to even leave the resort!

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was spacious and very well decorated! Our family loved The Quarterdeck bar and grill with live entertainment almost all day every day! We enjoyed the multiple pools/lazy river and playground for the kiddos! After buying groceries, I could have just stayed at the resort all week! We will def be back!!

Amazing view, great vacation.

This was our second time stay at the RT. This condo is ocean front with an amazing view. It was clean. The beds are comfortable. The only issue we had was the guest bathroom sink wouldn't drain. But we called it in and they fixed it right away. This vacation was during the covid ordeal so we couldn't enjoy all of the amenities. I recommend the Myrtle Beach Resort especially the RT. Also while visiting Myrtle Beach plan to have a meal at the Lobster House. It is close to the Resort and the food and price can't be best. And for some good food and family entertainment I recommend going to the Polynesian Fire. We really had a good time.

Otherwise unit was clean and nice. Resort amnesties were mostly closed but under circumstances we understood. Staff was pleasant and management company was very nice to work with during rental process.

Couldn't ask for more

We have 2 small children so sometimes we get "stuck" in the room for longer than we want based on their needs, but this room is right in front of the quarter deck and you can hear the music from your balcony. So you can still feel like part of the action. The view is 100% perfect. It had every accessory of home, including board games! Could use tiny updates like replacing the balcony chairs because the feet are rusting due to water pooling after a rainstorm. Home away from home. I wish I could stay all year!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 눇The Villa was very nice, beautiful and clean. We scheduled for 3 nights. MBR & Maintenance Staff dropped the ball. They failed to assist me the customer, with my Vacation accommodations, when a major water leak from a service closet happened approximately 24 hours into my Vacation.Night 1, Wednesday, was wonderful. Everything was in order.Thursday Evening, Night 2 - a 'locked' service closet leak filled the floor with water. I called the only "1", resort contact number provided. The recording stated the office was closed, call 911 for an emergency."I stayed up all night using beach towels to absorb the water. "I thought the water was from the hidden Air Conditioning. So we turned the AC up to 80 - to keep AC from turning on at all, dealt with the excessive heat, to slow the water. Called back to the office at business hours for help. The leak continued throughout the day without any resolution. The maintenance group (6) were unable to do anything. I was told that the "3" different property parties involved, would not do any repairs until they decided "who owned the repair costs. The water continued to drain from the walls, leaking onto the Villa below on the 17th floor, and maintenance concluded could be coming from above on the 20th floor. I called Myrtle Beach Resort back and requested a manager. He's gone for the weekend, advised me to call back on Monday. I asked to note my account that we would be checking out and expecting a refund. The MBR Rep comforted me by telling me that I would not be responsible for the water damage because I didn't cause the break of water line. So I will be in contact with Myrtle Beach Resort to try an resolve a ruined vacation spent soaking up water to to attempt to prevent further damage. I cannot explain how disappointed, exhausted and frustrated we senior citizens are with this trip experience. I will be expecting a refund from Myrtle Beach Resort. thank you, franki

BEST CONDO EVER

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have gone to Myrtle Beach four times and three of the four times we have stayed in the Renaissance Tower at Myrtle Beach Resort. We even stayed on the 22nd floor before and this was still by far my favorite condo of them all. The paint color and decor were sunny and tropical rather than super "beachy". I love palm trees and there were PLENTY in the condo. There were still a few "beachy" accents too though. The coach and love seat were clean and very comfortable! The kitchen was VERY well stocked, literally had a problem finding room for our food. The ice maker was a WONDERFUL touch also. The hardwood tile floor was very nice and easy to maintain. I think my favorite part was the way the bed was placed with the foot of the bed towards the balcony. Also the height of the bed because when needing privacy from the balcony and was still able to open the blinds on the side view window, sit on the bed and see the waves roll in all the way up the beach. The views from the balcony and side window were quite different and MAGNIFICENT!!! The second bedroom was bright and inviting also. One thing I love about the oceanfront rooms in the tower is that the second bedroom has a very decent view of the ocean as well. This location was perfect for us too because we prefer enjoying the beach without all the hustle and bustle yet there were still enough enmities on site for entertainment including The Quarterdeck with tasty food, drinks and entertainment when on the balcony. Plenty of local stores for both beach and regular stuff. When things got really busy in the lobby there were attendants there to help keep everyone in order and get everyone loaded as quickly as possible. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. The Rental Management was very helpful. They communicated with us through the entire process. Also, since we were traveling all the way from northwestern VA they let us come by and pick up our welcome packet. We were even able to check in a few hours early.
