Other Things to Note:
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.

Please note: There will be a call out charge if we are called out after hours. Eg: Losing Keys.

Nostalgic Beach House

We loved staying here at Sandy Point. The house was very comfortable, a short walk to the beach and store. We wanted to stay longer, the place had everything we needed, even a backyard koala sighting! We will come back for sure.

Quirky with plenty of living spaces

We enjoyed the 70's vibe of the house. There were plenty of living spaces to come together and play games or sit quietly and read. Perfect distance to the beach to check out the surf.

Each stay getaway

Retro pad with everything you need for a family getaway. Great location close to the shops, beach , tennis courts & basketball half-court. Time really slows down in Sandy Point. Positioned well to explore further afield, with Wilson's Prom and other south Gippsland towns closeby. The perfect place to really get away from the fast pace of daily life.

Good for Family

Good place to stay with the family. Full fledge kitchen and 2 toilets and shower offer a lot of flexibility. The mattresses on the bunk beds were a bit soft and personally I didn't enjoy sleeping on soft mattresses.

Excellent location, but disappointment on arrival

The house is old, but beautifully styled. Need to fix dripping taps and could do with replacement of shower head and toilet seats. It hadn’t been used for some time with moisture absorbers full of water, in need of an air, and lots of daddy long legs spiders. It wasn’t clean when we arrived - pantry full of open food, pantry moths and a dirty dish in oven, but this was remedied with cleaner coming in when I brought it to the Prom accomodations attention. There are no fly screens / broken fly screens upstairs- which meant lots of mosquitos / flies- it wasn’t too hot while we stayed but you daren’t open a window at night time to let a nice sea breeze in which is a real shame. Excellent location. Great amenities and useful/ well equiped kitchen. No dishwasher, great washing machine (has dryer too but didn’t use). Nice having several different living spaces, cosy with TVs and wifi. Driveway narrow and had to reverse around a corner - start steep which would be challenging in a low car.
