Quite area

The location was great. Very quiet area. Quick access to store and beach access. The hose was clean and had everything we needed to make meals. TV on each bedroom so everyone could wind down and watch what they wanted. Woody was great before and during and after the stay. Will definitely try to book for future visits. Fire pit with the lights were a good extra.

Pleasant cottage, easy access to beach

This is a pleasant cottage in a nice neighborhood with easy access to Atlantic Beach. The walk to the beach is down a neighborhood street and across the main road-short walk but may be a hot walk, thus driving and parking at the Hyatt is easy. We enjoyed the shady front deck, the well equipped kitchen and beach toys, and comfortable LR. Woody, your host, is very responsive, helpful and available; one of the best hosts we've encountered.

Amazing!

Everything about the property was amazing! There were 7 of us total (5 adults, 2 kids-8/5), and not once did we ever feel like we were on top of one another. The yard was perfect for our dogs and the neighborhood was nice and quiet, which was perfect for walking them in the mornings and evenings. Woody was great to work with and the entire trip was fantastic! We will definitely stay again!

Great place - would definitely be back!

Our stay was wonderful and the place was perfect! Great location very close to the beach and several good restaurants. The place was so clean and had amenities many other rentals dont offer! The home was also well kept and so nicely decorated that we enjoyed just relaxing at the house and enjoying the space on a few of our rainy days and took advantage of the large back deck for reading in the sunshine on some of the nice days. Woody was very responsive and helpful and made our check in and out process so easy! We will definitely be back!

Great Location

We were very pleased with the location of the rental as well as the communication with the property manager. The size of the rental was perfect. The only suggestion I have would be to perhaps check behind the cleaning crew as the garbage from the previous tenants had not been emptied.

Great location and size

Very enjoyable stay. The host, Woody, was proactive with communication and checking after we arrived to ensure everything was OK. The home was well furnished and stocked. The large lockable shed was great for storing our bikes and other items. It also contained several beach carts and boogie boards. The lot size was great for parking both truck and small boat and on street parking wasn't an issue either for the boat too as the neighborhood doesn't have a lot of traffic. The beach is in walking distance, although about 1/4 to the end of the street and another 200 or so yards to the public access. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely stay

We had a perfect vacation in this well kept beach bungalow. It was equipped with all our needs and beautifully decorated. Felt much more like a home than other vacation rentals where we have stayed. Highly recommend!

Perfect for Beach Lovers!

I met up with my daughter and her husband and our 3 fur babies in beautiful Atlantic Beach, NC for 10 days over July 4th holiday. The home was clean, well stocked and met all of our needs. Although not fenced in, the large deck out back was enclosed, which was great for hanging out as we used the grill with dogs unleashed. There is also a remote-controlled awning for shade on deck. We did not use the fire pit but it looked inviting...more of a fall amenity for us. The best part is the close beach access. You could walk but we decided it was too hot. We drove the 2 min to the Doubletree public access beach parking and used the beach wagon provided by the host to bring our beach gear. That beach cart was a real perk! Leashed dogs are allowed on the beach. The beach had a pier and access to the Doubletree cafe where you could buy food and drinks. The beach itself was simply beautiful. No seaweed. Very clean. Surprisingly not overly crowded, even on July 4th. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation and would highly recommend this rental. Woody was a great host and gave us firework location tips and more helpful info about the area.

Great location!

My daughter and her husband plus our 3 fur babies had an awesome 10 day 4th of July week vacation. The house met our needs in every way. The location close to the beach was the best part. It was too hot to walk so we drove 2 minutes to the Doubletree public beach parking. We used the beach cart in the shed to bring all our beach gear close to the water. That cart is a nice perk! The beach was beautiful and dog friendly! It was not overly crowded even on the July 4th holiday. Doubletree had a cafe with beach access where you could get lunch and drinks. There was a guy renting beach recliners and umbrellas too. Woody, the owner, was very helpful and gave us advice about the local sights. The outdoor shower by the back deck was very convenient after a day at the beach. Lots to do in Atlantic Beach and surrounding area. We would love to go back! If you like the beach, highly recommend this vacation rental!

Shady home in quiet neighborhood

My husband, our dog and I were on the Outer Banks to attend our nephew's destination wedding on May the 4th. We were very pleased to find the home was in a quiet neighborhood off the main road and not on it, as we are both early to bed people. We enjoyed the Palm Tree shaded front porch every morning with our coffee. There is easy walking access through the neighborhood to a view of the Sound, which Maxx enjoyed as much as we did. The public access to the beach is also within walking distance but we found it just as easy to take our car there and park at the far end of the Double Tree Hotel. Woody, the host, was very accommodating in the special requests we asked. He was pleasant to deal with, quick to respond to texts as our date fast approached. The home was clean, the couches and bed comfortable. Our Boxer dog, Maxx, was equally comfortable. We would highly recommend this host and this home if you are headed to this area.

Beautiful neighborhood close to beach

This house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The beach access was about a 10 minute walk but there was also plenty of parking when we chose to drive. In the evenings we loved using the quiet outdoor patio with retractable awning. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

This property was absolutely great! The listing was exactly as shown. It was a beautiful property in a great area. Less then a 10 minute walk to beach access. The fire pit was one of our favorite amenities. Very well furnished. And the host was absolutely amazing. He made sure we had everything we needed and the one time we didn’t have something he made sure we had it in a timely manner. He was very accommodating. 10/10 would recommend this property to anyone!

Wonderful Property

My parents and I rented this cozy home for the weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The host was very accommodating and communicative. He left helpful notes and instructions throughout the home and provided extra toiletries and firewood for the brand new fire pit in the back yard. The house was extremely clean and the back deck was enclosed and perfect for us to sit outside with our pups. This was one of the best rentals we have stayed in in AB and would definitely stay here again!
