Nestled in the trees is a very rare and secluded year round log home on the shores of the Rideau River. This convenient location is only a 5 minute drive to the main part of Kemptville and 30 minutes from Ottawa.

Winter activities include snowmobiling (trail is at the end of the driveway), snowshoeing trails, cross country skiing, and ice fishing.

Summer activities include boating (long reach), swimming, hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, horseback riding, and ATV trails at your doorstep.

Gorgeous and cozy. Super clean. Newly renovated

We stayed in this cozy cottage for a long weekend in Aug. It was lovely An easy-to-reach owner with a renovated cottage and a just gorgeous view Fantastic deck and lovely views A paddle board and a canoe were available to have fun, and all you needed, like a life vest and noodles, all good stuff Super clean sheets and towels Robes are available for your comfort A hot top on the deck Highly recommended It is the best fit for six people, not more

Nice and secluded. The dock has incredible views. Sandy bottom, clear water, we really enjoyed our stay.

Nestled in the trees is a very rare and secluded year round log home on the shores of the Rideau River. This convenient location is only a 5 minute drive to the main part of Kemptville and 30 minutes from Ottawa.

Amenities include all the conveniences of home such as full kitchen with gas range, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, flat screen smart TV's in every room, and unlimited high speed WiFi.

The house has 2 bedrooms, each with king size beds and smart TV's.

Inside you'll find bespoke details such as textured leather wallpaper, custom bathroom vanity made from an old whiskey barrel, a mix of antique and mid century modern furniture, and industrial style light fixtures. The spa like bathroom features a soaker tub and premium fixtures.

In Summer the water is about 2 feet deep at the end of the dock and you are welcome to tie up your boat. I advise to check depths before docking as the water levels can fluctuate depending on the time of year
