Desriable Location in Isle of Palms - Quaint Beach Home! Close to the beach!

Centrally located in Isle of Palms, this home is a delightful family beach house. It is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home, and about 5 minutes walking to the beach. The large back yard and front screened in porch are perfect for entertaining.

Upon arrival, you will find the main staircase of the home will have you enter inside the vast screened in porch. There is a hammock for your lounging needs and plenty of seating to enjoy the ocean breeze, or enjoy a family meal. Once inside, you walk into the open floor concept of the living room, kitchen, and dining room. The living room has enough seating for the family to gather around the flat screen TV. The large kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with cups, dishes and your basic needs to get started on your vacation. The dining room seats 6 and there are 2 additional bar stools at the kitchen island for your convenience.

To the right of the front door, just past the living room, sits the master bedroom with a queen bed. It has a nice size private bathroom with a shower. To the left of the front door, you will go down the hallway to find the remaining three bedrooms. On the left side of the hallway, is a bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom. To the right, is a guestroom with a set of bunk beds. This room also houses the laundry units in the closet. At the end of the hallway, is the last bedroom which has two twin beds. The bathroom access is from the hallway for these two bedrooms and any guests coming to visit.

On the back deck of the home, you will have a propane gas grill and a staircase that goes down to the expansive backyard. There is plenty of room to host a BBQ or play a game of cornhole!

Great place
Enjoyed our weekend. The porch was a big plus where we hung out all weekend. Only shortfall was that the beds hurt our backs. Possibly too soft. However, I will plan to stay there many times in the future!

We had such a wonderful time. This home had everything we needed. The porch was perfect for my two Granddaughters ages 1 and 3 to play. Love the way the home was decorated. the area was awesome for taking strolls and seeing all the Halloween decorations. will definitely be back.

Great location, but in need of upgrades and deep clean
This home is in a great location in Isle of Palms. We love the residential feel of this area and the proximity to the ocean. We were disappointed in the overall cleanliness and condition of the home. Despite cute photos, the home felt in need of a deep clean, general maintenance, and upgrades of the furnishings and household items. We had a nice time, but would not stay here again.

We enjoyed our week stay at this house. The beds were comfortable and a short walk to the beach. We loved the front porch and were out there majority of our stay. My only issue was the condition of the front porch. It needed a good power wash or some sort of mopping. Will keep this house on our list for future rental opportunities.

Fantastic beach house!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had 8 in our party (4 adults, 4 children) and the house was exactly what we needed/expected for our beach week. Easy, quick access to the beach, wonderful front porch, outdoor shower, and fully stocked kitchen. Would definitely return!

Great Porch

We enjoyed our stay at this home on the Isle of Palms. It is a convenient walk to the beach. We loved spending time on the front porch. The air conditioning unit needed repairs during our stay and Sweetgrass Properties went above and beyond to make us comfortable until the issue was resolved.

Great home
My husband and I stayed here with my son and his family (4 adults and 2 children). My other son, who lives in Mount Pleasant, frequently visited with his family, adding another 2 adults and 2 children. Since we were eating in due to COVID, we had all 10 of us there every night for dinner. While it was a squeeze around the dining table, it was fun to be able to have all of us together and the extra seats at the kitchen island came in handy. It was nice to essentially have 2 master bedrooms. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms was great! We all agreed, however, that the best feature of the house was the screened-in porch. If you asked the grandchildren, their favorite thing was the hammock on the porch. If we could make some recommendations, they would be: 1) Remove the metal “door mats” at the front and back doors. If you are barefoot and step on them, they burn the bottom of your feet. Ouch! 2) The outdoor shower needs additional slats to make it “private.” Having grown up at the Jersey shore, no one entered the house without first taking a shower outside. It kept the sand out of the house. But without more privacy, people weren't willing to take advantage of the outside shower. Maybe it's only there to rinse off? 3). There are some wicker furniture pieces of furniture on the porch that probably should be replaced. One side of a table has the wicker peeling off one side and some of the chairs have broken strands. It's great having so much seating in the porch but it would be nicer if all the chairs were equally usable. Overall, this house was an excellent choice for us. It was conveniently located near the beach and the beach was relatively quiet. It was very easy to maintain “social distancing.” If we were to come back to Isle of Palms, we would definitely rent this house again.

Great location
The main advantage of this property is the walkability to the beach. There was a sufficient number of bedrooms and bathrooms and the extremely large front porch was great. The furniture, however, was quite uncomfortable and we were pretty achy after a week’s stay. Certain amenities, like beach chairs and towels, should really be made available for those traveling from a distance. The proximity to the beach was really the primary factor for us staying in this house.

Great beach house for the money! It’s exactly what you want: 3 min walk to beach, outdoor shower, huge porch w hammock. House is a tad older with some clutter but exactly what we expected for the size/money. Everything was clean; linens were comfy. The only drawback was the grill could have been bigger. My family and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful Beach Retreat in Isle of Palms
What a gem! This location was PERFECT for our girls-only trip. The large screened in porch is a lovely location for early morning zen time or after-hours hangouts. The property was very clean, and easily accommodated our group of eight. The A/C system proved to be the perfect reprieve from the sticky, humid late August air. Don’t miss the wonderful outdoor shower, which you can access from the back porch, it’s under the stairs. Check-in was easy and the beach is less than a five-minute walk away. The stroll from the beach entrance to the sea is beautiful and the beach itself is simply breathtaking. The house is a ten-minute drive to the grocery store and bars/restaurants but it’s about a thirty-minute walk, so you'll want to rent a car, if possible. If you’re traveling with a group and plan to stay for a few days, pick-up some extra toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags, we ran out quickly and couldn’t find any extra supplies on site.
