Location, Views, and Ease

Pleased with the gated parking, ease of checkin, easy access to beach with only 3 steps to navigate with a loaded beach cart. Gorgeous beach views from the narrow but ample balcony. Quiet rooms with no disturbances from neighbors. Nicely maintained building but the condo has a definite “rental unit” vibe with quick paint patches and a few temperamental bathroom outlets. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

All in all a decent place. Very out dated. It would have been nice to have windows in the bedrooms. The primary bedroom and bath are not connected. Beds are uncomfortable. Needs air freshners.

TV Confusion

Half of our stay we were without any television service. 3 phone calls and a visit from 2 emplyees of the Acquarius and finally one employee after third call from SP Rentals. one of us is 84 years old and spent nearly his entire time in the condo.

Never rent from SPI Rental Agency !!

Condo listed as Luxurious A very expensive condo,Almost 6000.00 a month, Floors were dirty, Rust on all vents, Water problems, Mold, Had no HOT water for NINE days!! This shouldNOT be listed on VRBO !!!! Deplorable!! Waste of money!!!!!

Beautiful view

It was an unobstructed view of the ocean and the pool was in the shade all afternoon. Perfect for morning at the beach and dip in the pool at the end of the day.

Great with a few flaws

Working with the padre island staff was excellent! So helpful, informative, and well written communication. Wi-Fi was too slow and timed out, construction to the building during the day, and some work was needed on the unit. However, we had a brilliant time and loved the location. Suited my family perfectly! Nice people, and amazing restaurants.

Exceptional veiw

The condo was smaller then we expexted, but it worked for us. The furniture was not comfortable. The king bed was good. The queen bed was uncomfortable and squeeky. The kitchen sink did not produce even warm water. We were given dishwaser tablets, but there was no dishwasher.

Perfect location!

For the price and location it was great. The condo could use some upgrades, bathrooms need work; shower/tub combo water fixtures broken, all hot water. No storage counter space in bathrooms. Sliding doors do not work well...felt trapped a couple times in the bathroom next to kitchen. Loved sitting on balcony at night that was perect. Overall it was a good place to unwind and enjoy the beach.

Great View with Some Caveats

This property has a great ocean view and a nice balcony area. First impressions was that it was too small for a 2 bed 2 bath. It would be amazing as a 1 bed, 1 bath. Shower stall was tiny and had a rain fall shower head that would soak both sides of the shower door when stepping in. Bathtub faucets were loose… I thought they didn’t work at first. Since the bathrooms are small, there really isn’t any countertop space. We had to keep all of our toiletries in our bedrooms. Other than some cosmetic/mechanical things the location is really nice. Pool was great and it’s a short walk to the beach.

Nice little 2BR apartment with great view.

Stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. The apartment is a bit dated, but well-kept and maintained. While it was on the smaller side, it was just fine for 2 adults and 2 kids (3 and 7). There is no pantry space, so all non-perishables had to stay on the kitchen's counter. There were several boardgames and puzzles, which were a nice extra for the kids. The view from the [small] balcony is great, the pool has a very decent size and green areas are well maintained. Didn't use other amenities like the gym, the hot tub, laundry or playroom (with a table tenis table), so can't opine as to those.

Overall not a good value

The location is prime but you have to check in at a central office which is a bit annoying. Adam in the office was awesome though. It was after housekeeping hours and we found hairs in the sheets. Adam ran over some new sheets which we appreciated. The TV in the living room is barely functional which is annoying. There are lots of chips in the tile around the unit and the pocket doors don’t really close. The second shower is so small that grown adults can’t get in easily. The main shower/tub is terrible - the handles are broken and it’s too hard to regulate the temperature. I think this condo is great if you’re on a college beach trip but not suitable for people in their 30s. The nightly rate is outrageous for the quality of the accommodations.

Great View!

The condo was great and the view was spectacular. Loved the two bedrooms / two baths. Everyone that worked in the condo building were very nice and super polite. The only issue we had during our stay was the construction on the exterior of the building. We booked this vacation spot as we wanted to relax and unwind, but the grinding was very loud. While we understand maintenance needs to happen in order to keep up the appearance of the building, we would have appreciated a heads up. We know they've been working on the building for over a month - so plenty of time before our arrival to give us an alert. We called the management office and were told someone would get back to us and no one ever did. One of the staff at the condo actually called for us as well, and still no reply. Very disappointing, and not great customer service on their part!

Good for short stay

The location of this property was great. It is beachfront and had a great view. Check in was easy and the property management staff was nice as well as the front desk at the property itself. The property also felt secure and safe with bracelets and gate codes required for entry from both the street to the parking lot as well as to and from the beach. Cops also patrolled the beach regularly. The grounds were clean. The beach itself was clean, no garbage. The unit was as clean as I’d expect with clean linens and whatnot. However there are some cons. This space was fine for a family of 4 (with a teen and one pre teen) for just a few nights. But I would not be comfortable in this small space for any longer than that. It worked just fine for us since we had great weather and spent most of our time outside. We just had to stay organized with where we put our belongings and beach stuff. The main issues were the bathrooms. The master bath shower had very lower water pressure, the fixtures are in need of replacement, and the shower head was very low. The second bath was extremely tight with a very poorly functioning sliding door that would get stuck. The master bedroom door also did not seem to be snake to slide shut at all during our stay. Counter space is limited. All in all not a bad stay. Tight but for what we needed it served its purpose for a quick getaway.

Dirty property - a lot of repairs needed

TV in masterbedroom did not work so we had to stay in smaller bedroom. Towel rack broken in tub bathroom. Brown water in the tub in tub bathroom. Chose not to use. No bath towels in tub bathroom. Noise like a hammer drill all afternoon on Wednesday. Floors so dirty that my socks were dark brown after a couple hours of walking in condo. No place in either bathroom to put any cosmetics. No place in shower to put shampoo and conditioner. Drawer where pans were under the stove was absolutely filthy. Silverware dirty in counter container. Went and bought plastic silverware. Stayed in South Padre many times over the last 15 years. This was a horrible stay. The checkin person was so rude we did not address this with him. Also the front desk at the aquarius was not helpful. I will never stay at aquarius again!

Muy muy Lindo, Moderno y Limpio lugar !

Me gusto muchísimo el apartamentito, tiene 2 cuartos y 2 baños completos. Tiene mínimo decoracion, que te hace respirar libre de tantas cosas y adornos. Y así tienes lugar donde poner tus cosas. Bonitos armarios y burós junto a cama, con mucho lugar para la ropa. Muy simple y modernos muebles, tamaños perfectos para pequeño lugar. No como otros apartamentos ponen muy brumosos muebles y muy viejos. Apartamento tiene mucha luz y lamparitas por todos lados. Hermosísima vista de las ventanas del balcón a cualquier hora, en la mañana el amanecer fantástico y el océano todo el día con sus olas. Afuera jardín bello y arreglado, alberca siempre limpia. muy fácil salir y entrar a la propiedad. La única problema fue el colchón hundido y la cama rechinaba en un cuarto. Yo creo que falta comprar nuevo colchón, me dolió la espalda. Nos gusto mucho todo, obviamente regresaríamos allí para otro año. Gracias !!!
