Outskirts of Missoula

House was very clean; however the house needs to be updated. The big bed upstairs and smaller bed downstairs both need to be replaced. Could feel the coils in mattress. The house served its purpose.

Rattlesnake hidaway

Spacious house in the hills. If it had not been snowing hard it would have been better. The garage was not attached so you had to be out in the weather. The screen door on the front door stuck and had to be rattled and jiggled everytime you came in. We had more beds than we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The bedside lamps were insufficient to read in bed, small matter. The rooms were all large and we never felt crowded. We didn't cook, we ordered out but the kitchen was well stocked. We found the recycling boxes all along the garage in the way. If it hadn't been snowing so hard we would not have used the garage but it was nice to have that option. It would have been perfect if it were attached to the house, but it is very close so while we got damp we did not get wet. Would we stay here again? Yes, absolutely.

Rattlesnake Retrear

While i was in the hospital having a major surgery, my family stayed here. Other than a little heating issue and the refrigerator door not opening all the way they enjoyed their stay. Owners and housekeepers were really easy to work with. Will definitely stay again.

Spacious and comfortable

This house was just what we needed for our visit to Missoula. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a nice backyard for our dog. Spacious living room with comfy couches and well-stocked kitchen. Will be staying here again!

Spacious

The house had plenty of room and was very quiet. The amenities were good. The sheets should be cotton and extra blankets would have been nice. But great location and will stay there again.

Missoula Trip

The property was “as advertised” plenty of room and great out areas. Deck and backyard. The location was close to the city and services but in a nice neighborhood, 2-3 miles from the city center. When we comeback to visit family, this will be our first choice.

Great place

We had a great weekend at Bradley’s house. We were able to really relax and enjoy ourselves in between games as we were in Missoula for a baseball tournament. The owner was very easy to reach if we had any questions. The house is very eclectic and has that very unique Missoula feel. Great backyard and deck too.

Relaxing Sanctuary

If you enjoy staying in places that feel like a home, this is the place to be. We utilized all four bedrooms. We encourage anyone that loves a cool space to sleep to call the bedroom with the bigger bed. It was cozy and cool all night. There were plenty of pillows and blankets in each room. There was also any amenity you need including towels, soap, kitchen ware, games, fans, etc. We did not utilize the theatre room because we had so much fun conversing upstairs and playing board games. We highly encourage you to play Ticket to Ride. The welcome binder for the house is full of useful information and Bradley was always responsive (and I asked a lot of questions) and helpful. We did enjoy the hike to Mount Jumbo Saddle Trail recommended in the binder. A couple things to consider before you book: - Don’t miss the description of this being a sustainable sanctuary like we did. If you are not used to sorting recyclable materials, composting, or burning trash this may be big adjustment for you. We are used to most of this practice but did struggle with the concept of no trash pickup. - If you prefer pristine, all-matching everything (like a hotel) then this is not the place for you. We loved being at this home because it feels lived in and welcoming. We hope to find more places like this one during our travels. We can’t say enough how comfortable it was staying at this home. Perfect for families to connect and relax.

Appreciative

It was so very good to be able to have the sense of home during our time together with family gathering from 1000s of miles to share meals & memories & to make new ones. The needle on the (unexpected) turntable was broken and the owner offered to come & replace it. Thank you for everything!
