Treat your family, friends, and beloved dogs to an unforgettable oceanfront getaway in sunny Florida!

Conveniently located near plenty of Sarasota's shopping and dining, your new home away from home is nice and isolated, surrounded by gorgeous views and just a quick walk from the waters of Sarasota Bay.

High-quality furnishings and a mix of the retro and mid-century modern create a nice, pleasant atmosphere. Three couches await in the living room, with two near the fireplace and one boasting ocean views. Between internet browsing on the WiFi (there's even a study for telecommuters - just don't work too hard) and cable on the flatscreen TV, you've got all you need to stay entertained.

The kitchen has been recently remodeled, with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. It's easier than ever to cook up some appetizers to try at the breakfast bar for two, or a full meal to savor at the table for six.

Leave the dishwasher to work on cleaning up as you watch the sunset, before heading to one of the three bedrooms for bed. Between a queen-size bed in the master bedroom, two twin-size beds in the second room, and a sofabed in the third bedroom, everyone will have a lovely place to sleep. There's also a laundry room for your convenience.

Wake up and take the dog for a quick walk (dogs up to 50 pounds are welcome) before exploring the area. Between artistic attractions at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall and the John and Marble Ringling Art Museum, and naturalistic attractions at the Sarasota Jungle Gardens and Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, you're all set! Don't forget hiking - the Coastal Nature Trail is only a short walk away. And golfers will love the easy access to amazing golf courses. A few from the many in the area are The Palms (six miles), University Park (eight miles), and IMG (nine miles).

The Sunshine State is waiting for you. Book today!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Exceptional views

Beautiful place to vacate and enjoy all that the area has to offer. Great restaurants and wonderful beaches nearby. Beautiful views of the bay, dolphins and pelicans can be seen fishing. Amazing sunsets over the bay.

Couldn’t be closer to the Bay!

Just about 30 steps and we were at the break wall of the bay! What a wonderful view all day and all night! The home is bright white and clean with hardwood floors that don’t squeak! The beds are wonderful with new mattresses, Can you appliances are all new. This is a mid-century home with original bathrooms, But the tub, shower stalls, and bathroom sinks show very little wear. We enjoyed our weeklong stay, and would certainly stay at this residence again.

Sarasota retreat

The property location was perfect for us. We were looking for a place in the water but close to the downtown. The outside seating was ok but a fire pit or lounge chairs would have been nice. There are no amenities at the house. Bikes also would be nice. The bathroom are older and well maintained but note there are no power outlets in them. Overall we would return!

Beautiful view

First day: no internet or connectivity to local provider so no TV. MASTER BATH, Tub backed up. Plumber came 3 days later. Couldn’t use all week. Drain has to be replaced. Had grill not fully operational. Used once. Kitchen door lock fell out, put back in never used door again. Secondary toilet off kitchen running. Storm did tree damage to gutter and limbs were down. Outside furniture is wicker, most chairs were not usable. Homes interior was clean and nice. Kitchen has everything you need. Park next door is very active and noisy. Beautiful view. Make sure you bring your own chairs and coolers. Comped 161 dollars for above. I’m not sure that’s enough compensation. I’ve shared all the above with VACASA

Pretty good

Constructive criticism...put a king bed in the master, move the queen to the back bedroom as there is really no need for a couch and desk in there. The grounds could have been better maintained..think about putting an electric blower in the garage for guests to use in between yard service. I swept the patio a number of times. Also, consider a gas grill. Kitchen pots and pans need upgrading and the knives are all super dull. Now the good stuff, setting was beautiful and proximity to downtown and stadium and beaches was perfect.

Great home, great location, a little outdated

The house is in a great location and there is plenty of room to relax. The amenities in the kitchen are lacking (not many plates, bowls, forks, knives, glasses, etc) so we had to wash things frequently rather than toss them into the dishwasher. The coffee maker was broken and we found this out after filling the back of it up with water for it to fall all over the floor. Also, the third bathroom near the office, the u-valve underneath the sink is completely rusted through and water fell directly onto the ground. We didn't use that sink for the rest of the trip. All in all, it was a great stay in a beautiful location.

Extended holiday stay

The property is lovely; the view is gorgeous. It’s an old home. It could definitely use more amenities to make it more comfortable for guests staying more than a weekend. We were there 8 days which necessitated I borrow quite a few thinks from family who lived nearby. I wrote a comprehensive list for the property manager.

Beautiful house but horrible management

The house itself was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. There was a major plumbing issue in the master bedroom that inconvenienced our group. I placed a call on 7/24 and was told local office would be reaching out to me. I called and text numerous times after and nothing. It is unfortunate that this house is managed so poorly because it truly impacts wanting to ever come back.

Great view!

The house was clean and spacious with great views. The location was close to many beaches and activities; such as parasailing, kayaking and renting jet skis. I also enjoyed walking in the neighborhood down Bay Shore road. Very close to the Ringling Museum, which we enjoyed seeing. I did mention to the property management team some items to better stock the kitchen and beach items that guests could use would be really nice. Hopefully they will add these. One other note, it says it sleeps 6 but I don’t think anyone would want to sleep on that pull out couch! Luckily, we only had 4 in our group. A new bed in that room would be a very good investment.

Beautiful view

Beautiful view of the bay. Too bad it’s right next to public access, even though you can’t see them, you can hear them. When we initially walked in, the big spray smell was terrible, had to open windows immediately. We figured out why the bug spray, we saw 3 large cockroaches and ended up bringing one home in a suitcase! Furnishings of the home are mediocre, kitchen doable. We had an air conditioning problem, which was addressed immediately. Overall, we feel it is overpriced.

Review

Beautiful home on inside. The decorations are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. Outside area is very nice as well with some area's needing improvements. The lawn is mostly some sort of thorns that stick to pets and/or clothing. The bay appears as if one can swim in it, and often this is quite difficult to do because of concrete wall and tide. The park, next to home, is actually only about 300 yards in length.

Beautiful comfortable spot on the water

Great location in proximity to downtown Sarasota and lots of keys/beaches. Water in backyard is gorgeous and perfect for fishing. Within walking distance to lots of coffee shops and other restaurants. Cozy neighborhood feel surrounded my magazine worthy homes. House itself is the perfect size for a family of five with lots of open common space. I highly recommend!

Great Views in a Great Home

Fantastic stay in this roomy home. Lots of big windows to see the Bay. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed: toaster, blender, good knives, stainless steel pots/pans. Really nice to be able to park in the garage! There was a table and chairs to enjoy dining outside and several beach lounge chairs. There is even an outdoor portable fire pit. Overall, we would definitely stay there again.

A sanctuary in a lovely location

This house had just what we needed to escape the madness of Covid. The architecture was amazing - mid-century space, clean lines, an updated, kitchen, and a patio that looked out on the bay, with abundant wildlife and boffo sunsets. There was ample privacy, but the nearby beach, the funky artsy neighborhood, and proximity to downtown and the Ringling Bridge to the keys gave us opportunities to explore.
