Brooklyn Brownstone Full Floor Apartment - gratis wifi och kaffe. Prospect Park.

Bottenvåning lägenhet i vår Brooklyn brownstone / radhus.

Huset byggdes 1898 och har massor av vackra originaldetaljer. Gratis WiFi ingår samt kaffe / te med Keurig Platinum Brewing-system. Köket är fullt utrustat med massor av koppar, glas, grytor och kokkärl, etc. Vi har nyligen renoverat köket med nya coola zink bänkskivor.

Gästerna kan också använda vårt vackra dekorerade trädgårdsområde med en bambuvägg, soffor och ett utomhus spisbord. Vi bor i huset på övervåningen och överlämnar i allmänhet gästerna till sig själva, men trädgården delas med oss, och vi kan umgås i eldstaden med vänner vid tillfällen.

Lägenheten har ett stort sovrum med en Queen size-säng och en dubbelsäng med dubbelsäng som också har en rullande säng under. Båda är vackra restaureringsmöbler. Det lilla sovrummet är egentligen bara för att sova och har en dubbelsäng och en annan utdragbar dubbelsäng bädd under. Se bilder.

För gäster som bor under de varma sommarmånaderna (juli / augusti) har vi en fristående luftkonditionering i sovrummet, men det finns ingen AC i det lilla sovrummet eller i köket. Det är i allmänhet bara bra med de fans vi har, men om du är väldigt känslig för värme och behöver kylan i rummet är det kanske inte det bästa stället på sommaren. Stäng alltid av AC när du lämnar lägenheten för att hjälpa oss att bevara vårt.

Några kvarter till Prospect Park med vackra promenader, bra för jogging eller cykling. Audubon Center ligger precis vid sjön med båtturer. På Prospect Park tenniscenter finns det alltid domstolar tillgängliga per timme. Prospektparken är också värd för den berömda Drummers Circle och Brooklyn stora bondemarknad på helgerna på Grand Army Plaza.

Köket har en 4-ugns gasspis, mikrovågsugn, brödrost, kaffebryggare, vattenkokare och alla nödvändiga redskap. Den smarta TV: n har massor av kabelkanaler såväl som netflix, amazon prime, etc.

Ingen rökning någonstans inne i eller i trädgården, inga fester och inga andra gäster än gästerna på bokningen.

Charming Property

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed for 4 nights while my daughter ran the NYC Marathon. It is located close to my son's apartment and overall, very accessible to the subway system and fast ride into Manhattan. Located on a quiet neighborhood street but close to restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities. This property had everything we needed, including full kitchen and 2 showers in the bathroom. Nicely decorated (shabby chic style), comfortable beds. Weren't able to use outdoor space because of weather, but it looked very nice. The property owners were extremely responsive. Would stay there again.

Delightful apt- Stunning original artwork- Beautiful tree-lined street- Owner/Hosts EXTRADINAIR!

My sister & I chose this VRBO because it was close to my neice's apartment, it was in one of those 'famous' Brooklyn Brownstone homes, and it looked to be full of character & charm, architectural detail, and cool artwork. It was all of the above. But we were most impressed with Sylvia & Andre who were SO gracious & attentive. Not to mention, it's his photography and her oils that grace the walls....its like living in your own private art gallery! There are a couple of neighborhood food markets close by, and a super-friendly neighborhood corner pub, "Midwood Flats", which we loved. We definitely recommend this little ground floor gem! ....and on a chilly night, you must relax by the fire pit in the back garden. We certainly did.

It was okay for the price

When we arrived the apartment was extra warm and smelled stale as if it had been closed up for sometime. After I personally mopped the floors, wipe the cabinets and dusted the apartment smelled really fresh. The location was great we walked to MangoSeed and had a great lunch and drinks.

Lovely Brooklyn Brownstone

Beautiful and charming and spacious and serene. Short walk to train and several grocery stores and reasonable restaurants; easy run to the Y. Beautifully appointed and appropriately updated. Loved! the garden.

Loved it! Great location in Brooklyn

We loved this Brooklyn Brownstone. And just as the owner described, it felt like we were on Sesame Street! It is clean and had EVERYTHING you need. We were in town for 4 nights and had to attend a graduation. We loved the location just 3-4 blocks from subway entrance. A coffee and bagel shop were close by too. We would definitely rent here again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Fantastic Brooklyn spot

The house was clean and well decorated with lots of character. Very easy walk to the subway. Quiet streets and well lit so I felt safe walking alone. Prospect Park was a quick walk and amazing for my morning runs. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Garden Apt with full kitchen 2 blocks from Prospect Park and the Q line to NYC

The space is charming and spacious with 3 beds to choose from (daybed, queen and single), a full kitchen with breakfast table overlooking the back garden area. Just steps to Prospect Park and the fast Q-B lines, it couldn't be more conveniently located if you prefer to be outside the hustle and bustle of the city. As a pet-friendly garden apartment on a beautiful historically landmarked block in Prospect Lefferts Garden, a friendly neighborhood, it was a pleasure walking around in a place where people still say, "Good morning and Good Evening to oone another.'" WIth an abundance of heaters, blankets or fans, depending on your preferred temperature, iPhone chargers and fast wifi and Andre's ready response, you're well taken care of. I used this space as a base camp while I looked for apartments in the area. Sylvia and Andre were great hosts and are my favorite new neighbors. Rent with confidence.

Perfect for our needs.

We had a lovely stay in this basement apartment. Sylvia and Andre were friendly and very accommodating of our family. The apartment is nicely appointed with attractive furniture and large paintings and photographs done by the owners. The kitchen could use some work, but there's lots of room to sit around the table and enjoy a cup of (provided) coffee and a meal. The back patio is very inviting, but it snowed so we didn't get a chance to use it. It's a great location - a quick walk to Prospect Park and to restaurants that we enjoyed.

Absolutely charming!

Sylvia and Andre own a lovely brownstone in a wonderfully diverse Brooklyn neighborhood that features easy transportation into the city and a variety of stores and restaurants. They have preserved the historic character of the apartment while equipping it with the all the appliances, WiFi and TV any traveler could wish for. The outdoor seating area would be most inviting in the warm weather. Additionally, Sylvia was very responsive and helpful when we had a problem with a lost item. We loved our stay there.

Great space! Clean, comfortable and kind hosts

This place was fantastic. The hosts go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Andre was very kind and accommodating. We liked that it had 2 showers in the bathroom which made it easier for our group of 6 to get ready for the day. The back patio is beautiful and we found the apartment to be really charming. We hope to be back again next time we visit Brooklyn

Fun spot for nyc visitors

A lovely spot perfect for out three person family. Thoughtfully appointed for travelers. We were there in very cold weather and this didn’t take advantage of the pretty backyard patio, which I’m sure would be wonderful in warm weather. Close to subway, good neighborhood restaurants nearby.

Cozy spot, perfect launching pad for weekend fun!

Idyllic location for our girls' weekend. Quiet, cozy and quirky spot, perfect for 6 old friends to laugh and make new memories. Good bed setup for us and love the 2 showers in the bathroom - efficiency at its best! Wonderful hosts ensured we had all we needed, including last-minute refill of the propane tank so we could enjoy the backyard fire pit on a chilly night.

Perfect weekend rental

My wife and I stayed at the Brownstone during a recent visit with our daughter who lives in Brooklyn. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and quiet, and we were able to get on street parking right in front of the apartment. The apartment was perfect and is very quaint. Sylvia and Andre are great hosts and were very accommodating. We will definitely stay there again.

Cozy welcoming retreat on tree lined street.

First let me say I was very naieve about Brooklyn. The apartment itself had everything you could possibly need and the backyard with all of the outdoor seating under the pergola was heavenly. We had our coffee out there and sat out there at night enjoying the peace and quiet. The apartment is well built, older but charming and is private and quiet. Some of the beds were a wee bit firm but we all slept well after our long days in the city. It was a short walk to the subway and most of that area appeared fairly safe during the hours we were out. I will say though that we knew nothing about the surrounding neighborhoods and decided to walk to a pizza place our first night. The neighborhood that we walked to was not only unfriendly, it was menacing and threatening to 4 Caucasian women. We were stared at and yelled at. When we finally arrived to the pizza place, Tony’s which was awesome, they gladly called us a cab to get Home. As much as I enjoyed my stay I’m not sure I would do it again because of that. Also they had a parade the day we were leaving and the police presence was amazing! First sign of police in that area our entire stay and they were on every corner. A bit alarming. We were told we would be fine as long as we weren’t wandering the neighborhood.

We live in a lovely landmark protected neighborhood. All the houses were built in the late 1800s and very well taken care of. It's a little like Sesame street, with stoops where people hang out and chat with one another.
