Most relaxing vacation

Everything about this property made our vacation better. One of the days we were there it rained all day, the house and location kept the whole family comfortable and happy. We made brownies and watched the thunderstorm roll through. We were able to walk to the beach that night after the storm passed and find shells. This was hands down the best location, best house, and most enjoyable vacation we have had.

Couldn't be a better location!!!

We stayed in this property for one month.The location was amazing. Quick access to beaches, restaurants and the town without toll bridges like in Pensacola Beach made this an amazing stay. The home itself is very quaint with great spaces for family and relaxation.

Long weekend Getaway

The house was adorable. Booking was a breeze. Location was great very convenient to everything. 5 minute walk to the beach. The neighborhood was very quiet and our weekend was perfect!

Perfect little place

This little home is really all you need. It’s in a great location. Within a stone toss is the Sound, and a short walk the other direction is the beautiful Gulf. It has all the kitchen essentials for cooking at home. Both bathrooms are located upstairs, which was fine for us but maybe not for elderly, etc. The only complaint is the discomfort of the queen bed mattress. That should be replaced. Other than that it was overall just perfect and we were happy with our stay.

It was cold

All good except the thermostat is upstairs so the temp not well regulated. We stayed over Christmas- so very cold. If my son didn’t have portable heater for first floor- we couldn’t have stayed!

Pet friendly and great location.

Enjoyed being able to walk to the pier, island restaurants, beach, and sound. Perfect deck for watching the fire works on July 4th. Had a great time and hope to visit again.

Horrible master bed

The bed frame was broken directly in the middle and the mattress was thin. Was very uncomfortable and hurt both of our backs. I noticed it noted in prior reviews but assumed it was corrected. No other complaints.

A wonderful getaway

Overall, this property was all we had hoped for. Great location. Well equipped with all the comforts. Great kitchen. Great laundry facilities. Stairs and bed were a little quirky. Great air-conditioning. Good WiFi. Within walking distance of all the restaurants and beaches. We would stay here again, but would also like to investigate other properties that are offered through your company. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

Home needs MANY improvements

The location was good. The home was not very clean and many things were broken....The back balcony railings were broken through and missing rungs. The blinds in the living room and dining room were falling off the window and many slats were broken. Rug in living room was stained and dirty. The carpet was unraveling and very dirty/stained on the second floor. Bunk bed was wobbly. The front balcony had broken rails and the lighting was broken or missing on the stairs. This was a HUGE safety issue since the stairs are in complete darkness at night. I was scared every time my 88 year old father or myself went down the stairs. There are many things that need to be repaired with this property, too many to keep listing. Even for the reasonable price, we shouldn't have had to experience broken and unsafe things. Please fix. This house is too cute of a home to let it remain in this shape.

Needs some maintenance

The overall stay was just ok. We love that it was a short walk to the beach. Maybe we should not have expected much for the price but we were disappointed. The house needs maintenance. The beds were both very uncomfortable and falling apart. The bunk bead was loose and did not seem safe. The same for the master bedroom, the bed was not put together well. Small things here and there were falling apart, the wood blinds, the curtain rods, the railing on the front patio (exposed nails, major safety issue.) to many small things to list. The sitting area did not have adequate seating and the couch was uncomfortable. The air conditioning froze and we had to defrost it for a few hours for it to work again. I would not stay in this home again. Please update and repair your home.

We arrived after Hurricane Sally and were pleasantly surprised.

This is a great location. We didn’t know what to expect but we had no damage and the rental was very nice and clean. We had a problem with internet due to storm damage outside the house and it was handled promptly. The only thing I would say, as I see others have said, the couch needs to be replaced. We had a great stay and would recommend and book again. Southern Rentals was great to work with.

Awesome Stay

Location was great. The team was helpful with our needs. The only bad things was the couch was partially broken, a couple of the blinds were broken, and the fire alarm is blinking. Outside of that, everything was perfect. Your VRBO team was great.

Great location

Really loved the location of this property. The beach access at the end of the cul-de-sac felt very secluded. We would definitely come back. We had a few minor issues with the wi-fi not working half the time and the front door getting stuck and key pad not locking/unlocking correctly but overall a great place.
