Carmen is a 22 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She was an award-winning host within just 5 months of opening! To see why, check out the VIDEO of the suite, yard, patio, carport and views! And, you may want to check the reviews before reading further, they will convince you this is the perfect place for you.

Carmen is a resident of Alburqurque and is on site, unlike out-of-state hosts/investors.
Her home is in the fly zone -many days hot air balloons fly over or near by. You literally have a birds eye view of them and, the birds!

The large bedroom has a wall of views - hot air balloons, the Sandia mountains, the Rio Grande valley and the city - twinkling Hollywood views from your bed or patio!

The bed is super comfortable! After the views, it's the #1 thing guests comment on.

Getting around is super easy and fast. All the attractions are within 5 miles. US40 and Rt 66 are 1 mile away and US 25 is 3 miles. The airport and Amtrak are 6 miles away.

We have two fenced yards for your pets to explore - $20 non-refundable pet fee.

Xfinity WiFi

You can self-check-in and will have your own gated car port with room for RV parking.

You'll also have a washer/dryer, kitchenette, large master bedroom with walk-in closet, bathroom with walk-in shower

Lovely, if you don’t plan to do a lot of cooking. The dual counters in the bathroom were handy!Quiet neighborhood, great view on the patio right outside the door, lovely homemade artwork decorating the walls, for sale and affordable ! We encourage you to watch the video to get a sense of this homey guest room-plus.

Have stayed here before. Views are amazing. Property is clean and cozy. It was actually warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the sunset this time. Easy to recommend.

Safe and Close to I-40

Easy to get to from I-40. We had a quick overnight and great sleep knowing car was safe behind gate. In morning found a great local coffee shop, Cutbow Roasters, and local co-op for breakfast. Would stay here again, hopefully with more time to enjoy the views from back of property.

What a view.

Great place to stay. Love that a gate was available so I didn’t have to worry about anyone getting to my vehicle. Close to everything. Was able to meet up with family and friends. Will try to rent again when visiting family.

Property was just as described in the listing & had everything we needed for our 3 days in Albuquerque. Carmen was great, really responsive to messages & happy to let us check in early which was greatly appreciated. The views from the patio out the back were awesome too! Beautiful yard.

Carmen is a wonderful host with an exceptional view of Albuquerque. Her dog friendly property has a fenced in back yard and is well landscaped. This is a solid choice for folks who will be eating out, but has a microwave, toaster oven, air dryer and fridge for your convenience.

Great view of the city

We really loved the views from the patio, it was a great spot to sit and enjoy the scenery. Our arrival was greeted by a roadrunner that was lounging in the back yard. The shower was really nice and we were very glad to have a washer and dryer. The location was convenient for us, close to everything we needed. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic view! Cute APT to boot.

I will be going back! The area is nice. A road runner approached me in the garden. There are restaurants very close. You're 5 minutes from I-40 to boot. That was a pleasant surprise.

Perfect stay in ABQ! Great host!

Spent just one night but it was the perfect stop after a few days camping in the Gila Wilderness. Communication with host was second to none and she even gave a refund when our plans changed and we no longer needed to stay a second night as originally intended. Did a sunrise hot air balloon ride, highly recommended! Thanks for the perfect stay!

Oasis in Albuquerque

The house was has easy access to the interstate. We enjoyed the outdoor space with an amazing view! The house was clean and had the bonus of fun artwork. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place to stay!

We were only here for a day, but we really enjoyed the stay. The apartment was quite nice and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed all the art on the wall, all of which was made by the host. We even bought one! The view from the backyard was beautiful. We met the host, who was very, very friendly. It was great having covered parking for the night. All in all, we really enjoyed our short stay.

Surprise of a Lifetime

We stayed here for six weeks. First of all, Albuquerque had the coldest winter. This did not dampen our stay. We took trips from Taos to White Sands and places in-between. New Mexico excelled in our expectations. Of course our accommodations weren’t huge, but, let me tell you, the VIEWS out the “one way” windows were excellent. Spectacular views of the Sandia and Manzano Mountains. Our hostess was most accommodating. Improvements in the guest room could include comfortable seating and newer sheets. The shower is just right. The laundry room/ kitchen is fine. The refrigerator fine. There is an air fryer and nice toaster oven and a Mr. Coffee. We were a little taken back reading the reviews on Albuquerque and crime. I have to say we felt perfectly safe in this middle class neighborhood. When we ventured out we made sure to lock our car and be aware of our surroundings. It is a look over your shoulder kind of a place but don’t let that stop you. Our trip was AMAZING!
