Nice stay

We had a great stay in this property and in the area. We were in town for a short stay and this place worked well for our family of 4 as a home away from home. Loved the proximity to grocery stores and many restaurants were a short drive away. It was a clean home and the neighborhood was safe and friendly.

Not as advertised

VRBO advertises that properties will have no one else on site. Imagine my surprise while unloading my food, to hear people in the basement! Long term tenants were living at my short term rental and this was not communicated. No fault to the tenants, they were simply living their lives, but they were noisy at times, interfering with our stay at all times of the day.During dinner, they came to the door to ask us to move our cars - again, not their fault, but the fault of the owner,This house DOES NOT sleep 6. There are 2 beds and 2 bedrooms. There is an office with a fold out couch - there is a metal pipe running down the middle of the couch - I'd love the owner to sleep here and tell me how they liked it. My adult daughter had to sleep with me in my king bed, so that my son had a decent bed to sleep in. The photos show 9 photos of bedrooms, with photos edited to make it look like there are 3 beds - different linens, different colours of furniture, but rest assured, if you need 3 bedrooms, you're not getting it here.To make things worse, no stove was provided- oh, there is a stove there, with 2 HOT PLATES on top. The buttons have been removed for the top, and when you plug it in, the message is "bad wire." We brought food to cook over Christmas and it was useless. Again, not communicated. This stay pretty much ruined our visit and I can say that it was falsely advertised by VRBO as well as the owner. We should have been told that there were other people on site! Just awful.
