Cozy 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house, bright full of sun.Close to many bus routes all over Victoria especially downtown to explore beautiful downtown Victoria. 4 min walk to tillicum mall, groceries, pharmacy and medical clinic. Nature trail and park down the street. Gorge waterway for a beautiful walk. KHave kids ?? Enjoy a few hours at mister tubs for ice cream, games and prizes. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Bedrooms fully equipped with sheets, front room has a desk for folks working away from home. Full kitchen available for all cooking needs. Washer and dryer in suite for those staying longer and travelling far from their home. Hair dryer and iron available. This is a place for maximum 5 people. NOTE: one bed is a double, other two are queens. please don’t show up with more people than you booked with originally, that will not be accepted. Please park on gravel in front of main house. house is in backyard of property. NO PARTIES OF ANY KIND

Playmakers

I booked for a week for a hockey tournament at Tillcum Mall. This is within 5 minute walk. Information for check-in was given well in advance so no last minute anxiety. I was just not aware the unit was at the back of the property. The owner answered any questions within 15 minutes. The TV did not work well during a thunder and lightning storm. Could use some night stand tables at each side of the bed. Place was well equipped with soaps, coffee, ice and spices. Definitely would stay again. Very quiet area.

Avoid!!

Avoid!!!!! Never ended up staying but was still charged for trip. House is tucked in the back yard with zero visibility and lights when arriving at night. Main house is full of work trucks, went back during the day time and yard is full of toys and junk. Chose to stay at a hotel rather than this property. The inside looks nice from the pictures, but getting there and dealing with the owners property, which is the main house, isn’t worth it.

Holiday

Nice property, good location to shops etc. Property, clean and tidy upon arrival. Needed bigger sofa as not big enough for 3 adults but apart from that really good.

No frills, reasonably priced

We enjoyed our stay at this place. We were gone most of the time hiking and enjoying Vancouver island. The place had comfortable beds and the kitchen was well stocked. A few suggestions would be to adjust the shower head so it hits the body better, add some ice cube trays and mirror somewhere.

Great little house!

We enjoyed our stay, the location is easy to get to, we had enough privacy and Amal was easy to talk to. She provided a tv box so we could watch the Olympics because we didn't know we had to bring our own.

Nice quick stay in Saanich

Had a quick 2 day stay to visit family in Victoria. Could not have asked for a more perfect house for my family. Did not use much of the services, but beds were fine, place was clean, access was easy, and host was very accomodating. Great location for Saanich - which is where I was going. Would stay again.

Victoria Excursion

The place was nice in the back behind the main house. It was clean and a good size for the 3 of us. The kitchen was outfitted nicely and the bedrooms were a good size. The neighbourhood was quiet and the house is very close to a shopping mall and restaurants, a rec centre, and a movie theatre. And close to public transit. The best part about the place was the location in Victoria. It was only 10 minute drive to downtown and within 30 minute drive of most of the main touristy sites in the area - we took advantage of that and went north, east, west, and south to see as many as we could. Thank you!

Good location; excellent communication.

Pros: Place was clean and communication was excellent and responsive. Also loved the location, and parking was good. Cons: A little small for 5 people though and supplies (e.g. glasses, toilet paper, paper towels) were enough for a party of two/maybe 3. Also the unit was quite hot, however the owner was very responsive and got us an extra fan which helped a lot at night. Overall would stay again with max 4 people.

Blue house with chicken coop right beside

The beds were very uncomfortable. Shower head falls off all the time (cut my shoulder). The kitchen had good decent amount of food preparation needs but weirdly no glasses or proper cups for coffee. It’s good value for the money in a place like Victoria, especially because there is a nice park nearby, but I wouldn’t stay there again because of what animal cohabitates with the chickens.

Awesome host, amazing property and location

The host was terrific. They gave you your space, provided a clean and updated house and even brought us fresh eggs and cherries. They responded quick with any questions. Will be staying here again! Thanks again host!

Great location and owner communication

Great private house behind the owner residence. Parking was easy and the property was as described. Great home base for 5 of us while visiting various awesome sites around Victoria. Nice kitchen and great price.

Blue house that cure the blues

We travel with 2 kids and this house with 2 rooms is exactly the one we need. There’s a cute chicken coop that provided us with eggs for morning breakfast. We get to meet the chickens and that’s the highlight for the kids. Inside, all amenities for the stay are provided. Shower pressure is really good and what we need after a day of traveling. Each room has a queen bed which is perfect for family of 4. We use to go bare feet in the house and we feel the place is very clean (mind you I have dust allergy) Location wise I think is quite central to where we want to go to the direction of Swartz Bay and explore around the Parliament House. For the amount of time you read this, you could’ve booked the place already because that’s what you should do before other nabbed it. Will we be back? 1000%

A great stay!

We had a good experience in the little blue house! Everything was clean and Amal was fantastic to deal with. Although we didn't indulge on the fresh eggs, they provided fresh eggs from their chicken for us, which was the cutest touch. The only thing that is not clear on the listing that had us confused is that the little blue house is located behind the main blue house. A great stay over all!

Great little house!

Host is very friendly and accommodating with letting our kids use their basketball hoop and trampoline! Fantastic all round experience and such a neat thing to have some fresh eggs in the morning. Only difference from listing is it say a spa/whirlpool and not sure what that would be? Otherwise, what a great little place and very clean!
