Italy farm rentals

Alessandro our host, was great, all questions immediately answered. Unfortunately his children were sick so he was unable to meet us. Transfer to Venice it is straight forward but I was worried about it. Alessandro gave plenty of options. The easiest was the water bus on the orange line. His staff met us but there was a mis understanding. She said Rialto bridge so we thought she'd meet us where the waterbus dropped us off. Got a text to ask where I was, sent her a photo and was told I was in the wrong side. We had no idea where we were so that set the tone wrong for me as had been travelling for nearly 12 hours at this point. I had a large suitcase. It took around 10 minutes walk. We later realised there was a more straight forward walk than all the adventures she took us on. Rialto bridge is large with lots of steps so not ideal re suitcase. B&B in Nice little courtyard and clean but steep stairs so not for the infirm. Good location to everything. GreatGAlcleaThereshigher

We had a great time enjoying the breakfast and dinners on the terrace, while admiring the view. We liked the feeling of the house, which felt cozy and welcoming. We thank Manola for everything, including for the welcome gift.

This apartment is beautiful. It's tastefully decorated and has everything you need. The bed is extremely comfortable and has luxurious bedding. The location could not be more perfect and there is a simply stunning view from the roof terrace. The owner Luca was amazing. He gave us an incredible amount of information and suggestions. I had a query and he responded immediately. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect for us. Didn’t trouble the cooker or dishwasher, local food is great, lively environment.

Stayed for five nights and we couldn't have picked a better location to view Venice. We were able to walk to all the key sights. Apartment was perfect for the two of us, comfortable and had everything we needed. Would book again.

This property is just fantastic, with a very helpful and generous owner/family. I could not recommend this property highly enough. Great location for the local train station with free parking 20 mins trip into Florence. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely go again. Grazie mille Gianna

Beautiful hillside location and welcoming, friendly host. The property was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean and comfortable. The gardens were gorgeous with always a place to relax in sun or shade. Loved the roof- top terrace with the view. Fabrizio, the host, was most helpful and has a good stock of wine and other essentials if needed. Highly recommended.

We're a family of 4. We have teenagers. We're British....but don't click away just yet. And we've travelled a bit over this planet. I've always said we'd never got back anywhere. Never. The world is too big. There's always a different corner. The familiar business of 'we must come back' written by a guest in cheap biro in a dusty dog eared visitors' book never rang true. I'll tell you what though; we'd love to come back to Il 2. Seriously. It is that good. Come here. See the sun set over these hills behind Orvieto and tell your grand kids. Taste the wine from the estate and boast about it at the pub. Kick back and relax by the pool and just let time run slowly. The house and the grounds allow stresses to drain away. Read this in November. It's dark at 5:00pm. It's cold. It's Sunday. You're watching Antiques Roadshow. Now think of a place where sun, sky and rolling hills merge.
