Hanalei villa rentals

Lynn and Damian’s place is the best location in Princeville! It is super close to Hideaways and Pipos beaches. We were two families with little ones hauling around a bunch of stuff so it was really nice to stay somewhere where we didn’t have to drive anywhere. Lynn and Damian had great attention to detail and stocked the house with all the necessities and a little more…including an instant pot which made cooking very easy. We would totally book this place again!

We had a wonderful week’s stay in this super well-equipped villa which has many more amenities than most vacation rentals we’ve visited in the islands over the years. It’s also situated in a fantastic, peaceful location which gives the feeling of being in the middle of the Kauai jungle, complete with wonderful bird song. In addition you have a beautiful view of the mountains and a lovely glimpse of Hanalei Bay in the distance. It’s also just across a small road from a popular gathering spot from which to see the perfect “Bali Hai” sunset view, and is walking distance to the gorgeous 1 Hotel, the (steep) trail down to Hideaways beach and Hideaways Pizza restaurant. The bathrooms are both newly remodeled, the kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed and the living/dining area were very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the decks to soak in that view and watch the rainbows and bird life. One caveat - you have to carry luggage down a steep flight of steps and up another one to enter the house, so just be aware!Our hosts Joe and Linda were communicative and helpful. We highly recommend this place for a real feel of the North Shore of Kauai.

We stayed here for a week for a fun family vacation. The location was amazing. We walked across the street almost every night to watch the sunset over the ocean. We loved eating out on the lanai and looking at the ocean and/or the mountains. We also enjoyed walking to hideaways beach for some snorkeling. Hanalei Bay is a short distance. We spent a lot of time there as it has become our favorite beach on Kauai. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything that we needed. If you need more than two beach chairs and two boogie boards, you'll need to rent them. Our stay was amazing and we would, for sure, stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay. The pictures of the view (particularly from the hammock) do not do it justice. I actually messaged them beforehand to confirm that you could see the ocean because the pic was kind of fuzzy and I thought they might be trying to make it look like you could see the ocean. The hammock with some coffee (or wine) with the beautiful tree and the ocean further back was just heaven. Our boys had a room upstairs and our daughter slept in a pack in play (provided by host) in a large closet in the main bedroom, which - if you are a parent of a Pack and play sized child - you know is the perfect setup. Lovely local coffee provided. Crooning sounds of roosters every morning (which - if you see listings of people complaining about roosters, just know that Kauai isnt the place for that critic. Kauai heaven on earth - with roosters everywhere. That isn’t a host issue ever. They’re omnipresent. You turn around in the shower and boom- rooster). Great air flow - no concerns about the lack of AC other than the first.night when we arrived and it was more stuffy just from being closed up.
