It was a pleasure to stay here, thanks Swami! The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits!

Very nice stay in this apartment ideally located 2 minutes walk from the BART and 10 minutes walk from Target. Had everything we needed for a good stay. Really useful to have a good sized fridge freezer, excellent washing machine and dryer. The apartment came well supplied and was comfortable for two adults and two teens. Correspondence with the owner was good.

The property is very well-equipped, the washer/dryer is a big bonus to cut down on holiday washing! The garden is a peaceful haven. Everything was very clean and comfortable, with well stocked crockery and cutlery.
Bob was a very gracious host. He lives in the apartment next door. Unobtrusive, but very helpful and happy to chat when needed some advice on where to go. Bob even had an hour to spare so drove us to the botanical gardens, giving is a guided tour along the way.
The house itself is beautiful, it is about a ten minute walk to the BART station, but you can get a bus from across the road if you don't want to walk. Don't miss out on the artisanal bakery and coffee house just round the corner. There is also a Whole Foods and Walgreen's within ten minutes walking distance.
It takes about 30 minutes, maybe less to get into San Francisco from the BART. Overall we loved staying here for a week, and were sad to leave. As a base for exploring, it is perfect.
