About this property

One bedroom A-frame cabin with a master bedroom downstairs and a large loft with two twin beds and plenty of room for extra kids or a blow up bed between. Ladder up to loft. Full kitchen and lots of windows overlooking the White River. Just above "The Narrows" where people love to wade and fly fish. Can also wade and fish just off the bank below the cabin, but bring your waders because the water is COLD. This is the part of the river frequented by fishing guides due to the excellent fishing. Very tranquil and comfortable cabin. A true place to relax and escape!

No gas for stove/oven or fireplace

Had to cook all our meals on outdoor grill. No offer of credit. Electricity seemed spotty. Good location. Upstairs beds were for children and no railing to keeps kids from falling off loft.

Peaceful stay

Very quiet area yet close to town. The view was amazing thanks to the well placed windows facing the river where there was always something interesting to watch. Lots of outdoor space as well where you could sit and watch the world go by. Owner that lived next door is very friendly yet not intrusive at all. Questions were answered promptly and we were even gifted fresh eggs from her chickens. We would rent again if we ever get back to the White River area.i

Amazing

This stay was wonderful. The cabin was nice and cleaned up well. It may seem close to other houses/cabins in the pictures, but it was so peaceful. We did not hear a word out of anyone. The owners were wonderful and left us eggs in the refrigerator. The view was absolutely breathtaking! We will most certainly be back.

We are natives of the area...grew up here and raised our own kids here! The river is always where we wanted to live. We bought this cabin initially as a place to bring the kids and their friends over the weekends, and fell in love with the area and ended up building our forever home on the empty lot next door. Now we enjoy sharing our cabin and our favorite place to be with others!
