About this property

Rustic Silo Home, Huge Shower, Kitchen, Sunsets.

Amazing silo home....The Rustic Roundhouse
A Hunter’s Dream stay but adventure for all.
2-person Shower, Sunsets to die for and unique decor……Bucket List Worthy!
Full kitchen, DVDs, TV, fire pit and a small charcoal grill. Plenty of parking and close to restaurants/grocery store.
The space
Rustic, unique and beautiful…..staying here is an experience in itself! The loft upstairs is not enclosed but rather open to below. There is a half wall/railing for privacy and safety. Three single beds are upstairs for sleeping as well as a very comfortable and high quality queen mattress folding out from the sofa downstairs. This place is compact and should provide everything you need for a comfortable, unforgettable stay including a full kitchen and a large 2-person shower.
Other things to note
No wifi. Cell reception is good outside including usually watching YouTube/Netflix outside, but reception inside is terrible. Texts inside get through but phone is poor and videos do not stream inside.

A unique experience!
We had a quick stay, but it a well worth it unique stay. We stayed in a silo, how cool is that! Stars at night, deer roaming around early morning. Quiet, remote area. Highly recommend this unique location.

Fun at the silo!
I told the teens I was traveling with that I was going to give them a real midwestern experience with our rental. They did not know what to expect and then when we rolled up on the property they were SO excited! It was like renting a cabin but in a silo in the middle of the Midwest. We loved it! The animals throughout (decorations) were our favorite things. ❤️

Very unique space on the outskirts of a tiny, quiet town. Great views, scenic. No planes overhead and very few cars passing by on the road. Shower had great water pressure and stayed warm. Heat worked great! You could hear coyotes barking/howling at night with (or against?) each other which was a bit jarring but it's the wilderness and expected. Stars were stunning to see clearly at night. Space included a few extra house guests (stink bugs and lady bugs) but we sucked most of them up and tossed them outside as we saw them. Newer cell phones have bluetooth connectivity and mobile wifi in the silo so bring your speaker of choice! It gets really warm upstairs so we slept downstairs on the pull out sofa. Twin beds upstairs are bolted to the wall (why? Not sure) but other than those oddities the experience was serene and off-grid, which is exactly why we stayed.
