About this property

Crooked Canyon Lodge Cabin - Classic Montana Cabin on Gallatin River

**Security Deposit Required & 30 Night Minimum**

Stay in this classic Montana cabin located on the Gallatin River with views of Storm Castle Peak.
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main cabin sleep six, and a bunkhouse accommodates additional guests.

NOTE: Bunkhouse is closed to guest use October 15 - May 15, so guest capacity is limited to 6 during these months. The bunkhouse is unheated year-round.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This property is the quintessential Montana cabin for your summer or winter getaway. Classic wood paneling lends a cozy atmosphere to this riverfront retreat. You can walk out of the back door and experience some of the best fishing southwest Montana has to offer while enjoying the shade cast by the mature Douglas Firs surrounding the cabin.

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS: This cabin has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main floor bedroom has a queen size bed and the upstairs room has a queen and two full size beds. There is a full bath downstairs along with another full bath upstairs with a walk in shower. The bunkhouse in the yard has an additional two full beds and one twin bed.

KITCHEN AND DINING: The kitchen has a classic western feel yet has all the appliances you need to cook a great meal for the family with a stove, oven, and microwave. The fridge is located in an adjoining space. The dining table can accommodate six people while there is a small second table close to the kitchen for the kids.

LIVING ROOM: Gather around the stone fireplace on exquisite leather furniture and share stories from the day’s adventures. This is Montana comfort at its best!

SETTING AND VIEWS: Storm Castle Peak towers over the cabin and the rushing Gallatin River below for an unparalleled feeling of being truly in the mountains. Mature trees on the property will keep provide shade on long Montana summer days.

TOWN/AIRPORT: You are about 25 miles from both downtown Bozeman and Bozeman’s Gallatin Field Airport, and 20 miles to Big Sky's Meadow Village.

NEARBY ACTIVITIES: Besides fishing right out the door, hiking, skiing and whitewater rafting are nearby. One of our favorite river outfitters is just up the road, and there are great hiking trailheads within a few miles. Big Sky and Moonlight Basin Ski areas are about 30 miles away.
