Villa Strawberry is located adjacent to Villa Blueberry (325497). These two villas can be rented together for large groups of up to 18 persons. Villa Mercury (7953324), Villa Lyons (9074785) & Villa Chossie (9076201) are also located next to this villa.

Situated in an ideal location, just a short distance from the beach and local restaurants, this villa is a great starting point for your excursions in the area. The interior design combines modern style with a wide range of traditional elements such as the beautiful stone walls typical of the place, the wooden beams on the ceilings and tiled floors which add an extra charm to the house. This villa is located on ground floor and consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms of which one is en-suite, living and kitchen/dining area. Outside, the terrace and the swimming pool provide the perfect setting for relaxing in the sun of Malta.

Air conditioning is available through a Pay-Per-Use Coin Machine with €5 euro daily offered free while has free Wi-Fi accessible from all rooms.

Villa Strawberry Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Strawberry. The house itself, is an old stone farm house that has been redone so it has modern amenities but retains many original features. The pool and patio area were a nice place to relax for a few days of sunshine or for a glass of wine after a day exploring.

Okay, Not Stupendous

I will begin with the pros of the house: nice layout, clean, attractive Maltese style, good pool and patio area. Unfortunately, the owners sort of ruin the experience. There are warnings and rule placards everywhere warning about damage and what we will be fined for. I understand the temptation vrbo hosts may have to reduce damage or think of every possible bad situation, but this RUINS the vacation experience and does not lend a sense of hospitality or welcome. We felt as though the owners would rather we weren’t there, a “stay here but don’t touch anything” sort of attitude. I am a VRBO host and use none of these harsh practices. The owner also tried to get me to pay a cash deposit, either in hand or via a bank transfer. This is against VRBO policy. You have the right to refuse this and ask the owner to contact vrbo to handle a deposit, though your credit card. DO NOT give these people cash. You likely won’t see it again because they’ll try to blame you for damage and keep it. Be advised.

Very quite location. You can walk to groceries shops in 10 min and bus stops very close for nice water front restaurants in Marsaskala which is 10min on a bus.

Séjour agréable !

Jolie Villa typique des maisons de ferme Maltaise mieux que sur les photos avec un très beau jardin dans une série de villas en rangée. Nous avons passé d’agréables moment grâce à la piscine privée. Très paisible car nos voisins n’ont pas semblé utiliser leurs espaces extérieurs. Cependant, malgré les murs de pierre qui séparent les villa, la proximité des voisins si ils sont bruyants, pourrait gâcher vos vacances. Côté pratique: lave-vaisselle inefficace qui fuit à remplacer, absence de poignée extérieur sur la porte du jardin ce qui empêche de la fermer lorsque la clim fonctionne, pas de table pour déposer un verre près des transats et tuyau d’évacuation de l’eau du climatiseur qui se déverse partout sur la terrasse. De petits irritants auxquels le propriétaire pourrait facilement remédier.

Gute Basis zur Erkundung des Ostens Maltas

Ein sehr netter Kontakt mit Vermieterin, viele gute und hilfreiche Tipps. Ein ordentliches, sauberes und angemessen ausgestattetes Haus. Leider befindet sich das Haus direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Straße, so dass ein ruhiger Schlaf zumindest in einem der beiden Schlafzimmer kaum möglich ist. Eine zusätzliche Gebühr für WLAN und die Kaution in bar ist auch in der heutigen Welt etwas erstaunlich. Ansonsten absolut in Ordnung. Sehr gute Anbindung an Valetta, Three Cities, sowie Dörfer und Buchten an der Ostküste.

Lovely villa

Stayed here as a family of 4 in October 2018. Exactly what we were looking for, private pool, bbq and proper chill out time. Owners were nice and helpful and even granted us a late check out on the last day. There are 2 shops near by which are well stocked for daily needs and even a pizza take away shop about 2 mins from the villa. The owners left us local taxi numbers in the info book which we used to go to the local towns (10 euros) and we had a few evening meals in town which were great. Kids made the most of having our own pool and overall it was a Great chill out holiday!

Sfeervolle woning

De woning is sfeervol maar de inrichting heeft niet de kwaliteit die ik verwacht bij de omschrijving "luxe villa". De kwaliteit van de bedden vonden wij matig (houten planken als bodem) die bovendien erg kraakten. De keuken is ruim, de inventaris is voldoende en van prima kwaliteit. Het zwembad was tijdens ons bezoek niet meer in de staat zoals op de foto. Aan een kant ontbraken alle randstenen. De eigenaren zijn wel erg behulpzaam. Josette: dank je wel voor het regelen van de taxi! Wij hadden de pech dat de naastgelegen woning (Blueberry) was gehuurd door erg luidruchtige mensen. Tot in de kleine uurtjes konden wij meegenieten van hun feestgedruis. Conclusie: een goede gastvrouw en gastheer, een sfeervolle woning maar er zijn ook wel wat minpuntjes.

Eccellente abitazione!!! Consigliatissima

Abbiamo soggiornato a Villa Strawberry con amici. L'abitazione è una location perfetta per trascorrere una vacanza a Malta. La casa è molto bella, curata e con ogni comfort. La possibilità di godere della piscina privata, del barbecue e del giardino rende tutto perfetto La signora Josette è accogliente, carina e gentilissima. Prenotate senza esitazione!!!! Sarà tutto molto molto bello!!!!

Mela......this is the place !

well, where to start ? Thanks to Chris and his Josette who simply arranged a perfect stay for us. A cosy farmhouse, equipped with all things you need, all perfect clean and the atmosphere you cannot disbribe, you have to feel it. Coming since 30 years to Malta this was the first time ever I stayed in the South of the Island. A perfect combination of holiday and business (a lot of meetings I had at the pool site...) and a hospitality I have not met before (in the North of the Island)....So, this place I can highly recommend to all who want to have a feeling of the real Malta (just a bit away from the hectic Sliema / St. Julians / Buggiba area) and beside this...a big THANK YOU to Chris and his family for making this happen. grazzi hafna / narak Klaus

Good base

A very charming house. We were met by Josette, the owner, who handed us the keys and answered our queries. The house itself is charming and provided us with a good base to tour the island which is beautiful. Next time will try to come in summer to be able to enjoy the pool!

A very charming house restored to its original features. It provided a lovely base to explore Malta. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and all necessities. It was very clean and the owners were very helpful. The pool area was lovely as well. Would surely recommend it!

Quaint villa

We stayed at this house recently and must say that it was a relaxing holiday. The house is a typical Maltese farmhouse with swimming pool. It provided all necessary amenities and we all loved chilling out by the pool and having barbecues in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

WOW

A very well-kept, well-equipped and clean villa in a quiet location. We opted to spend our holiday in a self-catering villa as we had two of our children and in-laws staying with us. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere, relaxing by the pool and organizing barbecues in the evening! A truly enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Will be back next year!

Wonderful family vacation

We spent a week here with our two young boys (aged 4 and 1) and loved it. We rented a car and this was a great home base for us to explore the rest of Malta from. We especially loved being able to come home after a busy day exploring and cool off in our own pool. Our 4 year old even learned to swim on his own. He'll never forget having his own pool!

Great Place for a Wonderful Stay at a Fascinating Place

We were lucky enough to have spent a little over a week in Malta in March, and we were even luckier to have booked Strawberry Villa as a place to stay for our little group. It was spacious, scrupulously clean, fully equipped and well located outside Valetta, right opposite the local bus stop with low-cost service into the city. The manager, Josette, was wonderful and went out of her way to be helpful, arranging a mid-week tour and even locating a lost hat and ensuring its return. Malta is a hidden jewel (possibly not so hidden nowadays). We should have stayed longer. If you need three bedrooms and privacy for each member of a group, and want excellent cooking facilities, close to a nearby butcher shop and grocery, at a very reasonable price, this is an ideal place. It wasn't the season to make use of the outdoor facilities, including the pool, but this would be nice in the summer. Superb place and a joy to live in for our week of tourism in Malta!

I almost hate to write this review as I wanted this villa to be mine. I had one of my best holidays ever and reading by the pool in the garden really served as a refreshing holiday away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life in London. Thanks to the wonderful owners.

Ideal Vacation Spot

I spent 13 days in November at the villa. The weather was perfect and it was practically sunny every day. The owner was always very accommodating and eager to make our holiday a special one. The kitchen is fabulous and has all the equipment required. I have distant relatives living in Malta and they really fell in love with this villa in fact they want to book it for a weekend break in winter. The location is ideal as it is very close to some of the best restaurants in Malta. I will book the villa once again as soon as I return home.

Great Villa for Families

This property exceeded my expectations. We were travelling around Europe and Malta was our last stop. The ages in our group of six ranged from 9 to 60 years. We had a wonderful time at the villa. It had all that we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and also stocked with some spices. The villa is cozy and the garden really made our evenings special. Highly recommended to families of 6.

Auf dem Bild erscheint alles sehr schoen aber je länger man sich etwas anschaut, desto mehr sieht man.Der Geschirrspüler ist veraltet, laute Drahtstäbe zu sehen.Die Waschmaschine, auf 40 Grad gestellt, lief etwa 3 Std. lang, weil sie nicht funktionstüchtig ist. Die Sachen haben sich verfärbt. Es fehlen Töpfe für 6 Personen Haushalt, es waren nur 2 kleine und 1 großer Topf. Die Pfanne war zerkratzt, und wie bekannt, es ist giftig.Solche Pfanne verursacht Krebskrankheiten.Küchenstühle waren zu niedrig im Vergleich zum Tisch. Ich mußte mich immer auf dem Kopfkissen hinsetzen, damit es bequem wird.Bin 167 cm groß. Eine Küchengasplatte hat nicht funktionert, es war einfach kaputt. Das gleiche gilt für Flaschen und Dosenöffner. Die Handtücher sind alt und verwaschen. Wahrscheinlich interresiert es die Besitzer sowas gar nicht.Im Bad gibt es genug Platz, um dort eine Kosmetikablage zu befestigen, leider das fehlte auch. Selbst ein Hocker würde schon reichen.Mußte ständig meine Kosmetiksachen aus dem Zimmer ins Bad mitnehmen. Wunderschön präsentiert sich ein großer Schirm am Pool drausen- das ist aber auf dem Foto, weil die Realität zeigt uns keine Spur davon.Es ist einfach verschwunden.Es diente lediglich um schöne Fotos zu machen um einen guten Eindruck zu gewinnen und viele Sterne zu bekommen, weil wie wir ersehen können- Villa Strowberry hat fast 5 Sterne bekommen! Ich frage mich wofür? Die Liegestühle sind abgenutzt und wenn man sich hinsetzt, hat man einen Gefühl in der Wippe zu liegen. Sie sind unbequem und genau am Rücken bekommt man durch den Metallstab starke Schmerzen. Das Holzgestell kann man auch vergessen. Es fehlen auch die Ablagen auf den Liegestühlen, was allerdings in der Villa nebenan zu sehen ist. Mein Schlafzimmer hat ein Fenster direkt auf die Hauptstrasse gerichtet, so daß man nachts nur beim geschlossenem Fenster schlafen konnte. Das Lärm ist unerträglich durch dort fahrende Motors, Autos ect.Man ist also gezwungen bei der geschalteten Klimaanlage zu schlafen, wofür noch extra Geld kassiert wird.Im anderen Schlafzimmer ist die Minidusche für Zwerge, das Wasser fließt nicht sondern tropft.Für die Besitzerin Frau Josette ist cash wichtig und sogar viel cash. Sie war nett solange bis sie uns ihren kaltgepressten Oil verkauft hatte und wir bei ihr alle Ausflüge gebucht und bezahlt haben. Wir haben satte Summe für 2 Wochen im September dort bezahllt. Keiner hat uns dazu gezwungen aber die tolle Beschreibung der Villa hat gesiegt.Am 12.09.Feuer!

An Ideal Holiday

This villa is very well-furnished with a well-equipped kitchen and a fabulous pool / bbq area. It boasts that Maltese traditional finish which makes you appreciate the island even more. Although set in a quiet area in the South of Malta we were pleased to find that mini markets, convenience stores and the beach were only a few minutes away. It truly is good value for money especially if you are after that relaxing holiday where you just want to unwind and do nothing except swim, lounge and have barbeques.

A perfect getaway

Not only booking is so straightforward, Josette the owner is ready to help you with any queries one might have. We got a friendly welcome once we arrived there and were impressed with the cleanliness and space this villa offers. A well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and an overall cosy feel to the villa are just a few perks to mention about this accommodation. Our son had the time of his life swimming in the pool and there is also a good provision of sun loungers which offered us the relaxing time that my husband and I were looking for. We will definitely come again.
